My dad died in 2024 and now the nursing home is trying to sue me for his bill from before medicaid kicked in. They had me sign an admission agreement as a qualified representative and they Made me the power of attorney and I had no clue even what was going on. The people that work there are amazing the nurses the care AIDS but the actual nursing home themselves are not honest and now they're trying to make me pay for my dad's care from when he didn't have coverage my dad has nothing no estate nothing either do I. Whatever you do do not sign the Admission agreement.

I brought it to him for Christmas present , but when he was discharged the tablet was gone. He told employee that it was gone, no report was made. I called several times and no return calls. Finally spoke with Michelle a staff member in charge of these things... she needed a receipt of the item. Because I could not produce receipt she said they couldn't do anything about it. Very frustrating! At this point i don't even care about the reimbursement, it's the principle that staff took advantage of my uncle and figured since he was elderly it would be pushed under the rug and forgotten. I would not recommend seneca hill to anyone. Never even got an apology or nothing . Just ....oh well!

I have needed to go to the Oswego ER 3 times in the last 3 months - only because urgent care was…read morenot open at that time. Every time I was treated well by nursing and administrative staff and see that they have a lot to deal with, as every time I've been there has been police bringing in unruly people, some drunk, etc. They have a lot to deal with and do a great job! I was not so impressed with the doctor I saw on the first visit. He basically laughed at me wondering why I thought I might have a blood clot and then went on to laugh at me for taking vitamins and supplements and said I was wasting my money. Ummm...mind your own business? The second time I saw an NP, who was professional and took care of the issue. The third time a saw a PA who pretty much dismissed what I was there for and did not address the issue. Thankfully I was able to see my doctor shortly after that who did scan the area to see what was actually going on. So a mixed bag when it comes to doctors/NP's/PA's. It's not like I like to be at the ER late at night when I could be in bed at home. I went because I felt like I actually had an issue. Additionally, I'm self-pay. So if it was nothing I would obviously wait to see my doctor for $100 rather than go to the ER at least $1000 a pop every time I go.

Oswego Health billing department is totally inept to the point of being possibly criminal…read more I have spent way, way too much time over the past 4-5 years dealing with them for incorrect billing and co-payments. I have also contacted my insurance company several times during this period of time and it has always been the fault of Oswego Health billing. Over the past 5 years I have spoken with the Oswego Health billing Reps dozens of times. I have asked for a supervisor callback most of those times, and the billing rep has always assured me that I would be receiving a callback. I have never received a supervisor callback, even though the reps verify my contact number during our conversation. A few years ago I had called the Oswego Health billing department over another one of their coding errors. The procedure was supposed to be fully covered by my insurance with ZERO copay, but I received another bill from Oswego Health for a co-payment. When I explained to the rep that they have made another error, the rep told me to ignore that bill that I received and they have elevated it to the supervisor to resolve. I believed everything was resolved, since I wasn't receiving a phone call or any other contact... But, months later I received a terse final notice in the mail saying that my account would be sent to collections if I do not pay immediately. I contacted the OH billing department again, explained what is going on and that I need a supervisor to call me ASAP. I never received a supervisor callback... Surprised! I was not. So I called them back again and another rep assured me that this final notice is "under review" and for me to not worry about it. That's about the best you can expect from this department. The only way for me to know if any of these issues are being resolved is to call monthly to see if there is an outstanding balance on my account, since OH billing leaves you totally in the dark. So the bill that has been "under review" for over a year has finally dropped off of my account balance, but I have a new bill from a procedure from about two months ago that is fully covered with ZERO copay that I had received on July 13th. I called the OH billing department on July 14th, and told them that they have another coding error and are trying to get a co-payment from me for a procedure that is fully covered... AGAIN! The rep made notes of it and said that it will be sent to the supervisor, I again asked for a callback, even though I know that I will not receive one and the rep assured me that I will get a callback. I never received the callback. At the end of August I received another bill for this procedure, I called again and went through the same things I have been doing for years now. I demanded that I receive a callback from a supervisor. I waited two or three hours and still no return call, so I called again demanding that I be connected to a supervisor... They put me on hold for several minutes and then finally an assistant to the supervisor got on the line and said that their procedure is to return calls within 24 hours. She also said that they don't have annual diagnostic coverage that is fully covered by insurance. I couldn't believe the nonsense that she was telling me, so I quoted the procedure coverage directly from my insurance benefits. She assured me that I will receive a return call from the supervisor the next day. I told her that I never get those calls... she verified my contact number and was insistent that I will be called the next day. That was 7 days ago and still no call. This is the worst business I have ever had to deal with, and I have had to deal with T-Mobile.
