This restaurant was one the best highlights of my whole St. Thomas trip and I am somebody who loves to travel for food. We ended up frequenting this restaurant throughout our whole stay for drinks, jazz night, the lively Sunday brunch, and just a good bite. The food was great and flavorful every time, drinks were delicious, prices were fair, and portions were big. We ended up recommending this spot to friends who traveled after us and they loved the Sunday brunch which also has a bottomless mimosas option. It is located in a shopping center and sits right next to the water. There's plenty of seating and the view is gorgeous at all times. The owner and chef were both great people who took care of us and made sure every experience was fantastic! Throughout our stay, we tried the lamb chops, croquettes, mussels, fries, lobster and mashed potatoes, steak, calamari, sunday brunch burger, and french toast along with various drinks. We had no complaints about any dish and everything left us satisfied. My top 2 favorite things: the lobster dish and mussels. The lobster was cooked to perfection and the mashed potatoes it came with were some of the best we ever had. The mussels were very flavorful and came with a garlic bread to dip in the yummy broth. This spot was recommended to me by a friend, so after having a delicious cocktail at the bar, I decided to visit again and try the food. Woof. My friend and I went when it wasn't even that busy, yet we ended up waiting well over an hour for our food. It was taco Tuesday, ($2 tacos) and I got the mahi-mahi, which were ok. We ordered the butter chicken and cavatelli bolognese, which while tasty, were severely over priced for the portions we received. The bolognese for reference was served in a small shallow bowl, only two noodles deep. If it wasn't for the fact that it was taco Tuesday, we would've left hungry. read more

I enjoyed my dining experience at St. Thomas Social. We came for an 8pm dinner reservation which we booked ahead of time. Although the food is quite tasty, the price we paid was just not worth it. I paid $16 for naan and dipping sauce, and it wasn't even that great. On the bright side, they do have live music Saturday nights and the atmosphere is really lovely. The restaurant overlooks the Marina and has great views of Charlotte Amalie. We also enjoyed our service. The manager offered us a complimentary glass of bubbly since we were celebrating a special occasion. All in all, a nice place to eat but be prepared to spend a lot. read more

We had such a great experience! Our waitress was super attentive and the host was very kind. It also has a great feel, it's on the water but covered and had a welcoming ambiance. Our food was exceptional! My husband ordered the curry and I ordered the lamb and we both loved our meals. March 2024. St. Thomas social is located in the yacht Haven. Very beautiful scenery. You have all the yachts and Mega yachts here. The music is very entertaining. They have TVs for sport shows. The staff were very friendly and nice. The old-fashioned bourbon was really good made really well. The guava coloda fizz was excellent and very tasty. I had two of them. read more

Attended their Sunday brunch twice and both times were fantastic. The staff, manager and DJ are all quite welcoming and have greeted us with a smile on their faces. St. Thomas is not an island known for a lively/partyish scene, so having a dining experience that offers a brunch party is a fantastic addition to St. Thomas and much appreciative for great Sunday vibes. There can be some misses on food order vs what you get but they are quickly rectified once you let them know they got the order wrong. Delicious, free shots are given out every hour and the staff does a good job at keeping you entertained. Cocktails and mocktails alike are well made. Cannot wait to return to St. Thomas, Sunday brunch at STT social will always be a go-to restaurant for me. read more

I've been a regular here every season. I have my favorite go to apps and meals I love and never fails me. The charred octopus (LOVE) , lamb lollipops, the bolognaise. The chef comes out and greets and the manager always finds time to come around and talk to patrons. I have become familiar with the bartenders and it's good to see their welcome back greetings. The music playlist or live jazz nights are always enjoyable. I have a seat near the bar and enjoy the full experience with colleagues or freinds. I've made suggestions and they have taken them on, even showcasing fantastic new cocktails. Sometime they are extremely busy but they always make time for their customers as best they can . Food was awful my steak was all chared up and tasted like crap. I maybe eat a third of it and the guy was trying to argue how much I eat. On top of that the service was awful. Manager gave so much attitude for no reason even though 2 people out of 6 said the food was decent. It took us 20 minutes to get seated for a reservation. Food took so long to get out it was upsetting. We asked for a box and didn't get one for 30 + minutes. The only decent thing was the atmosphere everything else was awful. Never come here. read more

My husband and I usually enjoy dining at St Thomas Social but we had a very unfortunate experience today. Went in for brunch, got seated, then sat for 15 minutes without being greeted or given water, I don't mind waiting but it's a little rude when other servers make eye contact with you multiple times and can't even provide water or say a simple "someone will be right with you". We were just about to leave when we finally got our server and he took our order. Oysters came out quick and are always great, however, my husbands entree came out wrong, my food went cold while I waited for his food, so we can actually eat together, and our water glasses sat empty most of time. Our server barely checked up on us , I had to run to the host stand to get someone to grab him so we can get our check and leave. When we got the bill, he still had the nerve to tack on the 20% auto grat and didn't offer to fix anything or get a manger about the situation. Great new restaurant in Yacht Haven Grande. The food is amazing. A bit pricey but well worth it. Make sure you try the lamb chops (the way the chef prepares is best). Shrimp are large, juicy and tasty. Also try the humus...four different taste and all very good. Excellent friendly service. Have been there twice this week! read more

The lamb shank was excellent. I especially recommend it and it kinda carried this review. The service was pretty bad with barely any water refills. And the ambience just made it a horrible experience. The music was blasting so load we barely heard each other and so we barely talked to each other. And it was so hot I was actually melting to death bad experience overall but the lamb was very good. 3 stars. read more

The restaurant design and set up is nice, cool fans for the heat. However the food was awful! Very bland, flavorless and entirely overpriced given the poor quality. And to make matters worse, I placed a to go order but was still charged a 20% gratuity of $10!!!! automatically Just for a carry order. $60 total for a single meal that I ended up trashing. Please!!! Please! Please! Save your money. All thats flashing through my mind and empty stomach is all the other ways I could have spent my money. After a 20 minute wait, we finally got seated. The appetizers were good, I recommend the garlic bread and the pita bread with dips. The atmosphere and vibe was amazing, but very deceiving. We had almost an hour wait for our food, and not to mention I had to wait an extra 20 minutes for a plate of buttered pasta, seriously?? That was only the start, my food had 2 bugs in it, and my brothers steak was over charred. The service was terrible, the waitress brought out our personal starters with our main meals. Not to mention when we explained to the manager our disappointment, he argued back, raised his voice, and tried to argue how much of the food we ate, ridiculous!! We managed to get 25% off our meal, but while we were waiting we asked 3 times for a take out box and it took them 25 minutes to come out with one.
