St.Louis Bread Co. deserves a higher overall rating than 2.5 stars due to people just being angry about food or service because I'm sure these people have never worked in a restaurant in their lives. The point is: They have some of the BEST COFFEE you can get within 50 miles of Arnold. I am a coffee freak and I'm very picky, so, that being said, don't pay attention to people who give them less than 3 stars - and get you some AWESOME COFFEE! read more

Went there recently and the food was really good! We came in around 10:15 and they hadn't changed to the lunch menu yet but we were told we could still order off the lunch menu. The tables and chairs did need a wipe down but I did see a worker wiping down tables after we sat. read more

We love Paneras (st Louis Bread Co). The salads have really improved and they have added a yummy selection of sandwiches. I wish they'd bring back the ham and Swiss sandwich. It was simple but delicious with the special mustard sauce. read more

We ordered through the Panera app for delivery. Upon receiving our food, we were missing the French baguettes for our soup. We did not receive any. My husband ordered a southwest CHICKEN salad, and there was no chicken in his salad. My daughter ordered a Caesar salad and was only given barely half a cup of dressing for her entire salad. My bowl of soup was only half full. Huge disappointment considering the prices for the food. So I called the store and asked to speak with a manager. She said, "well, the best I can do is a refund or a free you pick 2 voucher." I asked for a full refund said, "yep sorry about that, have a good night." Did not offer to have the missing items re-delivered to us or for us to come pick it up and she really needs to work on her customer service voice. I will not be coming back here! read more

The food is fine but there is the one cook/food put togetherer that is always stressed to the max frazzle dazzle that makes the experience less then what it should be... gets so bent over backwards when you talk to her or ask for a fork. Placed an order on their app to take home. My sandwich was fine but looked like it was slapped together without much thought. The issue was the creamy chicken and wild rice soup. It was liquid and maybe one tablespoon of chicken and rice. Called up to let them know to check their soup since something was wrong. We ordered a pick up order on the website. We ordered 3 different pick 2s with soups, sandwiches, mac n cheese, and a flatbread pizza. The food was ready when we arrived at the restaurant. When we got it home, everything was hot except the flatbread pizza. That needed to be warmed up again. The food was plentiful and delicious. There were no complaints from the kids and we enjoyed the meal while watching a movie. We will continue to visit this store as our usual Bread Co. read more

Every time I order takeout something is missing when I get home. Six times in a row someones meal was missing. I decided to order bagels Tuesday. They notified me that my order was ready. I just tried to have dinner here. It's 6 pm on a weeknight, and there's one guy doing the register and the bakery. So there's three groups of people waiting to order while the guy slices a dozen assorted bagels for someone. He leaves, and Bread Co guy starts taking the first order. A girl wanders out of the back and takes the next customer, who proceeds to order $50 worth of food(all while consulting her phone and asking questions). Oh well..at least the line will move now. My wife and kids love coming to the bread co., and this location used to be our favorite. It started at the drive thru, where we asked to substitute one baguette instead of chips. Standard, right? Except they replaced ALL of them. No big deal, mistakes happen. We drive off, had to turn around because they forgot to put our Demi loaf in the bag. Granted, they offered me a free pastry for my trouble, but I politely declined. After all, accidents happen. We get home and that's where the trouble begins. Our Greek salad has chicken in it. One big chunk. I asked for no onions on all of our sandwiches. Repeated it three times. Saw it on the screen and on my receipt. So the fact there was an onion garden growing out of our sandwiches tells you that they either ignored or didn't care. On 9/23/22 I ordered breakfast to be delivered thru a delivery service. The delivery service did not bring my food for almost 2 hours. NOT Paneras fault. I called the delivery company and they said I need to talk to Panera because I ordered from their website. I did and they said they were refunding the order because the food was disgusting. I called a few days later and talked to Elyse, the manager. She was very nice, gave me a number to call and asked for my address. She said she was putting coupons in the mail for two free U pick two meals for the aggravation. Panera's corporate office was useless and told me to call my bank. They did not tell me they canceled the order so there would be no refund. Would have saved some time. I also never received any coupons. I have not been back to Panera and I will not go back to Panera or use the delivery service. I love Bread Co. Seriously--I could eat there multiple times a week if I were made of money. I stopped by this one to pick up breakfast on a road trip. The feta and tomato souffle was tasty, as always. But I got a hot tea and I was taken aback at how bad it was. It was clear that the hot water carafe had been used for coffee at some point in time--coffee permeates, so even if it had been cleaned well, the odor and flavor still leached into the hot water.
