Perimeter sites 1 - 13 and 66 - 81 all have walls behind them, which we really like.

If I could select six stars, I would. Zion National Park has been on our "we gotta do this" list since we got our travel trailer and earlier this week we made it happen. Yay! We figured we'd have to find some dispersed camping options given that we didn't start scoping out spots until TUESDAY before Memorial Day weekend, but lo and behold we stumbled upon Gateway Luxury RV Resort in La Verkin, Utah. LOCATION This gem was built in 2024, and you can tell from the moment you drive in. It's at the "gateway" to Zion National Park where Utah SR17 and SR9 intersect to take you to the southern entrance of Zion National Park. It's about a 25 minute drive, which is lovely in itself. SITES 31 pull-thru RV sites 50 back-in RV sites 16 luxury casitas All the RV sites have 20/30/50 amp electrical hook-ups, sewer and water. Sites feature a 16' wide leveled concrete pad and a 15x7 patch of turf, which I had never experienced before but it makes a WORLD of difference in how the whole experience feels. Plus it's nice looking and it was the perfect little spot to use our dumbbells for our morning / evening workouts. Sites in the middle of the park are the more expensive pull-through options. Sites on the perimeter are the back-ins. Note that if you stay away from site numbers 14 through 34, you'll avoid the noise from the adjacent main road. (that's always one of our criteria when selecting a site) Pretty pool area with hot tub Four pickleball courts with lighting for nighttime play Corn hole Off-leash fenced dog park right next to the office Three restrooms / showers buildings Laundry (with detergent vending) Free wifi provided by the park A gift shop where they also sell snacks and some souveniers, drinks, etc. Two enclosed trash receptacles This is one of those places where if your rig is older than ten years, they say you'll need to get approval before booking. Every person we dealt with was very friendly and accommodating which is always a plus. RATES Back in sites are $55 to $85/night Pull-throughs are $90 - $100/night Casitas are $185 - $220/night We stayed in site number 79 and found it to be quiet and enjoyable. OVERALL We stayed three nights and enjoyed not only cycling Zion, but we played pickleball, biked and drove around the local area, and walked the park at night. There is also a lot of shopping and dining within about 15 minutes drive. We took a quick drive out to Leeds Trading Post where we had DELICIOUS ice cream and although we didn't try Casa Tequilana at the other end of the building, the rumor is they have THE VERY BEST authentic Mexican food in all of southern Utah. Conclusion: Gateway Luxury RV Resort is the nicest place we've stayed thus far and we definitely recommend and would go back!

Beautiful spacious lots. Each site includes a bit of green artificial grass (nice addition in the desert) and picnic bench.

Starting with the amazing staff, then the spacious & beautiful RV sites to the well kept amenities - this park is outstanding. Add to that the amazing views and proximity to Nat'l Parks. Our stay was most enjoyable. So happy to be here, and will definitely return.

Gateway Luxury RV Resort is the best we've ever experienced! The casitas are spacious, impeccably maintained, and offer stunning views. The amenities--pickle ball, a beautiful pool, and fast Wi-Fi--are top-notch. A huge thank you to the owner, Travis!

5 Stars - A True Luxury RV Experience at a Great Price! Gateway Luxury RV Resort completely exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we could tell this place was top-notch -- the entire park was spotless and beautifully maintained. The landscaping was lush and inviting, and the overall vibe was peaceful and upscale. The amenities were amazing! The gym was clean and well-equipped, and the pool and hot tub area felt like something out of a resort -- perfect for unwinding after a long drive. We were surprised (in the best way) to find so much more than we expected: pickleball courts, cornhole games, and plenty of shaded areas to relax. It really had everything we needed and more. One of the best parts? The price! For everything that was included, it was honestly a fantastic deal. You get luxury and comfort without breaking the bank -- a rare find for RV resorts of this quality. Our only small wish was that we had visited during cooler weather -- the heat made it tough to enjoy everything to the fullest. But that's no fault of the park itself. We're already planning a return trip when it's not so hot so we can soak in all that Gateway has to offer. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, relaxing, and fun RV getaway at a great value!

Pad area & pull through spots

What a beautifully maintained & well laid out park. Lots of space for the "big" rigs like ours. Amenities were nice too such as nice big laundry, large pool area, & very nice private bathrooms & showers. Good pet area too. The spots were all paved with a small patch of faux grass & picnic table. Easy check in & nice people. The only downside is the busy road with a large amount of traffic so try ensure yourself a spot farther from the road. This is the major road that heads up to Springdale & the entrance to Zion National Park. This was a nice thing too though because we could just hop on the road & head to Zion (30min drive). It was worth staying down here & it is easy to get everywhere plus close to grocery & gas.

Ok, just hear me out. This place is AWESOME! From the customer service from Travis and staff to the property. When we arrived it was clear that this is a nice place. We had just come from Springdale and there are multiple options for RV parks. Gateway is the best priced with the amenities included. The second day we were hanging out in the hot tub and the staff asked us what music we wanted playing. They then turned on the band we asked for. If you are here to see Zion, passing through or whatever. Just make sure you stay here!

View from the air. We took this picture as we flew over Gateway RV Park in a small plane.

Everyone at check in was so so kind. We loved our stay. We stayed in stargazer two and the mesh stargazing area is incredible. We laid out on it at night and could not get over what a cool experience that alone was. Decor is top notch. The privacy of each unit was actually incredibly comfortable. The ac is fantastic. Getting to stargazer 2 was easy but possibly challenging for those with mobility challenges in regards to stairs. The jacuzzi and fire pit were so fun. Oh and the smores kit was such a nice touch as well as the welcome basket. We travel a lot and this place has it dialed in. Truly. Cold waters in the fridge upon arrival - ahhhh. So what would I add - a wellness spa for massages, on site morning yoga, sound bathing, etc.... I might add a very modern pool or one that incorporates nature. Lastly I'd recommend a type of gnat spray provided to guests. At dawn and sunset they are incredibly active. Overall this place is nothing short of incredible and its founders should be very proud of what they have created. The effort in creating Open Sky is very much noticed. Sharing nature in this way is a huge gift and this place is truly something special!

While it's not right at the park entrance, it is a truly unique resort and absolutely worth the extra few minutes of driving. They offer a variety of cool accommodations, including glamping tents, tiny houses, and covered wagons. We chose to stay in a wagon, and despite the weather throwing 40-degree temperatures and high winds at us, it was incredibly warm and cozy inside. The wagon is exceptionally well thought out and equipped with a queen-size bed and a bunk bed, easily fitting a family of four. It also featured plenty of lights, outlets, a handy towel basket, and excellent AC/heating. The only downside of such a cold night was having to make the walk down the hill to the private bathrooms. However, the silver lining was getting to look up at an absolutely amazing night sky filled with millions of stars! For added convenience, there is an on-site coffee shop that sells breakfast items and sandwiches. In the evenings, they light up cozy campfires, and if you happen to visit on a warmer day, you can enjoy the beautiful pool and jacuzzi. We highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a memorable stay near Zion!

The pool was nice after a hot day in Zion NP, and we loved that there were other kids for our son to play with. Cafe was open until 10. The chicken Caesar and grilled cheese we ordered were delicious. Nice lawn with games and fire pits that they light every night at dusk, and really good s'mores!

These amenities are really for RV park users. The hotel rooms are upstairs and were previously offices. No elevator. Walls are very thin. From my room, I could hear all the goings-in in other rooms, including dogs barking and kids yelling. There was a lot of racket, people shouting in the lobby and common rooms downstairs in the evening, so I was afraid to venture out of my room. In the morning, from the hallway, I could actually hear someone snoring. The room was large and had floor rather than carpet, so it was mostly clean.
