Went to check this place out with a friend after looking for fun activities to do in the city and got curious of how indoor mini golf worked. Overall was a pretty fun experience. We did the 18 hole experience, which I would recommend for a longer playing experience, and enjoyed playing around the various holes. Each hole as a different theme and some have different ways you play instead of just trying to hit the ball into hole. For the two of us, the experience lasted about an hour. Total time though can probably change if there's lots of people ahead of you or if you have a large group playing. Do wish some of the holes were a little more challenging as some were pretty easy, but overall it's worth going to if you're looking for something fun to do. read more

Just so people level set expectations, this is WAY different than the original. Gone are the meticulously crafted, SF-endeared beautiful gold holes of the past. What is there now frankly looks like it was shoveled together with $500 of Home Depot supplies in a weekend. There isn't any artistic charm and to me the place felt really cheap. Even the lounge felt cheap somehow. Like cruise ship vibes. There was also very little signage telling you what holes to go to and the staff didn't really give us instructions. I've never played mini-golf before and I went on a Friday afternoon and the place was empty. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. And so it was just the two of us and each station or a hole, I don't know the golf lingo, was very different from the next - super fun and cute. You play 18 holes and it should take about an hour; I think it took about 45 min for us just because there was nobody there and you have four different colors of balls that you could choose from and the music was good but not too loud. So you do downstairs nine holes and you go upstairs and play seven holes and then you go back downstairs to do the remaining two. I had fun, we didn't drink nor eat there but there is plenty of seats and two bars so evening appropriate as well. CC accepted. read more

Really fun mini golf place right in the heart of the Mission (lots of bars and food spots nearby). I heard this replaced Urban Putt so came with 3 friends on a Thursday evening and the vibes were great! We did the 9-hole course and it was fun seeing the creative use of props for each round. I've only been mini golfing a couple of times and only outdoors, so this was a fun and cute place. It wasn't too busy on the day we went and a lot of people were also enjoying cocktails after they finished playing. I would love to come back and experience the 18-hole course. Came in for a team outing of 13 people. Everything was smooth from booking to the end of our stay (do note that they are actually not open Mondays as it's a maintenance day). Sherrie and Eli helped us out when we came in and they were the most gracious hosts. We had food allergies on the team and they were able and happy to accommodate us which was awesome. A fun spot and full of photo ops. I went at opening on a week day when the kiddos were out of school so I'm not sure if that had any bearing on how easy it was to park (me thinks yes) just steps away. It wasn't busy when we arrived but was significantly more so when we finished, 18 holes later. It took the kiddos about 45 minutes to get through the whole course, which was leisurely with plenty of posing. The woman at the front desk was delightful as well as the restaurant/bar staff. Only Shirley Temples for us but looks like there are plenty of cute cocktails, many of which other folks posted. There's an elevator for folks who need it to get to the upper course but friends in wheelchairs will need a little help getting over the step at the entrance. read more

Love this place. The best mini golf experience I've had in a long time and this is coming from someone who grew up in the 80s. Back then, that was basically all you had: Arcades and mini golf. Maybe laser tag if you were lucky. I digress. Compared to some of the other mini golf courses in the city, this feels a lot more complete and well thought out. The holes are fun and colorful, with tons of details and fun twists. The place is well decorated and has a nice, colorful aesthetic without being too overwhelming on the senses. Overall, I think it is a definite improvement from its previous incarnation, Urban Putt. We didn't order any food, but it did smell and look good. We ordered drinks while we golfed and they were easy to order and brought to us quickly. We went on Saturday during the day and there was a great family vibe to the joint. There were scattered couples on dates as well, which made me happy to see - but I suspect I would see a lot more of that if I went after 8 PM, when kids are no longer allowed. Last thing I'll mention is the service. I've been in the city for a long time and as far as I can remember, friendly service has never been considered an important virtue of small businesses. I'm sure in most cases there's great reasons for that (I know SF has traditionally not made it easy for small business and there's a lot of stresses involved). We tend to not expect personable and friendly service. Maybe we even feel suspicious when we see it. Either way, it was nice to see earnest smiles on the faces of people working there. Peter in particular who served us our drinks and the guy working the bar (whose name I didn't get) stood out but everyone there seemed intent on creating a good vibe. We need more places like this in the city. Something families or friends can enjoy without having to go to places Dave & Busters or drive to the suburbs. read more

Did a date night here on a Saturday night around 9pm - we walked in without a reservation and they were able to take us for 9 holes of golf. You can do 9 holes or 18 holes - 9 holes was $15 a person. You get a token to get a ball and pick your own putter. They give you a scorecard as well. They have an area to dine with bar type food and a bar as well with cocktails and beer and wine. They said we could do the nine holes upstairs or downstairs and we chose downstairs. It was really fun! I liked that they had really interesting types of holes - there was one with a digital screen and another with a room full of dollar bills that blow around!
