Drive to the gated area to the right of the main entrance roadway and they will peacefully look at you or ignore you. They posed wonderfully for photos! There is a mini general store for food provisions, clothing and more. Very friendly lady working in there. One can pick up their swimming towels for their warm swimming pool and hot tubs nearby. There are showers and even an adults only hot tub area. There will is also more fast food dining options and gas stations nearby. Located about 15 minutes to Zion Park and the other direction to LaVerkin. Lots of hiking and dirt roads to explore nearby, too.

We laid out on it at night and could not get over what a cool experience that alone was. Decor is top notch. The privacy of each unit was actually incredibly comfortable. The ac is fantastic. Getting to stargazer 2 was easy but possibly challenging for those with mobility challenges in regards to stairs. The jacuzzi and fire pit were so fun. Oh and the smores kit was such a nice touch as well as the welcome basket. We travel a lot and this place has it dialed in. Truly. Cold waters in the fridge upon arrival - ahhhh. So what would I add - a wellness spa for massages, on site morning yoga, sound bathing, etc.... I might add a very modern pool or one that incorporates nature. Lastly I'd recommend a type of gnat spray provided to guests. At dawn and sunset they are incredibly active. Once we got there, a few things we amiss. Adults on the jungle gym, people walking around shirtless and smoking vapes. People having inappropriate conversations about private adult matters. And there were ZERO other children. Every parental nerve was standing on high alert. Come to find out, only after seeing a flyer posted on site, Zion Ponderosa was hosting an adult's only event. NO WHERE ON THE WEBSITE was this listed. How dare you market yourself as a family friendly resort then host an event ON THE ENTIRE PREMISES intended ONLY for 18+ years. And because these were the only accommodations we made (we obviously didn't think we would need a plan B) every other accommodations were fully booked. Which meant, we drove all day for nothing. We planned and spent for nothing. Our kids missed their experience all because your resort mislead us by omitting very important details. So now we are driving home at night, past bedtime, disappointed, sad, and pretty livid. If you have an adults only event, POST IT ON YOUR WEBSITE, for those of us who are bringing minors. It's common sense and common courtesy.

Just came back this week after a 3-night stay with a group--3 families, 6 adults, and 4 kids and it's been really cool to see how much it's evolved. The location is solid, about a 15-20 minute drive to Zion National Park, which made getting in and out super easy. The bungalows are a great size, clean, comfortable, and well put together. Customer service was great the entire stay. One of the highlights was the vibe at night, hanging around the fire pits while the kids made s'mores... just a really good atmosphere overall. They also offered a late checkout option for $50, which extended checkout from 11am to 2pm, super convenient when you're traveling with a group and kids. Only reason I'm not giving it 4 stars is the lack of EV chargers. I've stayed at other spots nearby that offer charging, and it makes a big difference. The closest charger being about 20 minutes away is definitely inconvenient. Outside of that, it was a great stay and we'd come back again.

Most of the rentals here accommodate multiple bedrooms for larger families. Because each unit is owned by different individuals, your rental expense will vary greatly. Some rentals could be old and cheap, and some could be stellar. It all depends on who owns the rental. Our rental had just had a change of ownership, so there is some leeway on my review. Furnishings were older, a few broken items, and a few mice. The previous owners/renters shoved the wifi and router in a phone box with no ventilation and were burning hot to the touch.. This caused the router (internet) not to work when we arrived. We fixed it ourselves.. We also fixed the mice issue. The biggest plus for this place was the community pool. There was a lazy river, which was a huge hit with the kids. Our rental had video games in the garage and a foosball table. Walmart is just down the street.

They email you a code to enter at the door and you just go right in and also the same as when you check out. The rooms are fully stocked with kitchen appliances and even a BBQ grill! The condo itself has ample space, a huge bathroom, a walk in closet, a living room, a dining table that seats 6 and a washer and dryer! The atmosphere is relaxing and with 4 of us, there was plenty of space. The resort is the perfect distance between parks and the city. We enjoyed 4 days here, the amenities and the feeling of privacy. This place is not crowded at all, it was the perfect getaway. Major plus - it's super quiet, there's a gas station right next to it, a little market and a wine store about 500 feet away with tons of wine!

These amenities are really for RV park users. The hotel rooms are upstairs and were previously offices. No elevator. Walls are very thin. From my room, I could hear all the goings-in in other rooms, including dogs barking and kids yelling. There was a lot of racket, people shouting in the lobby and common rooms downstairs in the evening, so I was afraid to venture out of my room. In the morning, from the hallway, I could actually hear someone snoring. The room was large and had floor rather than carpet, so it was mostly clean. Although there was a small pile of hair on the bathroom floor by the shower. By the way, the shower was not designed well, so much of the bathroom floor got wet after it was used. Also, the toilet did not have a lid! That's unsanitary. For around $250 for one night, I would have been much better off staying at a real hotel in town.
