Over the years, we've made so many memories at chapel, performances, and family picnics. There's also such a strong sense of community among the families and staff. As a parent, I was apprehensive about leaving my child in someone else's care, but from day one I felt completely comfortable and confident that she was well taken care of. Every single teacher at CTCA exceeded our expectations. Each one brought their own unique strengths to the classroom, and our kids were genuinely loved and had good morals instilled in them along the way. I especially want to thank Ms. Becca. I was torn between the free TK option and investing in my daughter's education here, and I am so grateful I chose to keep her at this school. Ms. Becca sent her into Kindergarten with confidence, strong social skills, and -- most importantly -- a real academic foundation. To this day, my daughter still talks about things she learned in Ms. Becca's class, and she is currently performing above grade level in her academics. That speaks for itself. She is now 6 and remembers what her teachers (especially Ms. Becca) have taught her. She is comfortable with drawing and writing in kindergarten thanks to her well developed fine motor and gross motor skills during her time at this preschool. When she became a kindergartener in the public school system, she helped her friends with opening lunchboxes, was confident in using the restroom and setting appropriate boundaries in friendships. Our second daughter is now in Ms. Becca's class at this preschool and she couldn't be more excited. She had wonderful and caring teachers ( Ms. Mariah and Ms. Winnie) who helped her become comfortable with school. We are grateful to have found this school and to have stayed here over the years. They have a wonderful little playground, a beautiful garden, and most importantly, a deeply caring staff.

They have since decided that they are not opening until 6:30 and are trying to say they told me at my tour but I made sure to confirm this. I show up at 6:30 every morning and they are never ready for children so I am 10-15 minutes behind. It is frustrating that the website still says 6-6 and they get mad at you for being there at 6:30 as if you were inconveniencing them. I talked to the director and she was rude.

When making our preschool decision for our sons, we wanted a place that would be fun, spark friendships and teach them their numbers and letters. But more importantly, we wanted a place that would foster the development of their character and reinforce the virtues we were teaching at home. The staff and teachers at MCDC not only teach patience, community, love, discernment, mindfulness, confidence and discipline; they embody it. They provide the perfect mix of love with discipline, patience with order, independence with guidance. You can see the level of sacrifice each staff member exudes to ensure the best outcome for the students. All of their dedication is apparent in way our sons are developing. Both of my sons attended the school and by the time they turned 5, they were reading and writing beyond our expectations. They were exposed to a wide variety of subjects and not just memorizing facts, they were learning how these subjects worked through tactically application. They also had several opportunities to develop their speaking and leadership skills through performances, speeches and mentoring other students. In addition to the strong academics and leadership MCDC helped to foster was the peace of mind and confidence we felt in the morning dropping them off knowing they are in the best possible hands. As a parent, you make so many sacrifices for your children and it's nice to know for the hours they are at school, the teachers and staff share that same level of love and dedication. Fast forward seven years - my sons are currently in seventh and fifth grade and both continue to thrive. Both tested into GATE SEMINAR and have continued to be in accelerated classes throughout their schooling. We attribute a lot of their success to the great foundation they received at MCDC. We were very nervous about how they would transition from a Montessori school to a traditional public school. However, they excelled academically and socially and made the transition smoothly. As with any Montessori school, it was an investment for our family. But, we feel the skills our sons learned combined with the independence and character they developed made our investment worth it. It's such a sweet family feel that we love. The curriculum is great, my kids are always coming home telling me what they learned about that day and excited to show me their art. The teachers are so warm and friendly, my kids love them and my son's teacher Miss Ana connects with me often about his day and any concerns that we're partnering together on (because 3 year olds are tough ). I really appreciate that she cares and takes the time to connect with me on things she's noticing and how we can best support him. They also do fun things like pot lucks and even this morning my son woke up and excitedly told me it was potluck day. Can't recommend this school enough!

I also loved how secure the school is, with the director standing at the entrance every single day for pickup and drop off. We also started our youngest at 4 months old and it's the same teacher. While there has been some turnover, many of the teachers have remained over the years we've been there, though some may have switched between different age-group classrooms during that time. Great learning environment. The teachers do a wonderful job of providing age appropriate activities and learning. Our oldest qualified for TK this past year but we chose to keep him at Kids Bay due to the learning environment. We would have loved for him to take part in the Jr. Kindergarten program Kids Bay offered but we unfortunately were unable to do so. Even though he didn't take part in the Jr. Kindergarten program, he's still ready to start Kindergarten. We also love the extra presentations they have from time-to-time such as the irish dancers that come around St. Patrick's Day (our oldest loves watching these dancers), or having animal handlers come in to show the kids and talk about different types of animals (like lizards). They care. The teachers and staff at Kids Bay care about the children. They have kindly provided feedback on behaviors they've observed which may or may not require attention, and they are willing to work with you to help support your child. Meals. Breakfast and snacks are included in the tuition. They offer lunch each day for an additional fee, and it's food the typical child will eat - nuggets, cheeseburger, corndogs, yakisoba noodles, pizza, etc. plus vegetables. Our oldest generally decides each day if he wants to eat what's offered that day or if he wants to bring lunch from home. Extra enrichment activity opportunities offered. While not included in the tuition, they partner with other parties to offer additional focused activities such as a dance class, sports days, and additional art classes. Our oldest has participated in the "sports day" since he was ~3 and it's one of his favorite days of the week. Monthly Parents Night Out. As a perk, the Kids Bay provides a monthly "parents night out" (that's included in the tuition) where you can drop your child off and go have a date night. While it seems like a little thing, we don't have nearby family to help watch the kids, and the thought of trying to find and vet a babysitter for our little ones was daunting. This was a wonderful perk for us - a date night where the babysitters are people both we and our kids know and trust. Summer Activities. They always have a great line-up of activities for the summer, and offer splash days later in the summer when it gets hot. Convenient hours. They offer convenient hours for our work schedules. Overall, we've had a great experience with Kids Bay and highly recommend them.

Legacy, it has a great security system in the school, with an easy drop off. The school campus is small and great for little ones . 2 to 3-year-olds and even up I think to 5th. I really love the teaching style that my kids have at Legacy Montessori. my daughter and my son attended for two years and kindergarten through second and 3rd-4th. The school teacher Friday is amazing, subject, including speech, intimate, and our favorite mandarin. this one for us to continue a passion for Mandarin and we still have those in Mandarin and now have a live-in aupair from China. The school snd teachers Teach, kindness, respect, and sharing. Really, many of the things most public schools do not take consideration off. Really, still to this day, I value and love that this school took the time to get to know each family, and each child individually. What we love most are the school's Christian-based story time, themed learning topics, and weekly sharing activities, which help build both character and a strong sense of community. Their summer program is one of the most family-friendly we've found--an excellent opportunity for families to experience the school and see if it's a good fit. Over the years, our child has gained a tremendous amount of knowledge and developed solid math and reading skills. We're especially touched by the dedication of the teachers, who gather at 7 a.m. to pray for the students and stay until 6 p.m. to care for them with genuine love and commitment.
