I had a very disappointing experience with this medical facility. The reception staff failed to perform basic due diligence when processing my request. Rather than proactively contacting the requesting medical provider to obtain a copy of the patient's order, they placed the burden entirely on the patient, causing unnecessary delays and frustration. Effective communication and coordination between providers are essential in healthcare, and unfortunately this facility fell short in that regard. I hope management addresses these issues and provides additional training to ensure patients receive the level of service and support they deserve. read more

BEWARE... I wish I could give a minus 5! I went for a five minute bone density test at the Women's Imaging Center and then received a St. Joesph's Medical Center facility charge of $250. I believed this was just a billing error and proceeded to contact the billing department to resolve the issue. After months of getting the run around; call the facility, call the billing department, call your insurance, today I was told that the bill is correct and even though I had the X-ray done at the imaging center that all of the machines they use are purchased and supplied to the imaging centers by the Medical Center and that is why the billing is done with the location listed as the medical center. As you enter the reception area, you hardly see a person at one of the three windows. Once you hand over your insurance and ID card, it takes them about 15 minutes before they call you to sign on a digital pad without seeing what signing for. You have to wait another half an hour even after completing this registration process to be called in for the imaging. The seats in the waiting area are dirty and stained. When calling to schedule an appointment for my mother in law, the lady on the phone named marife was extremely short and rude! Also, my mother in law is Muslim and we do not appreciate her pushing her religion on us at all!!! Respect other religions please and be respectful. read more

forced me to pay for bone scan even though this procedure was covered by insurance by threatening to send my 818.00 to collections. 3 days after I pd the bill insurance pd them also. procedure was performed 10 months ago and they still will not reimburse me. feeling some dishonesty with this facility and will not use them in the future. It was time to set my appointment. I received a letter saying it was time. It gave a telephone # and website. I called every number I could find for them left messages and to this day I have yet to receive a call back. There website is not working. I have since made an appointment with advanced imaging in Lodi. They helped me immediately. read more

Very difficult to make an appointment here! The line is busy or just keeps ringing forwarding calls to a voice mail. I left a message and someone did call back hours later, but of course now I was not available, so kept playing phone tag with place and it very frustrating! Management needs to seriously need to do something about this like get a better system and get rid of these schedulers and invest in an online system for patients to schedule appointments online. So maybe in this way patients can really get early screening and are not discouraged to go to important testing. read more

I had my annual mammogram at St. Josephs Women's Imaging Center. I have always had my mammograms at this facility. I received a recall letter for additional tests. I called the facility to schedule the additional tests and was told that the earliest date would be the end of March. My mammogram was on 2-8-24. They expect me to wait until the end of March for additional care. The rude woman who answered the phone, said that an ultrasound tech was going to be on vacation for 1 week, so it was backing things up. She stated that they had 50 recalls recently and she was still trying to schedule recalls for patients from early January. I told her I thought that was horrible care and unacceptable to make patients wait so long for a recall. She said yes it was, but there was nothing that could be done about it. Do not trust your breast healthcare to this facility. read more

After calling several times for the past two weeks and never receiving a call in return, I finally left a message detailing the number of times I've called and to please call back. A woman calls back and after identifying herself literally asks me 'What do you want". I explain that I need a mammogram and I can't even get that sentence out before she's talking over me asking for my name. I tell her and say that a referral has been faxed over, but before I get that out she's repeating "we don't have it, we don't have it". I said I have confirmation from my doctor's office that it was sent. Twice. So she interrupts that with "we don't have it, we don't have it", again, so I asked her to please stop being rude and talking over me, so she promptly hung up on me. What has happened to this place??? They used to be so welcoming and kind but this woman was unreal. Healthcare isn't about the patient anymore and this establishment has proven that point quite well. read more

I can't seem to connect with the office to get my yearly mammogram appointment. I have tried several times and left my name and number. I don't know if they try to return my call or not; no message is left if they have. All I know is that it wastes a lot of my time just to arrange the appointment. On the letter to make the appointment, a link is given to schedule it at a website; I tried that and it didn't work for me either. I could get in my car and drive over there but it is clear across town. Once, I called St. Joseph's Hospital Administration and complained and finally received a call. I have no complaints once the appointment is set up. The staff has always been friendly, courteous and professional. The problem is just with the initial contact.to get the appointment. If that were solved by the powers that be, I would give a 5-star rating. read more

I've been coming here since 2009. This year I was referred to a surgeon, Dr Rick Rawson for biopsies. After meeting with Dr Rawson, I had a sick feeling in my stomach. I decided to request a 2nd opinion through Stanford. Stanford reviewed all my images going back to 2009. I was informed the areas St Josephs Womens imaging wanted biopsied had been there for 6 years completely unchanged. I should have been sent for biopsies 6 years ago!! Luckily since they haven't changed they can safely say they are benign. I almost let a surgeon butcher me for no reason. Needless to say I'll be sticking with Stanford from now on. The extra drive is worth the peace of mind. read more

This place has horrible service their medical assistants they have there do not know how to get things done in a timely manner they lie and tell you their waiting on orders from your Doctors offices and other imaging places and when you actually call the other offices they have already been sent. They do not provide excellent health care like dignity health promotes and they play with peoples lives when the MA's and radiologist take several days to review films of peoples breasts in order to determine if cancer is showing and even longer to get patients appointments to perform mammograms and biopsy's, time, accuracy and concern should be their number one goal when working in the healthcare field but clearly at this place that is not the case. I would never return to this place their negligence is criminal and a law suit waiting to happen. read more

Came here with my mother for her 2pm appointment for a mammogram. Lady let 2 people in before us and tried to say the doctor wrote the wrong prescription. I clearly heard the receptionist tell the doctor she forgot to put the forms in the folder. Like how can you forget??? There was only like 3 fucking patients waiting in the wait room. They said they took my blue cross (regular not covered cal) and now I got a bill saying they bill that ins but aren't actually preferred providers so they are out of my network and now I have to pay for what should have been a free Mamogram. Staff was nice but I feel I was mislead. Buyer beware you also have to make sure the dr that reads the test is on your peri dr panel. Pricey lesson call your insurance to check because "yes we take blue cross" does not mean what you think it does. read more
