I had a horrible experience here. I came here because "a lady at my work taking blood donations said she felt heart palpitations' and I couldn't give blood". They had me pay up front standard practice I know however I really believe this place does it so you don't walk out. Once in back I could hear the doctor and nurse having casual conversation as I waited another 30 minutes for them to finish. I refused to sit on the table because it had butt marks from the previous guest, there was a used bandage on the ground and the baseboard has peeled back showing dry wall. It looked as thought the trash can nor facilities had been cleaned in months. When the doctor arrived she took my blood pressure asked some questions she never even listened to my heart. I live VERY close to here and drive out my way to go elsewhere. No thank you. read more

Hands down the best immediate care I have ever been to. I was having severe stomach and back pain with nausea and cold sweats. They took me back right away and started asking me questions to find out what was wrong with me. Rochelle was my nurse and Sylvia took my blood. They were super awesome. I cannot express enough how much they took care of me. The Doctor was so awesome. I cannot rememeber her name but she was very thorough and really didn't want me leaving without knowing what was wrong. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything they could do until the labs came back. Very compassionate people. Received a phone call today with my results. I'm just so thankful I went to this immediate care. PS. Before I went to St V's Immeidate care I went to the Med Check at Community (146th and Cumberland Rd). The gal told me to have a seat and wait. There were only two other people in the waiting room. She didn't even ask me what was wrong just have a seat and wait. That's when I started looking for another Med Check and found St V's. Thank God because I received awesome care here. read more

Is there a zero star option? Don't come here unless you want to come back in three weeks with the same symptoms only to be questioned by the same NP. They don't like to give antibiotics even when you know it is a sinus infection...it's sad when webmd is a better doctor than the staff at immediate care. How disappointing to wait over two hours for a 5 minute visit to be told it will clear up on its own. No ma'am, otherwise i would be back here again. read more

Shout out to the male doctor who couldn't keep his eyes off my boobs. Extremely uncomfortable, he was very rushed even though I was the only person there at the time. No one else was in the waiting room when I got called back. Felt like I wasn't really being taken care of, just in and out as quick as they could. He literally diagnosed me within seconds of the examination I honestly don't know if he was correct. Just overall a weird experience. read more

Went in after I got off work (about 7pm) to see a doctor about a bad cough, I explained how much it hurt and how nothing is working. The doctor talked to me about 5 mins total & did absolutely nothing to help me. I was told to "wait it out". & they still get paid. Ridiculous. read more

I took my daughter in for a wellness check and will never set foot in this location again. My family and I are relatively new to Fishers so this was our first time seeing Dr. Slaven. We had a wonderful pediatrician in Chicago and my thoughts going in to St. Vincent's was that in a small city like Fishers my daughter's new doctor would be just as good if not better since she probably didn't see as many children here as doctors do in a city the size of Chicago. Dr. Slaven never introduced herself to us, hardly smiled and asked some questions that we felt were inappropriate. I thought it was common practice that doctors introduce themselves to new patients? What business is it of hers if my daughter has ever met her biological father? What business is it of hers if my daughter has any friends? And when the doctor was alone with my daughter she asked my kid about her biological father and told her she should be in a public school - not home schooled. The vibe inside the clinic was not very welcoming. It was stagnant at best. The clinic employees hellos seemed forced and they were accompanied by the faintest of eye contact. My wife and I will not bring our children here ever again. read more

After waiting here hours to be seen. The care service provided was absolutely inexcusable. Our experience with the doctor, the nursing staff, and the clerical help was difficult to communicate with, it took over 28 hours to get an X-ray read, and after leaving three messages, finally went back to the office to collect the results. We where treated with brash behavior and a condescending attitude, only to find out that the issue was acute bronchitis and pneumonia. I highly recommend choosing ANY other facility them this one if you want immediate care. read more

I actually had a great first experience at this location. :) The wait wasn't long, the place was clean and I was seen by someone that was both professional and friendly. My visit was due to a sore throat and the nurse practitioner was more than willing to listen to everything I had to say and gave feedback that I believed was legit. (Thank goodness, right?) haha I left feeling well taken care of and will definitely be returning when I'm in need of an immediate care clinic in the future. I looked at the reviews before going to this location. They were not good, but I personally think that people that don't have a complaint don't always take the time to write a review. So I took a chance and went in. I am so glad that I did. First of all, the receptionist at the front window is no longer the woman that so many people complained about. She has been replaced by Helen, who had a smile on her face and was very welcoming. I went in for an 11:05am appointment and the waiting room was empty. Helen was able to take me back to a room immediately. I never even had to sit in the waiting room. Then Francie came in to take my vitals and go over the reason for my appointment. She was really sweet. Kaitlyn, the Nurse Practitioner, came in 2 minutes after Francie left. They never left me waiting. Kaitlyn went over everything with me in detail. She did rush me at all. Do not underestimate Nurse Practitioners. In the past I always thought that I wanted to see a Doctor and not a Nurse Practitioner, but most of the Nurse Practitioners that I have seen have given me more time and attention to detail than most doctors that I have seen. And they seem more compassionate. My regular primary is a Nurse Practitioner (she was away this week) and I adore her. I was there for a sinus issue and wanted to get a Covid test while I was there. Francie was the one doing the swab for the test and she was very gentle, recognizing how tender my nose was. I don't know if they have all new people but I will definitely go here again. This location definitely checked all the good boxes for me. read more

I went to the St. Vincent Immediate Care on 116th on a Sunday afternoon with a broken finger from a sledding accident. I have often gone to this clinic for sinus infections and other illnesses when I was unable to get in to see my primary care physician and have had no complaints. However, I will never again spend my money or my insurance company's money at this facility. I was sledding with my son when the injury occurred so he arrived at the clinic with me. I discreetly told the nurse that I may be pregnant and that a urine sample should be done prior to x-rays. The nurse understood my emphasis on being discreet in front of my son; however, the doctor (Dr. Wine) barged in and inconsiderately announced that I was indeed pregnant in front of my son. I was then ushered in for x-rays and sat in an exam room for well over an hour waiting on results. Dr. Wine finally came in and recommended that they wrap my finger and release me since the radiologist was taking too long to review my x-rays. I was told that I would receive a call by end of day with the results and next steps. I received no call. By the following morning, my entire hand was swollen, black and blue, and considerably painful. I called the Immediate Care office at 8:30 AM and was transferred to the nurse's line. By 7 PM, I still had not received a call back, so I left a second message asking for a callback. I received no response. At 8 PM, I called the main St. Vincent Care Line and explained the situation. The woman on the line told me that she couldn't help because the Immediate Care was now closed and that they would be closed the following day for a Federal holiday. I asked her what I was supposed to do in the meantime and she suggested I go to the St. Vincent ER for another round of x-rays. I asked her for the phone number to lodge a complaint against Dr. Wine and the Immediate Care clinic. I called and left a message on that line and 2 days later have received no response. Additionally, I have still received no response from the clinic about the results of my x-rays (its now 4 days later). My husband dropped by the clinic this morning to get information and was only offered the option to leave a message for the nurse. On Monday night, after getting nowhere with the Immediate Care or the St. V Care Line, I emailed my primary care physician with my concerns. Today (4 days after the injury) he has tracked down my x-rays and confirmed that I not only have a broken finger but torn ligaments in my hand. He emailed me today and let me know that Dr. Wine still had not signed off on the x-rays but that I need to see a hand specialist immediately. I will never again go to the St. Vincent Immediate Care on 116th. read more

I took my mom to this urgent care. She had a bad sore throat and a fever. The lady in the front was really nice and friendly. She told us 7 people were in front of us and the wait was 1 1/2 hour. We asked if we could wait in the car because my mom was feeling cold in the AC. She said it was fine and asked for us to check in a hour later. I came back in 40 minutes and a different nurse was sitting at the front desk eating a sandwich with chips. I asked her if it was my mom's turn and she replied with "I don't know i kept calling for her and called for her 5 times" I explained to her what the other girl said. She ROLLED her eyes and said "hmm comon" she was really rude and had food crumbs all over her face. She did not seem to care that my mom was not feeling well. This particular nurse was African American and had a accent. She was just rude!!! She seemed to hate her job. read more

I didn't mind the Dr but I felt the nurse Angela was annoyed to be there. I base my experiences by the staff at the places I go. There's nothing worse than felling like you're bothering someone that is there to help you. I also didn't like that you can't make an appointment. read more

I spent over an hour there, but probably spent only 10 to 15 minutes communicating with anyone at all. I probably only spent one minute total being actually examined- if that. My doctor repeatedly came and went from my room, each time without much to offer, and I spent most of my time sitting and waiting. I have nothing positive to say about the little care that I did receive. While the doctor was nice enough she was obviously busy and I felt like she had no proper time or advice or treatment to offer me. The nurses were even rude, and when I voiced my dissatisfaction with the ordeal I was met with worse. I will never waste my time or money at this business ever again. This place is garbage. Seek medical attention elsewhere. read more

I've been to this immediate care place several times, and always had similar experiences (including today). It is what I would expect out of an urgent care set-up: decent staff from front desk to doctor, in and out under an hour, correct diagnosis, and subsequent prescription. Today especially there was a super friendly check-in lady and equally friendly check-out lady. I admit that I'm a fairly healthy person and I usually already know what's wrong, so it's no surprise diagnoses. That's what I expect... typical diagnoses with typical medication to follow. More complicated stuff? I would go to my primary care physician or a specialist who should know me and my complications and would probably schedule a long visit to thoroughly review my case. read more

I am very disappointed with the professionalism and the service here. My insurance has always billed me 35 for a copay. I paid my copay, everything was fine. Four months later I get an extra bill for 30 dollars. I find out that the office had billed my insurance incorrectly due to a 'system error' and the 35 copay had been wrong. If I knew I was going to be billed 50 dollars for a glorified doctor's visit, I wouldn't have returned. But I did, they refused to accept responsibility for their mistake, and now I've been charged for four doctors visits instead of 2. The Medical Director in charge of billing "doesn't take patient calls" and the nurse at the front desk is extremely rude. I don't expect this place to stay in business. read more
