Stagecoach Greens is a super cute date spot or family night out spot. I dropped by recently (on a date!) and was utterly charmed by the set design of each mini golf course. I loved the walk through SF's history, and felt engaged at every hole. I like billiards so I loved one of the later holes that challenged you to use your putter as a pool cue. The actual square footage of the course is not very big, but they pack a lot in the space they got. I didn't try the food or drinks but there was ample seating. Drinks but not food were allowed on the course itself. All in all not a bad way to spend $20 for a fun evening! read more

I enjoyed a round of minigolf this past Saturday before closing time, after grabbing a meal at Spark Social SF. Usually, I pass the slow people and jump to different holes out of order then come back, but I started early and was in no rush to finish, so I just kept myself busy while waiting for groups ahead of me, including a large party of 6 who kept causing a delay. The boom & bust course was made up of interesting props and decor representing SF landmarks and settings throughout time. Every hole had a starting point with little descriptions and buttons that could be pressed to hear about the history or fun facts about each scene. But only some of the buttons worked. Overall the holes were pretty easy, so for most I got a hole in one or two, but at least the sets were amusing, to keep it interesting. Some of my faves were the Barbary Coast Saloon with old-town piano music playing inside, the Gold Rush Graveyard which has a coffin that opens and lights up, though I think there's a specific hole that activates it (I got it in the left and nothing happened), Alpha In The Air with skyscrapers battling it out, and Spirit of Invention where players are instructed to use their putter as a pool cue (this was different). Some parts were broken and/or closed off, such as one of the Sierra Tunnels Mining Co. tracks covered with blue tape. We were at Spark for my nephews graduation and send off party, so it was a perfect opportunity to show my nephews and nieces my putting skills at mini golf and play 18 holes with them. We didn't have a reservation but they talk walk-ups. We spent over an hour playing as there were some backups on some of the holes but overall it was pretty smooth and challenging. I'm not the biggest mini golf fan but found it to be quite fun. I ended up losing by 1 to my nieces boyfriend so that just means we'll have to run it back for another 18 in the future. To play it was $19 a person (adult price is 12 years of age or older) If you are going, definitely ask for a shorter putter if they have it. It's easier to control as the one I used was pretty long and felt awkward to putt with. read more

I took my wife here on our day off to have some outdoor fun. We paid $19 pp. It'd been a while since either of us did mini golf so we had a good time. Since we stopped by on a late morning weekday, we had the entire course to ourselves, which was really nice. I can imagine how busy it gets on weekends with big groups, families, and kids. Even though we were able to take our time, some of the holes were difficult to complete. I'm not sure if that was by design or if the course is worn down. It could be fixed up in a few spots. We visited this place recently just to be able to be outdoors on a public holiday with beautiful weather. Both my husband and I enjoy mini golf. Although quite crowded with families with kids on the day we visited, Stagecoach Greens was a lot of fun. Very well organized and quite creative when it came to the set up with a San Francisco theme. At $19 per adult and $13 per youth, Stagecoach is quite a fun excursion in the city. It is also conveniently located across the street from SPARK which features a rotation of food trucks & events. So it could end up being a fun filled outing. I would certainly recommend going there. read more

I was looking for a kid friendly activity and came across this on Yelp so I made a reservation ahead of time. We definitely didn't need a res on this Thursday afternoon because we were the only people here besides a group of camp kids who were finishing out. It's an adorable mini golf course that is SF themed. Since we were visiting SF this was a great way to get some education. Mini golf meets sightseeing! It took us about an hour to get thru all 18 holes and we had a great time. It's also connected to a bunch of food trucks which we checked out after. However, we were pretty full from a big breakfast so decided to walk across the street for a Starbucks drink instead after. I could see this being super fun for a party or work offsite between the activity and food trucks so something I'll keep in mind for future work trips. read more

I've been here a few times for work events there's nothing not to like very cute mini golf course lots of photo stations and a food truck park across the way you got all of a food truck park. I've never had any issues here, they do great group events. This time there was a little slowness towards getting our group going, I think they have a new system going on and also I was a little late so can't blame them totally . Overall fun little spot for a group celebration party or just coming on your own with a friend. I don't know exactly how many food trucks there are but there's something for everyone. What an amazing outdoor mini golf course located right next to Spark Social! It's made up of iconic San Francisco landmarks with my favorite being the Chinatown one that has a full size dragon and dragon head. Other fun and cool ones are the ballpark, fortune teller and Sutro tower. A nice little touch is each of the holes even have sound effects and a music track to go with them. I've been to Stagecoach Greens twice, and I will say that they were both unique experiences. The first time was a couple of years ago, on a sunny Saturday afternoon. My family and I enjoyed around of miniature golf at this San Francisco themed spot. Each features something related to the history of California or San Francisco specifically. It is super fun! Each hole and green are well kept, well-maintained. There are some fun ways to get your ball into the cup! The second experience was more recently, and on this day, it was cold and even misting rain. It was still open and we still had fun! Maybe you move a little faster... But it's really great. There were several people ahead of us and behind us as well on this Saturday evening. Don't let the varying climates of San Francisco scare you away! Just dress accordingly. You can get a glass of wine or a beer and take It with you at the near by concession stand. There is also food available, and then across the street there are many food trucks to choose from so you can enjoy a meal there after you play. Reasonably priced family fun. Or take a date! My colleagues were in town for a team offsite and we had dinner at Spark Social and thought it'd be fun to play mini golf afterwards. We paid & reserved a tee time online. The course on a Tuesday evening wasn't insanely busy, although I will say that it can get backed up if there are big groups so bring your patience! There's 18 holes total and many photo opportunities. While we did have a blast overall, it was also very cold and windy that evening and we had a big group in front of us so we ended up skipping 2 holes to get in front of the large group and finish in a timely manner. If you're coming through just remember to bring a coat because this is San Francisco and yes, it does get cold. The entire mini golf course is outdoors with no protection. read more

Before coming here, i saw a review on google that said "best mini golf experience i ever had" and honestly... i can say the same! FYI ALL THE PARKING IN THE AREA DURING THE WARRIORS GAME IS $60 SO BEWARE! We ended up paying and parking and while we weren't planning to do mini golf, it's what we did... and we had a blast! In an urban oasis, it is fun to have the fun enjoyment of outdoor mini golf! Stagecoach greens is in the middle of some type of outdoor space that also has food and beverages for your enjoyment. It was a little hard to find because we went the wrong direction when we entered the area. You can pre-select your tee time online (their preferred method) and show up to play. I appreciate that they try to spread out start times so there is not a large build up of people waiting to play. The course also tells the story of the early days of San Francisco, complete with stories and sound effects for each green. There are lots of fun twists and turns to try to make to get through each one. The only negative is that the harder putts do not really get you closer to the hole. I like that as a motivation for competition. Overall, this is a great place to spend a sunny or cloudy afternoon with friends, enjoying the banter and competition that comes with defeating the obstacles and earning bragging rights with your group! read more

It has a similar vibe to Urban Putt but it focuses on the history of the city and is outdoors. Bonus points for having sunblock out by the front desk. That stuff saved my friends and I! I cannot believe I wasted $65 here for two kids and two adults. This so-called "mini golf course" is a total disgrace. Multiple holes were completely destroyed--ripped turf, cups you couldn't even putt into--making it literally unplayable. The place felt less like a family activity and more like a rundown playground, with unsupervised kids constantly sprinting across the holes and zero staff oversight. For the price, you'd expect at least a functioning course, but what we got was closer to a demolition site. It's insulting they even charge money for this. Save yourself the frustration--there are FAR better mini golf options in the Bay Area. This one should honestly be shut down until they fix it. read more

Without going into details, I took a day off from work and planned a whole day for my friend and I. We promised each other a good time with fun, food, long walks, conversations, and lots of drinks! First stop: I swung by her downtown hotel and uber us over to Parklab Gardens in the morning. She hasn't been in this part of town in years and was super surprised by the new developments. This course has 18 holes, and every one of them tells a story of the West and a bit of San Francisco history. We had so much fun taking photos, playing and just enjoying ourselves. After having walked past it countless times, I finally had the chance to go to Stagecoach Greens. We visited on a weekday night for a 7:30pm tee time, three of us, during which it wasn't too busy. We had ample space between us and those putting at holes before and after us. One thing to note in that you have to make a reservation ahead of time as they do not take same day walk ins. Food is also not allowed but beverages are, which can be purchased from a booth by the entrance to Stagecoach. Once you start mini golf, there are a total of 18 holes to go through. Each one is super inventive and reflects an aspect of San Francisco. We had a ton of fun along each hole trying to hit special shots that were built into the design of the course. I think we spent about just under an hour for the whole experience. Definitely a cool spot to go with friends or on a date. read more

I haven't been mini golfing in a while and this definetly reminded me of my childhood. Fun spot for some mini golf!! I came here for the first time as part of a work event and had a really great time with my coworkers. We started out at Spark Social (right across the street) for some lunch but then made our way over to Stagecoach Greens afterwards. It's an 18 hole course that is San Francisco themed. Each hole is uniquely designed with a brief history and some music you can play before starting each hole. You get a little overview of city starting from the gold mining days to present day. Really cool experience! There were a few that had mechanical issues that weren't functioning properly so I was a little bummed out that I didn't get to experience the full hole. Still fun nonetheless! It's all outdoor so it can be a little chilly depending on the time of day so I suggest bundling up. You can drink alcohol on the course. No food though! Groups of four at a time. Overall, great spot to hang with friends or to host a work event. Lots of food options nearby and seating to accommodate big groups. read more

Miniature golf is one of my favorite past times since I was a little kid, but I haven't mini golfed since 2016. This 18-hole course is small but mighty! One of the best parts is the theme of each hole, which is all San Francisco-based or some historical aspect related to SF. Not sure how the process worked before the pandemic in terms of reservations, walk-ins, or payment. The procedure now is that you reserve online in advance, the schedule is in 15-minute increments. They even have an app that you can download beforehand for you to keep score electronically if you don't want to carry paper/pencil. The app was really cool in terms of its simplicity, design, and function. You can create an avatar! The app even lets you know how many hits to aim for per hole. I love that at the end of the 18th hole, there's a bin to sanitize your putter. Stagecoach Greens was super fun and it took about 70 minutes to complete the course. #28/2021 read more

It's great to play and simultaneously explore the stories, mainly music and sound effects, that inspired each hole by clicking on the button in each of the front stage. What a fun spot for our family! We made reservations online which made things run smoothly when we arrived. Parking can be tough (street parking - which leads you driving around and around until you find a parking spot). Plan accordingly! We checked in and we were quickly ushered the first hole. Fun San Francisco themed holes including Chinatown, Gold Rush, various landmarks and such. Lots of history and learning opportunities at the beginning of each hole so we can reflect on how awesome SF is! Some holes were tricky to get through but that's the fun in it, I guess. I would recommend bringing a coat or jacket, it will get cold! Loved that Stagecoach Greens offers outdoor mini golf in the city! It's a little pricey (advance tickets are $16 for adults, $10 for children) but it's worth it! They put a lot of effort into the course, with each hole providing a little history lesson about SF with a saloon, a shipyard, a graveyard and much more! There are even photo ops along the course. My only complaint was that one of the holes was not operating and had a tarp thrown on top of it. Since we weren't keeping score, we attempted to go for some of the trickier moves (like going up a ramp), but it turns out that it did not get us any closer to the hole. Food is available on site or across the street at Spark Social (which has a lot of food vendors). Bathrooms were clean. There is metered street parking in the neighborhood or at one of the parking lots (which are $$$). Definitely buy your tickets ahead of time and book your tee time to reserve your spot! read more

We reserved a time and was under the impression they staggered the time to lessen the wait time. That wasn't the case. In fact it seemed chaotic and that they tried to shove everyone in as quick as possible . Didn't understand the point of reserving times if they just let huge parties show up. A lot of unattended kids "playing the course" (my friend got Hit with a golf ball). We ended up just skipping over the majority of the holes because it was so crowded. That being said, the course was very creative and fun to Play with friends once we actually got to golf. The food trucks nearby were great too and there were lots of shaded areas to relax at. I don't know If I'd recommend this spot. Maybe if they got a better reservation system. Also Parking is tough so take public transit read more
