We were just here one night passing thru in the RV. We did have a late night arrival and the guy met us at the entrance to guide us to the spot. Nice concrete pads next to site. Great shower and bath houses. Clean and excellent water pressure. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 just because communication was a little difficult. We planned our first RV trip to go as far as South Dakota from LA, CA. Since the Corvid Virus, we tried road tripping. Sounded good and safe. I planned stays on the way around 250 to 300 miles a day. Everything was great, until we got to this RV park. I planned over a month before, and this park had me confirmed for the #44 spot. When we arrived, the Park Manager told me they moved me to #45. I asked if it was shaded and was told it was. When got to the site, we had shade by the RV, but no picnic table or bbq. #45 site (our reserved spot) had both a picnic table which was in the shade and bbq. That was the beginning of our problems here. The manager gave the password for Wi-Fi, and my wife and I tried a number of times, so I took my iPad to the office, the manager told me she was surprised that the password didn't work, then the manager gave a new password that was the long term campers use. Went back to RV and logged on to the new wi-fi. It had a very low signal, so I had to use my iphone's personal hotspot. Final note, when we arrived and the manager showed me were are spot was, told me to turn around by the pool, I got back into the RV and my wife and I tried to find the pool. I found our crappy spot, so when I went back to the office for the wi-fi problem, I ask her where is the pool, she told me it's still being built. HOW would I know this. This place is a ghetto, lots on permanent RV's. Will never recommend to my friends. read more

Don't make a reservation here unless you're prepared to lose ALL YOUR MONEY if you have a change of plans or an emergency causing you to cancel your travel itinerary. We tried to cancel our reservation with two weeks advanced notice. Yes, I said two weeks, which is plenty of notice for classy RV parks that aren't pinching pennies. Sadly, St. George RV Park isn't one of those places. They take all the money up front and there are NO REFUNDS for any reason! None... The lady on the phone said the policy is posted on their website. Well, we didn't make our reservation online, we did it over the phone. I guess she forgot to mention the NO REFUND cancellation policy - yeah right... It's sleazy and cheap. There are many nice RV parks to choose from nearby. Unless you have money to throw away, pick another RV park. read more

Ok. Where to begin? Reserved our spot way ahead of time(4 months). The first thing I noticed when I called to make a reservation was that the phone would ring several times but no voicemail was set up to take a message out of office hours. Annoying. All corespondence was done through email. Second, I received an email with a registration form that looked like a rental agreement-asking for incomes and work phone #'s etc. What???? But, silly me, thought they were being thorough and it was an upscale park. We also had to submit a picture of our rv for approval. Then we get there. No place to park to check in. We parked where we thought was a clear spot and was yelled at by the manager Steve for blocking the road. Okay-why no check in spot?? Park is very run down. Huge sections of road are gone and"fixed"with patch tar. There are over 100 spots but only 2 trash bins. So the bins were overflowing all the time. There is no dog run so all the dogs have to walk on the rocks or a patch of dirt that is on the side of the park. No dog poo receptacles or even regular trash cans available for use. Used laundry room once and found it very old and the washing machines smelled like mildew. The campground has 3 picnic benches but none are available at the site's themselves. There are approximately 1 tree per spot but not really big enough to provide any shade. The sites are set up so that you share a patio with your neighbor which actually turned out not to be a bad thing. You really get to know your neighbor! We became good friends with ours. The RV community is really very nice-regardless of what rv park you are at! Another reason I gave one star was that the manager Steve had assured our dear neighbor he would help him set up as the neighbor was new to RVing. When they pulled in it happened to be Halloween and when it was time to hook up Steve said he couldn't help because he had to go to a Halloween party. We found them left high and dry and it was getting dark. We hooked them up ourselves but I will never forget Steve leaving them high and dry. This man shouldn't manage a paper bag, let alone a RV park! I was horrified! Lastly , as stated before, the park is really for full time residents, not RV guests. The residents are cordial but we found glass bottles and trash thrown about. Our dog almost ripped up his paw on a glass shard when we were taking an evening walk. And after dark it feels a bit sketchy, frankly. Also stated before the freeway noise is incredibly loud-all day and night. It was almost impossible to sleep a full night. Not very restful. We saw several people pull in and leave. The only reason we stayed is because of our friends and the money we would've lost. The star is for the office manager Charisse. She was polite and respectful whenever we had a question or went to pick up boxes. Otherwise-put the pedal to the metal, drive by and look for a different Rv park! read more

About the only good thing to say about this place is the after hours contact is a very helpful guy. The office is closed on the weekend. For what you pay there really are no amenities. Good thing it's "free" cable because if I had to pay for it, the way it just come in and out, I'd really be upset. After hours and weekends it seems people, especially the long term tenants, Just do what the want. Dogs off their leash pooping all over and owners not picking it up. Speaking of long term residents; there must not be any rules on maintaining a clean/uncluttered site! No quiet hours. I honestly can't put everything down. Update 07/28/19 This is our second time here and this campground deserve 10 stars. The staffs emma, paige and manager, Steve are very friendly. Steve, manager is very understanding that we are going to be late, ended up early morning. Our RV tire blew out on the way to the campground. I was calling Steve a few times to give him a courtesy update and he was very understanding of our situation. He goes out of his way for his customers. With no sleep and a child I would definitely come back here. This is one of the best family campgrounds for me. I've read some bad reviews for the campground and it's sad because for my experience the staffs been very helpful and accommodating. The park is right alongside the freeway and that freeway noise was just soooo loud. The park is mostly full of fulltime residents which gave it a very rundown appearance. Luckily the park was not full when I was there, but I was told if it got busy to expect to share my small patio space with my neighbor. I probably would've left and boondocked somewhere if that happened. No picnic tables or other amenities at the space. There was a picnic area but it was not a very inviting space. There was cable offered, but the cable line was only about 6-8 ft long. Guess I need to travel with an extension. The staff was friendly. Everyone that assisted from taking my reservation, to check in to park assisting...They were all great. read more

Do not stay at this place. It shouldn't even be advertised as a RV park and camp ground but rather a long term run down trailer park. Unfortunately we didn't read the reviews before booking. Yikes very sketch. We didn't even stay 30 minutes. I'd feel safer in the Cracker Barrel parking lot. Thankfully we got into Snow Canyon RV and campground. This place is super rough and run down. We've been staying in RV parks for the past 6 months (2-3 night per spot) and this is the worst BY FAR. There was no welcome/orientation process. When we pulled up the door to the office was locked and then a unfriendly guy in a car asked for my last name and pointed us to a spot (no map, amenities overview, etc.). The spot was a dirt patch. We would have left, but we're forced to pay for our three nights up front. This is definitely more of a long-term Park then short term vacationers. It's right off the highway, so very noisy. The pool is being torn up, so lots of construction equipment around. The whole place is sketchy. I would not stay here again. read more

Let's start with the positive: the staff at the RV park was great. Very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean, and it appears they were attempting to add some amenities. But the negatives far outweigh the positives. First, I'm guessing at least 90% of the RVs in the park are full-timers, and it's obvious that management doesn't care how they're taken care of. Junk piled up around the rigs, underneath, and many in disrepair. Several of the sites had dripping pipes for water hookups, and we couldn't even find our sewer pipe because it was broken off and under a rock. The only place we could take our dog to relieve her was across the street by the side of the road! The entrance looks nice but after that it goes downhill quickly. The roads were horrible and the whole place is in desperate need of a clean-up. Located about 50 "scenic" yards from an interstate and the noise was awful. Look elsewhere. read more

Not ADA compliant. Claimed site was compliant and had grass, shade and patio. Claimed ADA compliant shower and bathroom. Site was thick gravel, no grass or patio with shade. No table at site either. Barely able to get wheelchair through gravel. Bathroom/shower filthy and not ADA compliant. Shower had lip and not able to be used by person in wheelchair. Mostly long term campers. If it had not been so late when we checked in we would have left. Definitely will not stay again but as we had prepaid we stayed the night read more

We really liked this rv Park except for the dog area. Appreciated there was one but it stayed pretty busy. There are a lot of people with pets. More attention needs to be given to this area. Black asphalt is very hot on paws especially in summer months. Rest room/ shower was very nice. Access to Town was very convenient. We had reservations however someone didn't write them down or didn't make appropriate note that we needed two spots for two rigs and had paid in advance. Ended up pretty close to each other but that shouldn't have happened. Reservations were made well in advance! I would visit again. read more

Very rude girl who takes reservations - claims to be the manager. When I made my reservation, they required a $15 deposit to hold the space. Never said it was non-refundable nor did they email the confirmation as promised. Had to cancel and gave them 6 WEEKS notice of the cancellation. The same rude girl told me then that the deposit was non-refundable. I told her that their website doesn't say anything about it being non-refundable and she said, "geez, it's only $15." Then she said that they are in the process of updating their website and it will say the deposit is non-refundable in the future. After reading the other reviews, super glad we're not staying there. We go to St George often, but I can guarantee that we will never stay here!! read more

I have stayed here at St.George RV many times and last year they were having energy issues so they added more spaces and left the infrastructure the same. Now this summer.......... The power now has been intermittent for days. The office say,s if you dont like it you can leave. No discounts offered,no, were so sorry. Just a very rude young office girl. They also have been trying to put a pool in for a year and a half?.... You can only keep taking peoples money so long with out reinvesting before you loose your base. We will leave.They dont want our business. read more

This is really not an RV park for travelers. This is a community of folks living in their RV's. The folks there were friendly and it was quiet. It could be cleaned up a bit. There are clean showers and bathrooms available. read more

I will say the website is a little misleading, we checked in here for a night on the way home and we were very surprised to realize that's it's less of an RV park and more of a long term stay campground. The park has full hookups which is nice. On the plus, the staff is super friendly and helpful, the bathrooms while outdated are kept very clean, and the park is very close to restaurants, shops, and there's plenty to do outside of the park. One thing I would say they could do to improve is to have a larger dog area. read more

They do not have 50 amp (please update your webpage) they do not offer to assist you and I am pretty sure they jacked up the price from 30 to 45 a night which is overpriced for what they offer. On top of that they have a ton of open spaces but still made us pay to park our trailer on a site. Now we know why they have so many openings. Next time different place! read more

This is one of the dirtiest RV parks we have ever been in. Tight spaces sharing a cement pad with your neighbor where only one of you could put out an awning. Many old rv's that people are living in full time. Don't be fooled by the pictures on the web sight. Price for all this was almost $50.00 a night. The only plus was the manager was very helpful and nice trying to get our tv working. read more

Stayed here overnight and didn't want to remove my car. Was able to pull through but just barley. Sites are all dirt/ gravel and uneven and cramped. Spent way too much time trying to level my 34ft MH. There is a front office but not inviting at all. Staff nice enough, but didn't even get off the stool to check me in. Didn't use showers or bathrooms so couldn't comment. This is a residential park as well and there doesn't seem to be any rules about what goes. Price was decent. read more

People were very nice. We stayed 2 wks. Interstate 15 is Very close and road noise is constant. Looked like construction was going super slow on the pool. (Seen someone 1 day in 2 weeks working ) Overall grounds we're ok but a lot of stuff (clutter) around the permanent residence. Bathrooms were nice. Thank God we didn't leave the pets in RV while to go shopping a few hours. We were preparing to go when power went down at 1 pm today and it's 100 degrees outside!! Power blew last night & kit was only half-assed fixed to restore power. Wires, transformers & system old & not maintained. No surprise it blew again today.... and in hottest part of day. No backup system here!! Any people who left pets in their rv for the day might have dead & baked pets when they return later. New owners for about a year. Grassy areas dry & dying, roads need work, many many "residents" here. Only a few spots for "real RVers". New showers & new pool under construction, but infrastructure stinks. Office bldg stinks, crap furniture & equipment, and wood paneling from 70's !! Dog area has very little dead grass... mostly dirt in sill sun. Burns dog feet & not usable. Seriously consider a different rv park until these owners take pride in this mess. read more

Nice clean park with pool and hot tub. RV spaces are a little tight, but nicely laid out.

Pulled in around 6:00 on a Saturday night and no one was in the office. Called Steve and he helped us get a spot but then left the park. The park was more for long term tenants since there were multiple spots with cars on blocks. Steve told us the spot had cable but we were unable to get it to work. The next morning we talked with Alex and asked for a reduced rate due to the lack of cable and he told us that it did work and must be our TV. He then indicated the last person had also had issues with cable but it was their TV. When I told him I was frustrated by his lack of customer service, he told us we had 20 min to leave HIS property. We used the same TV and hook up cables for the rest of the trip and had no issues. Would never stay here again. read more

My original intent was to stay only one week at St. George RV Park and ended up staying five weeks taking in the sights in and around SW Utah. For me the park was near perfect - located on the north end of town with Wal-Mart and all the normal restaurant and services within three miles. This second generation, at least, family operated business is quite, clean with abundant shade on most sites. Both the manager Jerry and his assistant Steve are encyclopedias of knowledge about the area and they are happy to share it. The shower house is always clean as is the swimming pool. As a special bonus the park office is like a mini natural history museum. Jerry has perfected the art of napping (arrowhead making) and has on display his truly remarkable works of art that are worthy of residing in any museum. They are simply a joy to behold! He willing shares his endless knowledge of all aspects of this craft and will even give a napping demonstration on occasion. St. George RV Park's rates are certainly competitive and I was treated more than fairly when extending my stay. When I left I felt as is I was leaving family. They even forwarded my mail after departing. Quiet, clean old fashioned customer service and appreciation. It's my kind of park. Sam Masters Clifton, Texas read more

DO NOT STAY HERE! Overall it was a horrible experience. The nightly rate is ridiculous for what you get. The place is dirty and unkept, there is a junk yard next to the office, the grass is nearly dead, the internet doesn't work most of the time. Extended stay campers are not allowed to use the restrooms/showers. This was not explained to me when I registered. read more

We really liked the park! It was convienant to anything we needed, Steve was awesome! If you need anything he is the man to ask. New management came in at the beginning of January 2018 and they're already making many improvements and they are way more friendly than the previous manager. Has everything we needed, showers/restrooms, wifi, full hookups and the pool/hot tub was under construction, but looks like it will be great when it's done. We will recommend this campground to anyone who asks and will gladly stay again. read more

This was a great one night stop...Steve was very helpful, helped us get settled it and leveled and then sifted out the leaves from the pool so our kids could swim and brought us fresh ice for our cooler. The bathrooms were dated but very clean. It was great to have the hookups for the night as we ran the air most of the time. read more

I have never written a bad review but I feel this one is warranted. If you value sleep, do not stay here. It is right off the highway. They claim to be pet friendly be are far from. There are signs everywhere that say no pets, and I mean everywhere. They told us we could take our dog to a strip of dirt and gravel and they watched us like hawks to make sure we picked up after our dog. The staff was rude throughout the stay. They didn't tell us when checkout was but knocked on the door and charged us $10 extra for staying 30 minutes past. The owners had built a cool Catio for their cat and that is the only reason I even have one star. Unless you are desperate, do not stay here. read more
