My husband and son have been coming to this barbershop for the past 9 years. Chuy is truly the best. In all this time, the price has barely increased and is still more affordable than competitors, while always making sure my husband and son leave with the best haircut. My son is now 12 and has been coming here since he was a toddler. There were only 3 people we ever trusted with his hair and all 3 worked here, it was barber named True who's no longer there, Chuy-the owner, and another gentleman with longer hair who is no longer there. All 3 were always great with him from the beginning and continued taking care of him as he grew older. We're so thankful Chuy is still there because we don't trust anyone else with my son's hair. I take my kid to cut masters to get cut with Robert. We've been going to Robert since he was working out of his garage. My son likes him and his cuts are on point!! Now that Robert is gone I will never ever go there again. They lost a good thing when Robert left. The place needs a good clean up. Not just with the building itself but I personally didn't enjoy the riff-raff coming in trying to sell stolen merchandise. How do I know it's stolen?? Umm it's alcohol bottles that still had the lock on the cap and they gave instructions on how to remove it. read more

We just moved to the area and went to 2 different barbers which in turn I left disappointed of my son's gentleman's cut. Came here and 3rd time is a charm! Barber Carlos is very meticulous and his barber skills on point! I usually ask the stylist to touch up areas as I am a perfectionist. I honestly couldn't find an area that required touching up! The best barber shop in the 805. Appointments always on time, cuts always on point, and atmosphere is always amazing. I highly recommend this barber shop and highly recommend establishing a relationship with a barber to always have an opening that works with your schedule. Prices are great. Worst haircut I've had in my life. The dude took more than an hour to send me home with a trash haircut. Stevie wonder could've done a better job. He had to ask for help from another barber during the haircut. I don't know how a barber can let someone walk out with such a bad haircut. I had to schedule an appointment somewhere else to get my haircut fixed. He took more than an hour to give me a trash haircut. Worst barber experience ever. Sal is a great passionate barber. He takes immense pride is his work . I visit the barber shop once a week and get the whole works with him . Things I get done my beard colored, hair cuts, relaxers and not to mentioned the whole staff is friendly. I can text or call him for a simple line up and to style my hair and always available. I have to admit I was super nervous about coming in for my son's haircut. My big, little cuz assured me this was the spot to go though, so I figured I'd just take it out on him if something went wrong. We did have a wait time that was longer than expected though but I didn't schedule am appointment either so can't really knock it. After just a few minutes of trimming I could tell this was a good choice. My son was moving up and down, looking here and there and his hair still came out lookin like a little G, which I was very happy about since it could have been very bad. I have come to the conclusion that Cut Masters dosent care if the barbers are licensed or not. If you want a Barbershop that won't listen to any of your request, that will push your hairline back, and won't completely fade when you ask them to, then this is the place for you. If you want an actual barber then I HIGHLY recommend going elsewhere. I specifically told them I want an edge and taper, nothing off the sides or the top. Not only did he not listen he, took a lot off the sides and the top, he pushed my hairline back, and the fade wasn't even a smooth and clean fade. I stopped going here A WHILE back. It seemed like a cool place. I actually followed the owners from a previous spot. All was cool, until after this rude event: I would see one of the co-owners regularly for cuts..if you like the way it looks, stay with the same barber right? Well I don't know if this dude started taking me for granted or what his deal was. I noticed that he would start to leave me with cuts, not unsightly nicks, but stuff that I would have to cover up with a hat.. and the ones behind my neck, forget about it! Anyway, one day I looked in the mirror after he was done and the same thing. This was the dude's last chance! I asked him if I could get a discount because of all the scratches. He didn't like the idea at all! He started giving me his back and said "If you don't like the way I cut then don't sit on my chair." I COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT I HEARD. I paid the guy like $2 less and never went back..nor will I ever. My mistake for allowing this clown to slip for so long. read more
