So today we had a problem with our kitchen sink. It was clogged up and we couldn't get it to…read moredrain. We called AAA Plumbing Company to come out and see if they could fix the problem. We were told over the phone that there would be a $50 service fee charge. If the problem was fixed, this would go towards the balance of the work done. We'll we were told that if the line was frozen and they had to use their heater to see if that would open the line it would be a fee od $200 and if they had to rod out the line that would be a fee total of $300. So after trying the heater, that did nothing. They even had us boil a huge pot of water and tea kettle of water to pour down the drain and to no avail, NOTHING!!!! This was done more than once. Then they had my husband go outside to the garage to get some salt he uses for the sidewalk to put down the drain to see if that would work....again, NOTHING!!! So next they try rodding it out with their rod and it only went so far in because they said our pipes were frozen and they couldn't go down any farther, considering the little rod they had. After about an hour, they told us that there was a possibility that our pipes had burst under ground or that they were frozen need to say we have running water and no other issues other than the clogged kitchen sink. So they wrapped up their equipment and Jeremiah wrote us up a bill totaling $200 and he said he was giving us a discount!!! Jeremiah said the service job they did was $300 and he was giving us a discount.....needless to say, we still have a clogged sink with more water in it than when they started Well we ended up paying for the service charge, $50 and Jeremiah charged us another $10 he said to process our credit card, which I don't believe was true, so we ended up having to pay $60 for them coming out and leaving it worse than it was before they got to my house. We will NEVER recommend or use AAA Plumbing Company for any type of services.

It was Monday of this week (Christmas) and we called our realtor who highly recommended Associated Sewer & Plumbing. We had made calls to other plumbers in the area and had zero luck. Several had said they couldn't help until the following week. We had no useable toilets and this was not a good answer. So we waited for Joe and his son to arrive and they were true to their word and showed up by 3pm. They were so nice and we anxiously awaited as they assessed the problem. Bam! Within 45 minutes they rodded out the lines and they also had pulled out huge tree roots! When they were finished we were so happy they helped us. They even went out of their service area because they knew we had just moved from out of state and didn't want us to be stuck during a holiday. The technician Steve who came out was friendly and knowledgeable and seemed to know exactly what needed to be done. I even asked Steve if he thought it was a major job and he said no. A couple days later I get an email from Bob (who I assume is the owner or higher up person) trying to completely upsell me. He said he thinks the whole system should be completely re-piped despite the system currently working fine and Steve not mentioning this at all. He also said he was only interested in giving me a quote if I wanted to go the re-piping route and outright refused to give me a quote for just the panel install.
