Small office with limited seating. Telephone service very poor. Receptionist abrupt with poor people skills. Surgery however was excellent.

I had an afternoon appointment but due to a snowstorm, they called and asked if I could come in early. Terrific office.

Before the procedure, she prepaid about $1500 and signed standard paperwork, but we were not specifically warned that IV/deep sedation and related medication charges could be entirely excluded under her plan. After the wisdom teeth extraction, Aetna denied over $1000 of sedation and medication charges even though the surgery itself was covered. We later learned that these anesthesia services were categorically excluded under our specific dental plan. While my daughter was away at college and we were actively working through the insurance appeal process, the office sent collection warnings and added "service charges" to the balance, which created significant additional stress. The office eventually removed those charges after we complained. The clinical care may have been standard, but the financial communication and billing experience were extremely disappointing. Future patients should ask very specifically, in advance, whether IV sedation is covered under their exact insurance plan and what their expected out-of-pocket exposure could be -- even if the provider is in-network.

After a four plus year, seemingly never ending, tour of area dental practices that led us from…read morepediatric dentist to oral surgeon to periodontist to orthodontist it was time for the final piece for my daughter with the removal of her wisdom teeth and another oral surgeon. Let me start by saying that the first oral surgeon we used was more than fine in terms of results from a medical standpoint but the doctor had the personality of a potted plant and the office staff particularly from a billing standpoint were completely incompetent which led me to go elsewhere for this round. One easy call here set up the initial appointment a few weeks out. That visit was short and we had a recent x-ray sent from the pediatric dentist to avoid having another one done (and the associated cost) and they were more than fine with that. (The other oral surgeon we used in the past did not allow that and insisted they had to take their own x-ray.) The day of the procedure was very smooth. My daughter was called on time and she was done and in a recovery room about an hour later right on schedule. She had as much time as she wanted to wake up and stumble out to the car. We were given a very thorough set of post procedure instructions regarding icing, oral rinsing, brushing, etc. Her pain level was never overwhelming and by day two she said she felt more or less normal. At the follow up visit the following week her sutures were removed by one of the staff quick and easy. The doc came in and pronounced everything perfect. Two small points of negativity before the big finish. At the initial appointment rather than run the visit through our insurance, they insisted that I had to pay for the visit in full because we didn't meet our deductible. I attempted to explain that was true for our medical insurance but that our dental insurance doesn't have the same requirements. I was ignored and sure enough, a month later after things were run through our insurance along with two more phone calls to the office, they issued me a refund check for what they overcharged me. #annoying My daughter is very afraid of needles and at the other oral surgery practice they prescribed her a numbing cream that we applied at home right before the procedure so that she didn't feel anything. Dr. D. doesn't do that and instead insisted that laughing gas would work fine. My daughter is of a different opinion that it did nothing for her and she felt everything which is exactly what she didn't want. In the grand scheme of things the experience here was great. Everything from paperwork to billing to how the procedure would go was explained in full with any questions more than welcomed. If you have ever dealt with a certain other area oral surgery practice (V.O.) you know that questions are quasi-frowned upon and they act more like the KGB where only they ask the questions. Don't deal with that. Come here. As soon as you hear Sinatra crooning in the waiting area then get the big handshake from Dr. D. you'll know you've come to the right place.

Remember to bring payment the day of your procedure! I almost forgot to bring payment for my wisdom teeth extraction haha. 2. Usually I'm nervous about IVs because I'm not a good stick and the surgical assistant had to stick me in the hand. Usually I bruise all blue, green, yellow, and purple. He did GREAT! Granted I was under the gas so that eliminated the nerves and albeit the pain, but I am not bruised!! 3. I'm expecting pain and swelling after the procedure. 29 hours later, NO PAIN and NO SWELLING. 4. Last night at 5:14 pm I received a phone call from Dr. Dimmich just to see how I'm doing! Currently in my dental journey, I have adult braces (fantastic orthodontist referred by Dr. Bender) in preparation for a double-jaw surgery to correct my underbite. Dr. Bender has discussed my case by name with my dentist and my dentist had remarked how excited Dr. Bender is to be taking care of my case :D

Wow... I CANNOT believe this swindler is still practicing! I went to this con-artist years ago for…read morean aching tooth. He told me I had to get a root canal (which I now question). I had the procedure done & immediately that tooth became infected, swollen & excruciating. I went back & this horrible dentist tried to convince me that the pain was coming from the tooth NEXT to the infected one he worked on. Grossinger & his staff tried immediately to get me to do ANOTHER root canal on a perfectly good tooth. I knew something was completely wrong with this. I went to another endodontist & come to find, Grossinger left part of the root in my tooth, therefore it became infected and I had to have a completely new root canal done on the same tooth!! I had to pay over $900 to Grossinger & THEN pay another $900 to the second dentist. I reported him to my dental insurance company and to the American Dental Association. Unfortunately, my husband & I had to transfer for work out of the country, and I was not able to pursue this horrible situation. I did resume my plight with the ADA when I returned back to the states a few years ago. However, they needed more information & my xrays. Grossinger's office was completely rude & basically unwilling to give me MY xrays back, but I finally received them.(I could tell due to their reluctance that they knew they were in hot water). The years have passed, but I am nowhere near giving up on having this swindler exposed. I am shocked that he is still practicing. This review is being posted to other sites. Please do not let yourself be taken advantage of by this unconscionable man. If he's done this to me, there must be many others out there...
