Over the years, we've made so many memories at chapel, performances, and family picnics. There's also such a strong sense of community among the families and staff. As a parent, I was apprehensive about leaving my child in someone else's care, but from day one I felt completely comfortable and confident that she was well taken care of. Every single teacher at CTCA exceeded our expectations. Each one brought their own unique strengths to the classroom, and our kids were genuinely loved and had good morals instilled in them along the way. I especially want to thank Ms. Becca. I was torn between the free TK option and investing in my daughter's education here, and I am so grateful I chose to keep her at this school. Ms. Becca sent her into Kindergarten with confidence, strong social skills, and -- most importantly -- a real academic foundation. To this day, my daughter still talks about things she learned in Ms. Becca's class, and she is currently performing above grade level in her academics. That speaks for itself. She is now 6 and remembers what her teachers (especially Ms. Becca) have taught her. She is comfortable with drawing and writing in kindergarten thanks to her well developed fine motor and gross motor skills during her time at this preschool. When she became a kindergartener in the public school system, she helped her friends with opening lunchboxes, was confident in using the restroom and setting appropriate boundaries in friendships. Our second daughter is now in Ms. Becca's class at this preschool and she couldn't be more excited. She had wonderful and caring teachers ( Ms. Mariah and Ms. Winnie) who helped her become comfortable with school. We are grateful to have found this school and to have stayed here over the years. They have a wonderful little playground, a beautiful garden, and most importantly, a deeply caring staff.

It is frustrating that the website still says 6-6 and they get mad at you for being there at 6:30 as if you were inconveniencing them. I talked to the director and she was rude.

It's such a sweet family feel that we love. The curriculum is great, my kids are always coming home telling me what they learned about that day and excited to show me their art. The teachers are so warm and friendly, my kids love them and my son's teacher Miss Ana connects with me often about his day and any concerns that we're partnering together on (because 3 year olds are tough ). I really appreciate that she cares and takes the time to connect with me on things she's noticing and how we can best support him. They also do fun things like pot lucks and even this morning my son woke up and excitedly told me it was potluck day. Can't recommend this school enough!

I also loved how secure the school is, with the director standing at the entrance every single day for pickup and drop off. We also started our youngest at 4 months old and it's the same teacher. While there has been some turnover, many of the teachers have remained over the years we've been there, though some may have switched between different age-group classrooms during that time. Great learning environment. The teachers do a wonderful job of providing age appropriate activities and learning. Our oldest qualified for TK this past year but we chose to keep him at Kids Bay due to the learning environment. We would have loved for him to take part in the Jr. Kindergarten program Kids Bay offered but we unfortunately were unable to do so. Even though he didn't take part in the Jr. Kindergarten program, he's still ready to start Kindergarten. We also love the extra presentations they have from time-to-time such as the irish dancers that come around St. Patrick's Day (our oldest loves watching these dancers), or having animal handlers come in to show the kids and talk about different types of animals (like lizards). They care. The teachers and staff at Kids Bay care about the children. They have kindly provided feedback on behaviors they've observed which may or may not require attention, and they are willing to work with you to help support your child. Meals. Breakfast and snacks are included in the tuition. They offer lunch each day for an additional fee, and it's food the typical child will eat - nuggets, cheeseburger, corndogs, yakisoba noodles, pizza, etc. plus vegetables. Our oldest generally decides each day if he wants to eat what's offered that day or if he wants to bring lunch from home. Extra enrichment activity opportunities offered. While not included in the tuition, they partner with other parties to offer additional focused activities such as a dance class, sports days, and additional art classes. Our oldest has participated in the "sports day" since he was ~3 and it's one of his favorite days of the week. Monthly Parents Night Out. As a perk, the Kids Bay provides a monthly "parents night out" (that's included in the tuition) where you can drop your child off and go have a date night. While it seems like a little thing, we don't have nearby family to help watch the kids, and the thought of trying to find and vet a babysitter for our little ones was daunting. This was a wonderful perk for us - a date night where the babysitters are people both we and our kids know and trust. Summer Activities. They always have a great line-up of activities for the summer, and offer splash days later in the summer when it gets hot. Convenient hours. They offer convenient hours for our work schedules. I really love the teaching style that my kids have at Legacy Montessori. my daughter and my son attended for two years and kindergarten through second and 3rd-4th. The school teacher Friday is amazing, subject, including speech, intimate, and our favorite mandarin. this one for us to continue a passion for Mandarin and we still have those in Mandarin and now have a live-in aupair from China. The school snd teachers Teach, kindness, respect, and sharing. Really, many of the things most public schools do not take consideration off. Really, still to this day, I value and love that this school took the time to get to know each family, and each child individually. We moved our child recently from another school to Lifetime after wanting more structure in an…read moreacademic setting, balanced with group play and exploration. Every child and family have different needs and it was important that we found teachers and an administration that was willing to partner with us to address any concerns and proactively work together to find solutions. We have been very impressed with the leadership, admin and teachers' transparency, accountability and communication. So many schools can feel like a corporate profit driven endeavor and we have observed that Lifetime cares deeply about children development and curating their interests. A simple example is that we asked that our child be allowed to observe the classroom Montessori 'work' session in action before making a decision to enroll her formally (this would be the first time our child would observe a Montessori class in person).The school year had already started and the Director, Kristin, asked that we hold off until the second or third week of school so that she could support the teachers to protect the integrity of what they were trying to establish in the new classroom on the first week of school without creating a distraction. She could have easily agreed to allow us to observe sooner so we could enroll earlier (other schools did), etc... it's through small actions and decisions that we felt comfortable placing our child there with a team of educators and admin that truly put the children's wellbeing and needs first. They also have set up a system of room parents that are very helpful to guide fellow parents with onboarding, external play dates and organizing events. There is no perfect childcare or school, but at the end of the day, we chose Lifetime because we are confident that the whole team works together to communicate openly and will partner together to honor what's best for our child. It's also a great sign when the teachers choose to coteach together for multiple years, clearly, they are enjoying it :). Thanks to the whole team for putting in their efforts to create a space for children to explore, learn and play!
