Steak Sandwich with side upgraded to baked potato
    Shirley D.

I can't believe we just found out about this place. Two sides: Dining and bar. We went on a Friday at 5:30 and were seated right away in the dining area. A little later and we may of had had to wait. Menu is extensive with burgers, sandwiches, pizza and entrees. I ordered the No Where Burger which comes with fries. Homemade burger cooked to your preference with cooked spinach, caramelized onions and garlic aioli. Hit the spot! My husband had the steak sandwich and upgraded his side to a baked potato. He also enjoyed his selection. Now the reason for the 4 stars. We had the ditsiest waitress we've ever experienced. We asked about the 20% discount advertised on the table...she just smiled and nodded. We just couldn't seem to communicate with her. My husband even thought she may be hearing impaired because she didn't respond to a word we said or questions asked. At the end when she brought the bill, we asked if we pay up front. She answered yes so we proceeded to the front only to find out we pay her. By the time we walked back to the table the bus boy was clearing the table. We had to ask if we could have the table back so we can pay. Hope next time we get someone else...then this place will earn the 5 stars it deserves!

To begin, we learned about Nowhere food and drinks from 'Wing Ding' a wing competition we attended and were blown away by Nowhere wings! So when we were out in the area, of course we had to stop by and see if they still lived up to the hype. Our expectations were met when we got to sit outside with the dogs, kick back with a cold drink, and have some good wings and other food. We got wings, shrimp, and the squash on the side. Loved the shrimp, they had excellent flavor, I almost wish they gave you more bread because one piece of small bread wasn't enough to accompany an entire plate of shrimp. The wings were as good as we remembered. The squash was something we would not order again lol, it was on recommendation from our waitress and just not our vibe. The menu has a nice offering of food and drink, you won't be disappointed by stopping here! Hope to be back soon :)

First time trying out NoWhere.... We had tried their wings at the Wing Ding so we went to see what else they had. I ordered their wings with the Hot Mustard sauce and the Chef Salad with Ranch. Highly recommend both.... The salad had Pickled onions and an Olive Tampenad. Totally works!! So yummy!!! The Beef Sandwich was also good but get the Girdaneira on the side... it's a bit spicy. The Build your own Pasta is another good option!!! Service was good and it's a cute bar atmosphere.

When you walk in and ask for a table the hostess will ask if you want to sit on the bar side or dining room side. We sat on the dining room side. I ordered the Build Your Own Burger cooked medium well with cheddar cheese and french fries. The burger arrived hot but the french fries did not. Not good! The burger was cooked perfectly. I would have liked for the meat to have more seasoning to elevate the flavor. Please turn up the heat on the warmer for the fries. Service was normal. Our server seemed new. The vibe of the restaurant was low energy and very chill.

Second visit and everything was delicious. We ate the apps before getting pictures. We tried the hot honey fish and no where garlic cheese bread. Delicious. Service was great. Today's special was lasagna with Ceasars salad. Hubby Got the buffalo chicken pizza and added hot honey on it. Love this place!!

I've dined at Nowhere Restaurant in Arnold three times already since it opened a few months ago and enjoy it a lot. I'm still not sure if it's as good as its predecessor in that location that relocated that's Local House Bar & Grill but has the same ambience and similar menu. Nowhere is very good still and I'll return to it for sure especially since it's close by me. On my first visit I ordered their Goodfella pizza that was very good with a side salad and a berry vinaigrette and was delish. On another visit there for lunch, I had the steak sandwich that was like a Philly cheesesteak in that it was chopped and served with onions and peppers and really good, cheesy and came with crispy and delicious fries. Then the third meal I had at Nowhere was the chicken modiga entree that I ordered with a side of pasta that was also good but the meal wasn't a very big portion but I was able to get by although I have a big appetite. The service was really slow right after the restaurant's grand opening that I almost walked out waiting to order but held on and was given a beer for my long wait. But service had improved significantly by my last visit, although it was still a pretty long wait for our food during that last meal there on a somewhat busy night. Decided not to drop them down a star for long waits since they're really nice, hard-working, and trying hard.

My Aunt & I hadn't been out to eat in quite a few months. She lives in this area so I let her pick the restaurant and we decided on this place. I just recently moved back to the STL area, and this wasn't here pre-Covid. We sat on the patio so we could enjoy the breezy, almost Autumn weather. The patio is... okay, but could use some work. The chairs are extremely painful (metal) and there's a ton of flies and sweat-bees outside. The service could also use help, our waitress was friendly but was rarely seen. The food was a bit better than the atmosphere & service. I got the Shrimp Po' Boy. It was pretty decent, the shrimp was crispy, the bread was sweet and soft, and there was a nice remoulade sauce on top. My Aunt really enjoyed her Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich and fries. Our only complaint was that everything was very greasy. Would I come back? Probably not anytime soon, but it's nice to see a halfway decent joint in this, very much landlocked, area.

I have been here several times before, but this is the first time I have gotten a burger here. This is the best ground beef burger I've had at a restaurant! (Mac Stellar burger) It's going to be difficult ordering anything else now. Although I didn't get them this time, the fried cheese appetizer is always a great choice, as are the fried canneloni bites.

Shout out to Belle for showing us around the menu for our first visit and for pointing us in the right direction! We will be back.

Squash, yes this is the "side order" that's exactly how it came. Also drenched in grease.

Last night, we ordered for takeout, and unfortunately, the food was not up to par. My boyfriend opted for the pastrami sandwich, which was passable but not exceptional. For his side, he chose the squash, which were utterly disappointing (see photo). They were drenched in grease, to the point where we jokingly suggested they were kept under the drip tray of all the other fried foods. I, on the other hand, ordered the Cajun chicken pasta. While it had a decent flavor, it appeared to be old and, once again, swimming in grease. I tried absorbing some of the excess grease with napkins, to no avail. I managed to finish four bites. To add insult to injury, the pasta was supposed to come with a salad, but it was nowhere to be found in the bag.

After apple butter festival on way home, stopped at Nowhere Food. It's more like sports bar and grill. They have several TVs. I like it since it's Sunday football. My daughter ordered shrimp pesto pasta with broccoli. She said it was good. I ordered chicken pesto pasta with dried tomatoes. It was delicious. Yes I'd come again for Sunday football. Thanks

Hidden gem! Food and service were excellent. I've been craving their STL/Italian beef sandwich ever since.

We recently came here for the second time and met some friends for dinner. It was their first time…read moreeating at the Twisted Tavern. Everything our group ordered was delicious! What really stood out to me was the service we received! I really appreciated not being rushed through our meal. The fact that they actually let you order your courses separately so they're not coming out on top of each other was refreshing. And even though it was a Friday night and there were others waiting to get in we weren't rushed to pay our bill but instead invited to take our time. We hadn't seen or heard much about their pizzas, but we were in the mood for one and decided to order the meat pizza. It was made in a brick oven and it was really tasty. Honestly there were so many toppings that we ended up asking for an extra cup of the marinara sauce to dip it in. The sauce is made in house, it was delicious and the waitress said it's the same one that's used with the spaghetti and meatballs. In regard to the pizza size even though they're considered personal pizzas it was definitely bigger than we were anticipating. I would say they're close to 11 to 12 inches in diameter. My husband and I each enjoyed two pieces with our salad and took the other half home with us. They are definitely big enough to share, especially if you're ordering an appetizer or a salad to go with it. Our group very much enjoyed the artichoke spinach dip. It came with bread that had been cooked in their brick oven and I love that the spinach was in bigger pieces. My husband, and I also shared the harvest salad which had butternut squash on it, candied pecans & goat cheese. It was really yummy. Others in our group enjoyed the salmon and the crispy chicken sandwich. I had recently seen on a local Jefferson County page that many people consider Twisted Tavern the best place for a good piece of cake specifically, their wedding cake . Truth is that was the primary reason why I suggested this restaurant to meet our friends at but sadly by the time we finished our meal and were ready to order dessert they had already sold out. We were told this does not usually happen. Overall, we found tasty fresh food made in house, great service and fair prices. I am already planning another visit to the Twisted Tavern (so I can try their wedding cake! ).

Went in to the bar for late night drinks & apps. Our…read moreserver, Sarah, was amazing. Drink refills appeared like magic. Never once did our table if 10 have to ask for a refill. We ordered apps. Spinach dip, onion rings, fried pickles, Brussel sprouts, and aside of spaghetti. The brussels sprouts were nicely fried, a little greasy. The fried pickles were lightly breaded, but very salty. The side of spaghetti was large enough to be a full serving. Wasn't overly impressed with the food, but the service here was top-notch.
