Came here with our team for a small group dinner. The service was very fast and friendly. Food was ok, typical bar food but good. Server was really friendly and patient. They didn't have a very big selection of mixed drinks or wines so that was a bit of a bummer, but it was still a good evening. There aren't many places close to where I was, so this worked out fine. I had the butter chicken pie. It was like, Indian food, stuffed in a Chicago deep dish pizza crust, covered with mashed potatoes and topped with cheese from a shepards pie. Kind of weird. Reminded me of something you throw together on a plate when there's lots of take out leftovers. Just, whatevs. Get chicken wings or something instead. read more

Our waitress was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She was the only part of the experience that was positive as far as I'm concerned. The restaurant advertises "half price appetizers after 8 pm." Usually I expect SOME exceptions, but when we asked, we were told that only about a third of the appetizers were half price. Big disappointment. I had the fish and chips. In my opinion, the fish was some of the worst I had ever had. My wife tried it though and didn't mind it, so I can write that up as a matter of preference. The chips, however, were like warm and tough. They had clearly been prepared earlier in the day and then reheated. Ambiance was alright for a slow night. A couple of tv's showing online bar trivia and the rest showing sports. Some of the televisions were old and colours were off, but no big deal. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it to a friend. Worse place ever .. Use to be good .. the management needs to check to see what is going on .. 3 times we tired . Our food was not good .. watery sour tasting soup , rock hard dried out hamburgers , cold fries, primerib on a bun not fresh mostly fat and was heated up on the grill . Love this place. Food is great, if you have a problem they are right there to correct it. The staff are excellent and to me if the staff are courteous and friendly that's the place for me. Have taken out of town friends and they all were very happy. read more

We've ate here for the breakfast buffet twice now and it's by far the best buffet in town for breakky!!! We've been to them all in town so, they really don't compare!! Especially the omelette station!! :) read more

Great place for burgers and other fingerfood. Fast and friendly service. Around lunch or dinner time there are lots of families there and the staff is very attentive to all needs. Don't know what crowd hangs out at night when it becomes more of a bar and meeting place. read more

Great place to eat for the whole family. My daughter and I are vegan so this is a perfect place to eat with our family. The vegan food is on point! The hot beyond burger with mashed potatoes were amazing, as well as the spicy burger! The service was friendly and our waiter was vegan so woot woot!! read more

St. Thomas Road House is excellent. Service is great and food is very fresh, hit, and great quality. We had take out. Their burgers are made right in the restaurant and it shows. They are awesome. A good example of quantity instead of quality. Really, how does one make nachos any less flavourful! The cheese was rubber, the hamburger was sawdust and even the tomatoes were water. My partners steak was pounded out to appear bigger and drenched in awful spices that he had to remove. Even the french fries were flavourless! Sure it was cheap, but I would rather pay a couple bucks more for flavour and little better quality thank you!! Pub grub does not have to suck this bad! Has this poor town settled for this substandard pub grub... seriously, unless you are just going in there for a beer do not waste your hard earned money. I've been to the roadhouse a few times and each time I've been the service has been great and same with the food! The servers are very polite and they don't make you wait long for your food to come. The food is prepared very well and tastes even better! I would totally recommend the Roadhouse for anyone looking for a great meal or for a gathering. read more

I took my family to the Roadhouse tonight, we wanted the platter however we have a shellfish allergy, so we asked for an equal substitution. The waitress said we could only have fries, so we asked to speak to the manager. When the manager came over, he informed us its only fair and consistent if they provide fries as a substitute. We said that doesn't seem fair shrimp vs fries? Can't we have 1 extra wing instead , he said "no" after discussing this, we mentioned that it may not be a wise decision to offer fries which are obviously cheaper then shrimp as it could cost him a family meal once per week - he replied - oh you are really going to throw that at me - come on, I said well some families would make that decision so I suggest you rethink that thought process its not right. Chipped glass resulting in a hospital visit. I only wish I could have less then one star... We started going here because of the cheap prices, although the service was lacking. On our third visit i was served with a chipped glass which cut half of my upper lip. I spoke to the owner who after taking the glass from me accused me of making the whole thing up and had us physically removed from the resturant. The bleeding would not stop and I ended up in the emergency room. I have since filled a complaint with the local health unit, though I dont know what will come of it as they said I really needed to have kept the glass I was served with I cannot believe the way we were treated here. If you have any regard for your personal health I would avoid this establishment. read more

Since the new owners bought this place there's been a decline in service, food and food quality. Not too mention they've dropped a popular appetizer (coconut shrimp) and increased the prices. Was in this past Sunday (March 30th) and was not at all happy with the food/meals or subsequent chat with the owner. My mum ordered the chicken stir fry, it was loaded with mushrooms and onions but light on the chicken. Again, this was a change since the ownership change. Way too many mushrooms and onions, for what is billed as Chicken Stir Fry. A chat with the owner who claimed it was not his fault or responsibility how food was prepared or served netted no results. It's safe to say I won't be in again, and that includes our large group of 10 who were regulars there as a group and many who went on their own. Be careful owners, word travels fast. I wish you had been more approachable and reasonable when we discussed this with you a few nights ago. read more

roadhouse is one of my favourites. it has a good menu and really nice workers. this is always a good go to place to eat but its very popular some nights so it can get pretty packed but its worth it. read more

I was at the Road House Sunday evening with friends for the first time in over a year. I wasn't impressed on my last visit, but I was even less impressed this visit. I didn't think that would even be possible! Bottom line: The food is junk! Cheap, low quality food such as watery bottled sauce spaghetti and discusting processed hamburgers. And shredded lettuce as a garnish? Really? What's worse is the service. When one of my friend's requested a substitution for the shrimp in his combo platter due to a food allergy, he was told he could have fries. Fries for shrimp? He asked to talk to the manager as he would of like an extra chicken wing or two. NOPE, there was no way the manager wwas going to do that. Instead we got a lecture on food cost blah blah. Anyone with any common sense knows that the cost of fries does not equal the cost of coconut shrimp. The manager was rude and argumentative and was quite content with an unsatisfied customer. Bad business all around! I won't be going back to the Road House EVER! It's a shame because the restaurant itself has a fun atmoshpere :( read more
