Best way to see the excellent menu and great friendly men who will serve you is to visit.

The outdoor patio was closed but the seating indoors has a nice vibe too & it's wide open so you can see the outside view. We ordered delicious appetizers, chicken wings & fried shrimp & calamari platter, also fried lemon which was very interesting! I actually loved it. Calamari was cooked to perfection, it was melt in the mouth. We ordered 2 main dishes, Steak & fries which was a bit disappointing, we asked for meduim rare & it came well done. We also had steak fajita wrap (Sirloin steak strips, sour cream, salsa, bell peppers, red onion, cheddar cheese), I loved the flavors, but the steak was chewy. We finished our meal with an AMAZING dessert! Maple walnuts cheesecake! OMG so good! I would definitely go back for appetizers & dessert. Paid $102 plus tip. Lots of parking spaces available in front of the restaurant

It's right on the water, so there's a patio in the warmer weather. My family went for a Sunday night dinner to specifically try their Beer Battered Fish and Chips ($22 for a 7oz piece including coleslaw and tartar sauce). It was cold and slightly rainy out so we ate inside. The waitress was very nice and brought a high chair for our little one as well as water. Overall, we were all content with the quality and portion of the Fish and Chips here. In fact, it was some of the best fish and chips I've tried in the Ottawa area. The batter was light and crispy and not overly greasy. The flavours of both the fish and the batter were excellent and well balanced. The portion size was also a good match for the price. The fries were good, too. My wife ordered their Swiss Mushroom Burger since she isn't a big fan of Fish and Chips. Her burger was good and came with a side of Caesar salad at her request instead of fries. The meals were quite filling so we didn't have any dessert. There is plenty of free parking on site. We appreciated the humour of including pictures of the Royal Family on the bathroom doors to differentiate the women's washroom from the men's - that was a fun touch. The vibe is cozy inside the pub and it was fairly busy for a Sunday evening. I can imagine that the pub would be even busier in the warmer weather once the patio opens.

The place was quiet busy and the waitress was definitely worked out but she was very friendly and kind, she also accommodated few plates for the kids. Fish tacos were excellent everything else was ok, but the seating and the view beats it all! I got a virgin Shirley temple which was refreshing! Would definitely come back :)

We heard great things about this place, mostly about the view, and we took our chances during lunch. We were a bit confused at first because you see a "Kelly's Landing" sign, but it's a convenience store with a gas station. There was a nice gentleman standing outside that pointed a parking spot out to us and we saw people going down the stairs outside, on the left side of the convenience store, so we just followed them. The restaurant attached to/below the convenience store. It's important to note the restaurant isn't very accessible because of the stairs (no ramp), and there is limited space in the restaurant. It's fully outdoors, with half of it under a roof but still open, and half of it a patio with umbrellas. It's a seasonal restaurant, open March to October. It was a weekday, so there weren't crazy crowds or lines, but it was full with a waitlist. The wait was about 20 minutes and we waited at one of the benches down by the water. As long as you're not starving, the time goes by pretty fast when you have such a nice view. If you're not sure about waiting outside in the heat, it's also cooler by the water and under the shade of a big tree. It was fun to see people drive their boats there and dock at the restaurant. We sat on the patio but not right at railing closest to the water. Still a great view, though, and a nice breeze. My husband ordered a pint of Goose Island IPA and I got a pint of Mill Street Organic. The draught beers come in either 20oz (instead of a standard 16oz pint like some places) or a pitcher. We ordered the bruchetta to share (to come out at the same time as our mains), he got the steak sandwich, and I got the seafood boxty. The bruschetta was good and gorgeous. It had goat cheese and a balsamic reduction on three toasted baguette slices. I liked like the addition of the goat cheese and balsamic reduction, but it did make it slightly sweeter, which my husband wasn't super into. Their steak sandwich was highlighted as one of their feature/more popular items. It was a sirloin steak with onions and mushrooms on a toasted garlic baguette, with a choice of fries or salad as a side. The steak was cooked to medium rare, as requested. My husband enjoyed it. He mentioned that the garlic bread really made a big difference. I got the boxty because I never had one before and it's supposed to be their specialty. The Kelly's Landing boxty is a potato pancake stuffed like a crepe in a savoury cream sauce, with a side of steamed veggies and potatoes or rice. The seafood boxty has shrimp, scallops, salmon, and crab. The boxty was so good! It was lighter and fluffier than I expected for a potato pancake, a little crispy on the outside and around the edges. There was plenty of seafood in it and also crab in the creamy sauce. The sauce would be salty on its own, but it was nice with the boxty and wasn't poured on top so that you could control how much or how little you wanted. I'm sure you could ask for it on the side, too. The veggies were steamed but still nice and firm, buttery, and well-seasoned. The roasted potatoes were crispy. It was a really great meal! Our server was nice and fairly attentive considering the place was full. Parking was full but easy to get a spot, as people seemed to come and go fairly quickly. I didn't go to the washroom there, but I saw a sign by the dock that said they don't have a septic system and therefore don't have a public washroom. I easily overheat, so I'm not sure if I'd do well in an outdoor restaurant, even shaded, on a super hot day, but otherwise, it's a great way to spend a summer day and we'll definitely be back!
