Posted a comment and was asked to send a private message. I am so glad I did. The Macarons I ordered were St Patty's day themed. Lucky charms cereal, Shamrock Shake and Baileys Irish creme! Too die for flavors! The cookie part perfectly baked, the creme filling inside is out of this world flavored! I also order their special box. It is a heart filled chocolate box filled with chocolate and or candy. Hot cocoa bombs (choices of dark, milk or white chocolate) and chocolate dipped strawberries! Which are huge by the way and just as delicious! The best part about this entire thing is I am Gluten free, they double checked the chocolate to verify it was GF! Part of the tea service includes a tea pot of your own choice, one of the entrees which includes quiche, ham sandwich, or strawberry salad, as well as some dessert. Dessert includes a madeline cookie, macaroon flavor of choice, and mini lemon scone. Overall, we were very happy with our Tea service ($36 per person) including an entree, desserts and tea pot. We found ourselves to be satisfied with the quantity and quality especially for the price. But now that I know they're in Salem, I'll be visiting very soon! The macarons were front and center in the booth, and I kept goggling at how beautiful they were. They are slightly larger macarons with generous fillings and bejeweled shells ($3.75 each). I asked the person manning the booth what her favorites were (sugar cookie and cookie dough), but I still had trouble deciding which to try, there were so many unique flavors. She was very helpful though. Macarons are generally gluten free, but some flavors had cookie or cake crumbs and were labeled as containing gluten (fyi all served in the same case). These macarons were certainly not dairy free, but I decided to try them anyways; they were way too tempting. The Tall Man and I ended up getting a guava and a gingerbread macaron. His dad got a pistachio and a cosmic brownie (typical brownie vs the peppermint version). If I had known he was going to get some, it would have made more sense to get a half dozen. Macarons aren't cheap cookies, but they were certainly worth it. The guava was the plainest in appearance and taste. It wasn't decorated, and only the shell was flavored not the cream; it was too subtle and could have used a jam. The gingerbread was my favorite of our choices, spicy and not overly sweet with a nice textural crunch with the mini gingerbread sprinkles. The cosmic brownie had fun chunky sprinkles and a very fudgy texture, which was more brownie than macaron like (probably intentionally), but the taste was like a typical brownie so I would get something different next time. I didn't get to try the pistachio, but my father in law enjoyed it, and he doesn't even like cookies. Everything on display was beautifully fun to look at. I was also intrigued by their hot chocolate bombs and cake jars, but more as eye candy since they were full of gluten and dairy (but would make for great gifts!).

I drove five minutes back home and looked at the cake- no ariel and 2 of the mermaid tales on the cake were broken in half. i called the shop and she tried to tell me "your husband called and said he didn't want ariel on the cake". My husband didn't even know where i got the cake so i knew this was a lie. after almost 3 weeks of calling, emailing, messaging on instagram and commenting on fb post, i received an email from jamie stating she was "checking in". i emailed back asking for her to please call me and once again gave my phone number and still have yet to hear back. this is the worst customer service i have ever dealt with. would not recommend love and flour after spending almost $300 on a cake and dealing with all of this unnecessary stress.

A small family apple orchard, it prides itself on organic produce and low spray apples. The also have unpasteurized apple cider which for me, is the best and the most flavorful. As it was late in the season, we picked our own bag from off the tree's and the ground for a bargain of .50cents a pound. We also got gallon of cider. I also spied produce,homemade pies, cookies, and preserves. I loved how they used an old scale to weigh the apples. So cool! This is a special place, and reminded me of my childhood in Vermont when I used to go to the local cider mill where all the locals and yellow jackets gathered.
