I was in the building at one of the other businesses when I decided to take a stroll through Stacy's Furniture and Design and see what they had. They are Ina two story building and most of the inventory is upstairs. The stairs leading up to the main door make for an impressive entrance when you enter the building, but many people will be glad to know that there is also an elevator. The showroom is impressive with a huge selection. I was mainly interested in couches, and there were more there than most furniture stores I have visited. I found a couple possibilities, but I have to come back with the "boss" before purchasing anything. I was very impressed that while this place is stocked up with Sale People and they all offered me assistance, they respected the fact I was there to just look and don't want someone walking around with me while I looked. We purchased a Solana Mountain power reclining sofa here in 2022 along with a Guardian Protection Plan. In January 2026, the reclining mechanism and frame failed. Guardian's repair process dragged on for months -- they lost a parts order, ordered replacement parts a second time which also never arrived, and eventually determined in June 2026 that the sofa was unrepairable. At that point I was offered a store credit or a cash settlement, but Stacy Furniture doesn't carry the brand (Flexsteel) I wanted to replace it with, so the credit wasn't usable for me. My salesperson contact stopped responding to my emails, and when I escalated to the VP of Operations by phone, I was simply given the same information Guardian had already told me, with no willingness to help push for a fair resolution. It's now been over six months since the sofa failed with no refund issued. If you're considering an extended warranty purchase here, be aware that Stacy Furniture has not been willing to advocate for customers when the third-party warranty company (Guardian/OnPoint) drags its feet. read more

We had been looking for a leather sofa for quite some time and we just could not find the right one. We looked all over. We finally went back to Stacy's and asked for our fav sales associate Deanie. She worked with us after we told her what we were looking for. We had to order it and we were kind of nervous about how it would look once we got it. We ordered it the first part of November. We didn't expect to get it before Christmas, but lo and behold, we got it before we left for the holidays. We are very happy with the sofa. Deanie was great. Another associate had tried to help us before, but didn't quite have the expertise that Deanie has. Thank you Deanie! I still haven't gotten my ordered chair delivered that arrived to them 3 weeks ago! They don't work with you to get a time range that suits you. I can only do afternoons and they say they can't guarantee that or fulfill that request. So, I've had to schedule a delivery blind, not knowing if it'll be afternoon or not. Finally, I got an afternoon time slot. I called their warehouse number, as prompted, and asked for a more specific window. They told me it would be delivered between 3 and 3:30. Of course, they showed up at 1:30 and I was not able to take delivery. It's hard to trust Stacy Furniture and I won't be doing business with them again. Bought a taupe color leather sectional 2 years ago. Most expensive piece of furniture I ever purchased paid over $7,000.00 with protection plan! Headrest on the sectional pieces with recliner have totally discolored. I am embarrassed when I have guests. Was told its from hair products. Do not buy beige or taupe color leather. Stacy Furniture takes high marks for providing a large, attractive showroom filled with many, many room setups to browse through. The sales people are commission based, which brings with it a certain gaminess to the experience. Thankfully, the sales people at Stacy were not high pressure and when we told them we were only looking, they did not hound us in the least. Most of the pieces we looked at were considerably outside our budget. I've never been a big spender on furniture, preferring to bargain hunt (except on a bed). But, I did enjoy the conversation we had, perusing the decor ideas and discussing what we liked and didn't like. The desks in particular seemed really high. But, I'm a fan of the large showroom for the options it provides. And we had fun dreaming a little. I wasn't clear if everything in the building was Stacy, but one of our favorite parts was the bathroom and kitchen area on the first level. It was beautifully setup and loaded with things to try and touch, many of which were absolutely gorgeous! So, if you have the budget, I would think Stacy would be a great place for all-in-one shopping. If you're like me, you'll need to stick to Ashley or Sam's and come back here someday! read more

This Stacy Furniture location has been around for a very long time, and it shows. The furniture style, once inspirational is now absurdly outdated. Heavy, oversized, dark wood still reigns supreme at Stacy's. The showroom felt claustrophobic and stale, absent of customers and color. Stacy's has a lot of things going for them, including the location and showroom size. Would love to see them refresh their brand and products. But then again I'd also like Jerry Jones to finally give up control of the Cowboys. Sadly, both Stacy's and Jerry are stuck in the glory days of 1990. read more

I bought a brand new Bernhardt sofa at Stacy, the cushions collapsed after a just a few weeks. I have been calling customer service every day and repeatedly told "I'll have to talk to a manager and I will call you back" I'm pretty sure they are just stalling until the warranty runs out or I just give up and go away. Sadly this seems to be the way most businesses treat people post COVID. I have had a better experiences at Ethan Allen, Havertys and NFM and I would recommend them over Stacy Furniture. I remember when this used to be a quality, family run store, Sad to see them go like this after they had such a fine reputation. When you thought customer service could not get worse....it can. first be careful what you believe from their responses back. It's not always accurate to what they really said. However, I was to receive a replacement cushion. I was told it would take 3 to 4 weeks. During the fourth week I reached out to their customer service department (Elizabeth). Her response was "it's not in an I'll call you when it comes in. " When you tell a customer you'll call them when it comes in... That's basically saying I just don't care and you can wait. A good customer service representative would reply... I'm look into this and get back to you. Do not buy from this furniture store they are the worst. read more

Horrible experience and even worse customer service. I would encourage you to go elsewhere and not waste time buying. I was contacted the day before my order arrived and told I needed to pay more $$ or my order would not be delivered (I paid in full at the time of purchase). I was initially told they had not fully charged me for one item, when I questioned which item I was then told it was due to an item missed on the order. I again asked for clarity and was told it was a clerical error that was mis-typed on the CC machine. In addition, they had created a second order form, transferred payment from the first to partially pay the second form (financial wizardry). Long story short, they were basically holding my order hostage for 5% of the total sale so I went to the store and paid the fee in hopes to work out the details later. Delivery was to occur the next day between 7:30 and 10:30. Nobody showed up, so at 10:30 I called, and was told someone had called in sick, they would be late...when questioning why I wasn't contacted, I was told "they will be there soon". I had an 11:00 meeting and requested a reschedule. After having the billing issues and now delivery problems I figured I would get good customer service...wrong...they stated they would be there at 5:30-6 and someone would call me back at 12:30 to confirm and provide a solution to my concerns on the billing issues. Tired of waiting, I called them around 4 in the afternoon requesting an update. I was sent to a manager that basically said the charges were correct, they were not going to do anything and my order would arrive between 5:30 and 6. He would "look into" the charges. Getting a voicemail back 20 minutes later, I was told they didn't charge for one item on the original invoice. After paying the additional fees all charges were correct and my order would arrive by 6. It's now 6:25...no call, nobody has shown up...it's a disaster. I ordered a bedroom set for my daughter, completely disassembled her room and furniture for delivery this morning between 7:30 and 10:30, rescheduled meetings around the delivery and lost income (consulting) to plan for the arrival. Now, they've done it again and I'm going to have to re-assemble the room so she has a place to sleep tonight. I would NOT do business with them...the worst customer service, no respect for others, their time, money or honoring their commitments. Update: At 7:30 I get a call from the driver stating he's at least 1 hour away but was told to call me when they "got back in town". Really disappointed in Stacy's on multiple fronts after latest purchase experience. We looked for weeks for a new fabric sofa with a "stain proof" fabric. Found a nice one at Stacy's and consulted at length with the sales person on the fabric to ensure it was truly stain resistant or easy to clean. Had stain issues almost immediately from just putting feet on sofa. Called and asked if we could return the sofa for store credit - didn't even ask for a refund. Didn't even receive a call back. We have been buying furniture from Stacy's for over 15 years. Before now the customer service and honesty have always been top notch. The young man helping seemed to have no clue what he was doing. He couldn't answer very basic questions without going to ask someone else. When we found something we liked, it took forever to get the deal done. Then we researched the sofa and recliner we wanted to buy, They showed they had it discounted from around $8,000 to $3,600. When we looked online it was a decent deal, but the online prices we were seeing elsewhere were about $4200 for both pieces. This is deceptive advertising, and we will not buy from a company that lies to get you to buy from them. We did buy the set since it was still a better deal than elsewhere on quality brand furniture, but that will be the last time we purchase there. Beware you can't return items here even if it's only been a few days since purchasing . We spent around 12,000 and they refused to return a couple of items that were still in new condition that were only a couple of hundred dollars. They lied and said you can't return mattress pads and pillows according to state law....that's odd you can at bed bath and beyond and target?? When they sell these items they need to tell the customer this is non returnable! I can't believe they would loose loyal customers over two hundred dollars! The manager never returned my phone call which shows how much they don't care. I hate that I didn't go to Weirs in the first place. read more

We have purchased furniture from Stacy's for many years. In August we purchased a couch and love seat. A short time after we received the furniture we had a issue with the love seat that was really not Stacy's fault or was our fault. After discussing with customer service and our sales representative their only concern was our satisfaction. To make us happy they took our furniture back and let us pick out a new couch and love seat all which was their idea to satisfy us. I have known Ricky Stacy since I moved out to Southlake and know Dorian Stacy Sims from being in school with her. He use to have a warehouse that was much smaller that he sold furniture out of. My mom bought a sofa that was on clearance at the Stacy's in Grapevine (when they use to have a clearance section) and it reclined at both ends. She also went back and we looked and found her a loveseat (in clearance) to add to her living room. Both times we walked in there, we were promptly greeted once we got to the top of the stairs. We looked at some new stuff, but my mom asked if there was a clearance area. The gentleman lead us in that way and again both times she found what she was looking for and was happy. Both pieces lasted....let's say are still lasting but just in someone else's home as of 2 years ago. In 2016 my journey started with needing new living room furniture. I did go by Stacy's and had a look around. Got off track and ended up with a nightmare journey of picking other furniture places and let me tell you about crap furniture, first place was RTG and 3 different sets with each spending more money. Had to fight with them to get a refund. Again, went on the hunt, went through Stacy's, but went with NFM...and guess what? Same exact story as the first place. I heard wonderful things from a friend about Laz-e-Boy...HUGE mistake. You want overpriced, crappy furniture with HORRIBLE customer service. Go there. What a nightmare! They just looked at me when I walked into the store like I had money dripping off me. My point you ask? Well I have read all the reviews on here. Good and bad. I can tell you Rick Stacy would never talk like that to someone unless you were being rude to him and he had enough. I also have NEVER walked into that store and been ignored by the salespeople or had them salivating around me like they need a bone. I was in there before the Shelter in Place and talked to Dave. He showed us a few pieces of what we were wanting and then said he would leave us be and come back in a few. He did this several times. He was never pushy for a sale. Told him I wanted to look at other places. I got to do that before the Stay at Home order. Went back to Stacy's 05/02/20 and spoke with Dave again. Told him I was still looking, but wanted to find what I liked and get a price on it. He spent 2 hours with me. Took some swatches home. Will go back Sunday (today), but still one more place for me to check out. Bottom line before you write a review, know that a surge protector is only good for 2 years, after that is just becomes a power strip and will not protect your power recliners or chairs. Don't give a bad review for Hooker doing a crappy job on building your furniture and for taking so long to get it out. Not Stacy's fault. Most of all don't expect a refund or credit for a 99.00 mattress after a year. Shouldn't of been so cheap in the first place. Last but not least. We bought a Flexsteel recliner at Stacey's. This review reflects both on Flexsteel and Stacey's. We had a power surge and several items were impacted. The recliner was a power unit and froze in a position that renders it useless. We called Stacey's and they said they could not help us and told us to call Flexsteel. Flexsteel told us to call the dealer, they don't communicate with consumers. Stacey's then gave us the number of their repairman. Today I called another dealer and I described the chair to him and the condition. He immediately told me I had a China chair and he refused to carry them because they fail so often. When we bought the chair Stacey told there were no issues with the electric components. Don't buy Flexsteel and don't buy from Stacey's. read more

I purchased a sofa from this store and based on my experience with this transaction I will never do business with Stacy furniture again. They will say anything to make a sale, and lied to me about the availability and delivery date. I had to settle for the display sofa at full price, then the sales person slipped a Stacy warranty on the invoice without consulting me. I noticed the up charge on the bill the next day and returned to the store and was referred to Mr. Stacy. The experience was confrontational and pushy and was told there was some special "treatment" of the sofa and he could not refund the up charge. I purchased a dresser and mirror back in March and today is June 25th and I have YET to receive the mirror. The excuses I have received for not receiving my mirror are just piling up. First it was late shipping, second it arrived to their warehouse broken, third someone forgot to "reorder" the mirror. Finally after all this time it was supposed to be delivered today June 25th. I waited for my "delivery" for nearly two hours and nothing. So I called customer service and was told there was miscommunication and Hooker has yet to ship it to Texas. WHAT?!? Bought a bunk bed with steps in October. Bed arrived in Dec but it was the wrong one. So the replacement came two months later...Feb. They again brought the wrong one. One month later the brought the correct bed but it was missing the rail on the top. Here we are in mid June and still we do NOT have the correct bed. They called this weekend the rails are in. It's a miracle!!!! That is 8 MONTHS of waiting for a bed. I could have probably watched some YouTube videos and learned how to whittle my own bed out of Beechwood in less time. It's a very disappointing company. We won't shop here again. EVER EVER EVER Updated review: June 28, 2018 They delivered not one bed rail but TWO. I told the guy we only needed one. He shrugged and then asked where my hardware was. WHAT? You don't have hardware to install the dang rail? Why would I have that? Is that Something I was supposed to store in a drawer for nearly a year until you got your sh*t together? Long story short, they left two large rails leaning against my son's bedroom wall. Their associates were helpful in pulling together pieces across multiple rooms and collections. Everything arrived in the time frame expected and the delivery team did a great job of setup. The only downside that comes to mind is that we would have liked a greater discount given the quantity and quality of furniture we were ordering in one go. read more

I've always loved my bed, so when my husband suggested that we get a new one I knew this would not be an easy decision. After many WHY's and REALLY?'s we decided to start looking. Not only were we getting a new bed, but a new bed requires a new mattress, dresser, night tables, linens, comforters...all of it! Finally found a perfect PERFECT bedroom furniture. Staff was very accommodating and patient, especially considering my indecisiveness. Now time for a mattress....Does the mattress guy know his stuff (gosh I wish I could remember his name!). I think we spent 3 hours looking and learning about mattresses.... My sister and brother-in-law David and Linda Kate's from Bedford TX ordered a 4000.00 leather chair. When it was delivered it was not wrapped up and was damaged in the back of the chair. Stacys has not tried to help them with the problem. They will not return their calls then they went to the store and talked to a customer service lady named Elizabeth Grimes and she said she would take care of the issue and that was 3 Weeks ago and she has done nothing and will not return their phone calls. 4000.00 is a lot for one chair and they bought a leather couch and it is perfect. Kimberley Tredemeyer took the time to send me a nice email with photos of inventory that may be what we were looking for. When we went to Stacy's in person, Kimberley took great care of us. I have not shopped at Stacy Furniture in years - reason is, I wandered around the store wanting to furnish my new home and the sales people looked at me in my jeans and sweatshirt and decided I wasn't worth being waited on. I would imagine they work on commission and decided I wasn't worthy of their time as the gal was busy flirting with 2 male co-workers. To top it off, I think I was the only customer in the store. I have been waiting for my Hooker office furniture since the first of July (It is now 2/14/2019) . The only person who seems to care is my wonderful salesperson Marty, but no one else in the organization acts with any sense of urgency. Granted Hooker screwed up the order several times but when I spoke with my salesperson there was NO indication that upper management would care, was helping, was escalating, was prioritizing, was upgrading the shipping method was doing ANYTHING. When the furniture FINALLY arrived in January one of the pieces was crushed (the only piece that had been waiting for me while the other pieces were redone - how wsa that not noticed???). I am NOW on 4 weeks waiting for that final piece to be resent which was supposedly "in stock" at Hooker. Should have canceled my order back in August when the 4 week lead time got missed the first time. Go someplace else as for furniture this expensive you should get concierge treatment. read more

They do not stand behind their products at all. I purchased a $6000 Palliser sectional reclining sofa from them and one of the recliners stopped working in just about two years. They said there is no warranty and most probably I have to replace a motor. I agreed to pay $120 for a new motor. It arrived with no instructions on how to replace. I figured that out, but while replacing a motor I found out the issue wasn't a motor. It was a wire connecting a button with control unit. I fixed the wire and now recliner work. Since I didn't need a new motor I asked Stacy's to take it back for a refund minus shipping cost and even restocking fee. Guess what - they said these parts are not returnable at all. Never buy from them anything again. read more
