Update! 2 years later and here we are with a hair in the food. This Panera has been in a steady decline it seems like.

"Creamy" chicken and wild rice soup

Placed an order on their app to take home. My sandwich was fine but looked like it was slapped together without much thought. The issue was the creamy chicken and wild rice soup. It was liquid and maybe one tablespoon of chicken and rice. Called up to let them know to check their soup since something was wrong. The person on the phone was more interested in defending the watery soup than apologizing and making things right. Their loss.

Ok, I've been coming to this location since it opened. Yes, the food is still mostly yummy. However the customer service as a whole has declined!! Last week they forgot my bread side, today my grilled cheese is barely toasted!! Ugh!!!

Most of their food is great but the last 2 times I went in my order from the drive thru was wrong. I wish they still had the Sierra turkey!

What really stood out to me was the service we received! I really appreciated not being rushed through our meal. The fact that they actually let you order your courses separately so they're not coming out on top of each other was refreshing. And even though it was a Friday night and there were others waiting to get in we weren't rushed to pay our bill but instead invited to take our time. We hadn't seen or heard much about their pizzas, but we were in the mood for one and decided to order the meat pizza. It was made in a brick oven and it was really tasty. Honestly there were so many toppings that we ended up asking for an extra cup of the marinara sauce to dip it in. The sauce is made in house, it was delicious and the waitress said it's the same one that's used with the spaghetti and meatballs. In regard to the pizza size even though they're considered personal pizzas it was definitely bigger than we were anticipating. I would say they're close to 11 to 12 inches in diameter. My husband and I each enjoyed two pieces with our salad and took the other half home with us. They are definitely big enough to share, especially if you're ordering an appetizer or a salad to go with it. Our group very much enjoyed the artichoke spinach dip. It came with bread that had been cooked in their brick oven and I love that the spinach was in bigger pieces. My husband, and I also shared the harvest salad which had butternut squash on it, candied pecans & goat cheese. It was really yummy. Others in our group enjoyed the salmon and the crispy chicken sandwich. I had recently seen on a local Jefferson County page that many people consider Twisted Tavern the best place for a good piece of cake specifically, their wedding cake . Truth is that was the primary reason why I suggested this restaurant to meet our friends at but sadly by the time we finished our meal and were ready to order dessert they had already sold out. We were told this does not usually happen. Overall, we found tasty fresh food made in house, great service and fair prices. I am already planning another visit to the Twisted Tavern (so I can try their wedding cake! ).

The hash browns were under cooked and had the texture of lumpy mashed potatoes and the bacon was virtually raw. My meal was not any better. I ordered a chili cheese burger with fries. What I got was a plate full of what tasted like 3 day old chili with a small bun right in the middle of the plate. When I dug through the chili to find the burger I found one that was paper thin with the texture of a piece of soggy cardboard. I don't know if there was any fries under all that chili. It tasted terrible, there was no cheese anywhere. The restaurant looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for weeks. The waitress/ cashier was rude and obnoxious. The cook was a mess and probably never learned how to cook. Never again

Needless to say this 1/2 chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy and mixed vegetables and chef salad was absolutely not the answer. Another sandwich was also ordered which we didn't receive. But there was no charge for it. She charged for another Asiago bagel which we didn't order and didn't receive it but which we paid for. So when I called I initially received the opportunity to come back and gat a different sandwich which doesn't have avocado or tomato. That is exactly what I want. I want the opportunity to go back to a restaurant which I just left because I got their order wrong. That is not exactly making things right in my opinion. Then I got the opportunity to have the asiago bagel taken off of my card. Once again I would have to go there to have it taken off my card. So driving an additional round-trip trip to get an asiago bagel taken off for their error. Then finally I was offered a free you pick two on my rewards. It seemed the only reasonable suggestion so that is what I went with. However, I will not be going back to this Panera. In essence we paid over $29 for two coffees and two danishes and a sandwich that was completely wrong, which will not be eaten. The $29 also includes the charge for the Asiago bagel which we didn't order and didn't receive. My husband told them yo go to the grocery store on the same parking lot for tomato's and avocados and they said they couldn't.

There is a large parking lot, which makes visiting convenient. The interior has more of a bar atmosphere and could use a few updates, but it was comfortable.
