When I arrived they said they weren't open. Why would they tell me to come pick up the car during that time? They should have told me to pick it up on the Monday the week after to not waste time. When I arrived, they replaced the damaged parts, however, I got the car back with additional issues. The mechanics forgot to bolt back the fender liner so on the drive back it was completely eroded. The Moon roof lining was not aligned correctly. In addition, after I experienced the first snowfall in Chicago leakage was present on the side of the car where repairs were made. My car was pretty much in worse shape than when I left it with them. Extremely disappointed.

I've had other body shops tell me you'll never get an exact fit with after-market parts -- which is true. I've even had a body shop use OEM parts on my mom's Toyota and try to tell me the job is as good as it will be. My friend, who has almost two decades worth of experience working for auto body shops, and actually an adjuster for one of the major seven auto insurers in the nation, explained that an OEM part should always fit perfect. If it's sloppy, and doesn't fit right, it's 100% percent the shops fault. As per your insurer's policy, Nash Park will try to use after-market parts first. If they don't fit properly, they will notify your insurer and fight on your behalf to use OEM parts so your car will be perfect. They take great pride in their craft, and will refuse to return your vehicle unless it's absolutely perfect. After moving out of the area, and having either dissatisfactory, or mediocre experience with other body shops working on my family's cars, I decided to take my vehicle an hour away back to Nash Park. I couldn't have been any happier. From now on, I'm not taking my vehicles to the approved insurer's body shops; I'm taking my vehicles straight to Nash Park Auto Body, and letting them fight it out with my insurance company.
