Hmm, I found it interesting. it reminded me of air popped spinach that was very light and crunchy without a lot of taste. I believe I burned calories of the spinach just by chewing it! I encourage people to try it, just because it is so different. It makes a beautiful presentation. The steak was pretty good and the vegetable medley was delicious along with the salad. The next time I go, I will order the vegetables and the salad and try the toasted raviolis as an appetizer. The drive to Hawthorne Inn is beautiful from Eureka. Drive slowly and enjoy the serenity of the farms and beautiful homes along the way.

Both were very good. The enchilada verde sauce was really tasty complimented the meat and cheese well. The camarones à la diabla was also delicious, and not overwhelmingly spicy.
