First time customer. Great staff and amazing customer service however, the wait time is ridiculous! There's no way I had an appointment at 3:20pm but didn't get called to the back until almost an hour later. Then, once in the back, I probably waited an additional 20 min to be seen. My dog was over it, he was ready to go. I have to muzzle him before entering establishments as such so having him in that muzzle for such a long period of time was quite uncomfortable I'm sure. I didn't check out until 5pm. Made it all the way home to see my dog's medicine spilled in the bag. Apparently, the cap was not tight. I gave the hospital a call and they gave me a refill free of charge. Not sure if it's just the fact of being short staffed however, if the wait time wasn't as long I am sure my visit would have been more pleasant. read more

I had an urgent care appointment due to my dog having a bloated belly, throwing up throughout the night, and not too sure what she got into. I called and they got me in within the hour. On our way there my dog got sick EVERYWHERE and when I mean it was a lot it was awful. I left my back hatch open to air it out. And while I was in my appointment a sweet worker (I don't know her name... tall, glasses, tattoo on her forearm) offered to clean it for me! I got out and she had done the best she could. This place went above and beyond for no reason! This worker also deserves major recognition because it was GROSS! So glad I found this place! read more

No matter what time your appointment is you will wait at least 45 min. Even if you're the first appointment in the morning. When you tell them you have been waiting 45 min they say actually it's only been 30 min. So don't show up for your appointment time 15 min early like every other appointment. Show up right on time or late. Also make sure you have a huge line of credit because you will need it since they charge twice as much as any other vet. The front desk staff sincerely hate their jobs, maybe even their lives. They hate that you showed up even more. read more

Update- original visits and exchanges with staff were al and GREAT! Unfortunately, I have dealt with Clara now a few times since Saturday and each each time she is horribly rude and speaks over me. She was supposed to send a prescription over to the pharmacy, never did. I left all information and called again today. She said they see so many people and she didn't recall and that this was her first week. I could understand It being her first week and having a few errors but the unnecessary attitude and excuses for her not doing things each time I have spoke with her is frustrating. Sat in the waiting for 45 minutes after my appt time, only to be sat in the room for another 10 minutes before seeing the doctor. Hour and a half in, still waiting for shots. Get that emergencies happen, but not one person walked in or out while we waited. If there was going to delay to our time, why wait 30 minutes to say something. Then it took another 15 minutes to pay. Dr was nice and the staff was too but the overall customer service was extremely poor and a definite lack of communication to their patrons. read more

I recently adopted a cat from Ft Hood animal shelter and they missed a cyst on his front left leg, my cats leg had gotten so swollen he couldn't walk, the cyst became infected and spread from his shoulder to his ankle, he wouldn't have made it to tomorrow if they didn't see him today! My mom called 7 vet clinics today and none of them had any openings for weeks except stagecoach! They were down a dr today, and they still took on my cat! They fixed him up so quick and gave us antibiotics, he is doing better already and will make a full recovery! This is how a vet should be! Thank you stagecoach vet! We recently adopted two puppies and we were looking for a vet for care needs for our puppies. Stagecoach per hospital has reasonable puppy packages for our newest additions. Although the waiting room is small most of the dogs in the waiting room were friendly and welcoming. My family has been taking our fur babies to Stagecoach since we relocated to Texas and honestly can say that it is one of the best vets we have ever gone to. If not the best! We always have exceptional service! Everyone from the reception team to Vet Tech to the Vets, they are all respectful, kind and compassionate. One of our pets who was 16 years old, passed away in the middle of the night, we called Stagecoach the next morning and asked if we could bring him and if they organized cremations. They were so comforting and understanding, they helped us pick the perfect box for George's ashes, and organized the whole thing. I rave above this vet to EVERYONE I talk to about where we take our pets. Honestly, word of advice don't take your pets anywhere else but here! read more

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. I felt very welcome and the staff listened to my concerns and asked many questions before treating my cat. It was easy to get an appointment on the spot. Due to COVID the staff came to the car yo pick up the pets. The parking spots were marked with numbers to let the staff know where the car was parked. The staff wore masks and gloves for protection. I felt that my cat was well taken care of and I will take my other pets there as well. I brought my dog here and haven't looked back since! When I brought my dog I had noticed a irritation on her stomach and she ended up need surgery the following morning. Both doctors that cared for my dog were fast, diligent and nothing short of amazing. I feel as though they have treated my dog as if she was their own from the very second we stepped foot in the building. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone. Stagecoach has exceeded my expectations each time I've come. Every staff member they have is fantastic and they all really seem to care about the well being of the animals that come to them. I am very disappointed with our experience. We are newly stationed in Texas and when we chose this facility to care for our fur babies we did not expect the lack of professional service we received. We emailed their team to address these concerns and we were ignored. We had an appointment for our 3 dogs atleast 2 weeks in advance and we waited over an hour to be seen. The waiting staff is helpful and kind and they are the only reason that we gave any stars at all. We understand that they were busy, but when we actually saw the vet she spent less than a minute looking at our dogs and she did not give us any feedback or information. Then she said she would be back with the paperwork and we never saw her again. We were unable to ask her any questions and she did not care about any of our concerns. ( I have dogs that suffer from epilepsy and I could not even ask her about the treats I give them.) I am disappointed that the friendly staff that made our visit barable only received a fraction of the $300+ we "donated" to the facility. The vet got paid for neglecting our needs and more importantly the need of our dogs. We only got their rabies shots done when we were needing to get more and now we have to wait and find help somewhere else. read more

Took my 15 year old very nervous cat here for vaccines and an annual check up. Despite their current protocol due to COVID, they allowed me to come into the building with her to reduce her stress and everyone was so lovely. Over the phone, I was able to voice my concerns and receive exemplary feedback from Marilyn (hope I spelled her name right) because I was new at being a dog parent. She explained to me different solutions to what my dog could need. She gave great advice about behavior, not to look online for specific answers but to ask my vet. Our kitty needed an urgent care, last min appointment. We found this vet thru yelp, crossed our fingers and gave it a shot. I am so glad we did! They were able to fit us in as a walk in, and were wonderful. The curbside attentiveness was awesome! Nothing was done without our knowledge and consent, and a little over an hour after getting there, we are back home, all taken care of, including meds! I took my newly adopted 8year old bichon frise in to establish care. The vet tech took us back and spent time reading over her history and getting to know our dog. He took his time and made sure he had all the info he would need for the vet. The doctor we saw seemed knowledgeable and suggested surgery to remove some loose teeth - this wasn't a shock as I knew she needed some dental work. We agreed that while she was under she should have a growth removed from her neck. I was given an estimate of $650-$800 for the surgery. I scheduled it for two weeks from that day. On the day of surgery I arrived early and when we went over the fees, I pointed out another growth and asked if we could get it seen to as well while she was under anesthesia, but it would depend on how much it cost if I could afford to have it done. The vet tech brought the estimate which doubled from its original. I was shocked. I could not afford to pay the doubles amount and she assured me that she had included things in the estimate that may not be necessary and that it would most likely be less than that. I left my baby there and then came back and called to say we couldn't do the surgery because I didn't like that the estimate had doubled. The vet herself called and spoke to me and assured me that the original estimate was right and then called each time she did anything that would cost more. While I was very unhappy with the way I was given the cost on the day of surgery, the entire staff worked with me, stayed professional and put my precious dog's best interest first. They took excellent care of her. The after care was wonderful and all the techs were very friendly and kind. I would use them again, but I would discuss the cost of surgery or procedures much more in-depth before the day of surgery. read more

I had a terrible experience at Stagecoach. Based on all of the good reviews I decided to go there but the doctors repeatedly caused more damage than good. I took my dog here for a broken limb and received treatment. I then followed up on two separate occasions to more reputable veterinarian clinics and both of them could not believe Stagecoach decided to treat the injury this way. For emergencies the temple veterinarian hospital is much better, and I would have saved a lot of money. read more

Only 3 Stars because I waited an hour and 20 minutes before I saw the vet!!!!! It was insane waiting in that tiny room with my 3 kids! My final bill for office visit and medication was $95 dollars. A few years ago, we brought our sweet pup to Stagecoach first thing in the morning after he was showing some serious signs of Parvo. The staff were all extremely helpful, and even though they gave him a 50/50 chance, he pulled through and we are still thankful for them and their care to this day. Sadly, we had to move recently and our new location's options for vet care doesn't even come close to measuring up to Stagecoach. Their office is clean and making appointments was super easy. All of the staff members were very accommodating and loving towards our nervous/shy dog at any of his routine visits. Well I dont know what happened lately. The vet I saw last time wasnt there any more. I should find out where she went, because this last time I went in there, it was ALL about upselling. Took one of my dogs in there to have some lumps removed. They charged me a bit of a high price, and kept trying to charge me for things like shots I didnt ask for (I do those myself, $7 from the feed store), heartworming which I didnt ask for, biopsy which I didnt ask for, and then would argue with me when I asked them to take one thing off, and stop adding things I dont want. When people like me just want their animal taken care of, we dont want to be treated like we're in a used car lot with a salesman, and have to read every piece of paper to make sure they didnt sneak something into the contract. Buyer beware...read the pieces of paper they give you, they cant be trusted. Otherwise, the surgery went fine, dog healed well, and job was done right. Oh, and I love the front desk ladies. We had good experiences with this vet until recently took our beloved pet to get spayed and she died 4 hours later. We were then told that once she crashed they removed her belly band to see a lot of bleeding. I'm really concerned as to why they didn't check the incision site at all until she bled out and it was too late. Heartbroken to say the least. Our family has been left completely shattered for what I feel like was incompetence. Feeling overwhelmingly guilty for not doing our due diligence and finding a more experienced surgeon. To add insult to injury we then had to pay an $1100 bill. read more

We are new to Stagecoach and our first appointment for our kitty they were able to get us in same-day to treat an IBS flare-up. Fast forward. Few weeks later and the A/C went out in our home. Temperatures grew too high for our cat to stay safely in the house and when I called to get the doctor's opinion on the matter, the clinic offered to keep him kenneled for us for the day, free of charge, in hopes that a solution would be found to the A/C problem. We ended up having to kennel the poor guy for 4 days but the staff took excellent care of our old guy and they were SO patient with all of my phone calls and drop in requests to visit with him. I was only in the area a few days when I needed to take my dogs to a vet. I visited another vet in the area, but my gut feeling was to try a different place. I stopped by Stagecoach to chat. I was greeted with smiles and I immediately felt comfortable with the office staff. My small dog was treated for an ear infection/allergies, along with yearly shots. At a later date, I had to make the decision to let me older dog pass over the rainbow bridge. The staff was very professional and "held my hand" thru the whole process.
