Great fresh lunch menu. Called in an order, walked up from beach and it was ready in about 10 minutes. Perfect for lunch on the beach!

So so delicious! The gumbo and hush puppies were a favorite for sure! They also sell a pint of oysters that we added as well and it was perfect!

Passed this place a couple of times while on our way to our casa by the sea. Hubby wanted to stop and we were all glad he suggested it. Fresh and frozen seafood to cook yourself, take home or eat right there. We grabbed a cup of gumbo, fried shrimp with a side of grits and mahi mahi sandwich. Everyone was very satisfied with their meal and par for the course we all shared bites so everyone could get a taste! 6 thumbs up from the K Krew. I'm sure this will be on the list to "hit again" before we depart for home to our landlocked, frozen tundra.

The food was delicious! I'm only giving 4 stars because of the weird hours. We tried to get a fish sandwich the other day, and we were told the fryers are turned off at 4:00 each day. It would be nice if they offered more options in the evenings since they are open. However, they do advertise as a lunch spot, so it's understandable. They also have small souvenir shop inside!

We also went home with fresh shrimp at an excellent price and they steamed them for us using their special seasoning!

Indian Pass Raw Bar offers a wonderfully unique dining experience!…read more Although oysters are their specialty, I don't really do oysters, so I chose two seafood dishes that still reflected the region. The seafood gumbo was thick, hearty and filled with shrimp, okra and rice. The rice was hidden underneath, and once I discovered it and stirred everything together, the gumbo tasted great. The stuffed shrimp were excellent, and the generous stuffing on top was outstanding. They arrived in plenty of melted butter with a thick slice of what appeared to be Texas toast. They were definitely the highlight of my meal. The ordering system is unusual but works well. Everyone at the table marks their selections on one paper sheet, and the plates come out individually as they are ready. Bottled sodas, bags of chips and similar items are self-serve and tracked through the restaurant's honor system. It may appear somewhat chaotic at first, but it's part of the experience. We waited approximately 15 minutes for a table. The place was packed, and it was only Tuesday! The service was fine, the prices were reasonable, and two people in our group said their crab legs were excellent. The outdoor stage honors former owner James T. McNeill III, known as Jimmie Mac, who loved music and dreamed of creating a place where people could gather. That history gives the restaurant even more character. Indian Pass Raw Bar is casual, distinctive and unlike any conventional restaurant. I'm glad we experienced it and highly recommend giving it a try. It's a road side raw bar. It's a locals favorite. Check which oysters are served before ordering…read moreraw; I do not recommend Louisiana oysters as they're large, but not as tasty as Apalachicola. It's messy and casual. The servers are friendly and the beers are served with an honesty policy (track how many drinks you enjoy honestly). I absolutely love their stuffed shrimp! This was my granddad's favorite place in the area and I agree. It's a must try!
