Jon came out to review our project, gave us suggestions (which we asked for and needed) and from there on it continued with prompt arrivals, follow through and complete customer satisfaction!!! Dave and his crew installed new overhead lighting in our kitchen, living room and office; new track lighting, etc. all with fun dimmer switches. Love the new under cabinet kitchen lights also! I'm sorry this review is so late. In September 2020 we decide to have a whole house standby generator installed. We called several companies. Most were busy and wouldn't come out for an estimate. The first company was called to setup an estimate, the reply was he would call right back, but didn't. He would finally give us an estimate at twice the estimate from Stallings Electric. Stalling's came out and gave us a fair price. Our project was difficult because our power supply and gas supply were on opposite sides of our house. We ordered the generator. Once it was delivered, Stallings came out poured the conreate pad, let it dry, and did the installation, in one day. We are very happy with the end product. read more

I contacted Dave Stallings when my Generac 22KW generator, installed in 11/2019, threw a rod and needed to have the motor replaced. He told me that he thought he had the very motor in stock in his shop and asked for the serial number so he could verify its warranty status, confirm that he had the correct motor, and schedule the repair. I immediately gave him the serial number. When I had not heard from him in a couple of days I called him back and asked what he had learned about the warranty status, whether he had the correct motor, and when he would do the repair. Without answering my questions, he asked this time for me to send him a picture of the registration sticker on the generator itself. I sent it to him promptly. When I heard nothing back from him for a couple of days more, I got in touch again with the same questions. This time he said he would send out his "boys" to inspect the generator and get the serial number (!!!???). I did not see his assistants on the day they were supposed to have visited, but he told me he now had the information he needed and would get back to me. When I heard nothing further from him for a week, I called the Generac 800-number in order to verify the warranty status myself. When I gave the serial number to a helpful Generac person, it took all of two minutes for him to tell me that my generator motor and alternator were still under warranty for another year. He also told me that although Stallings Electric was certified as a Generac dealer "for sales", it was not a certified Generac dealer "for service", and that any work they did for me therefore might not be covered by my warranty, Early the next morning, I called back Dave Stallings - now two weeks after I had originally spoken to him - and, after he expressed surprise at what I had been told by Generac, this time he told me he was going to verify the warranty status himself, confirm that he had the correct motor, and get back in touch with me by email that very day. At 8:22 that evening I received an email from him telling me that the motor he had was not the correct motor for my generator and that I would need to look elsewhere for service, saying "Sorry for the bad news" and "Good Luck on finding another company to do your engine swap." He could, of course, have established all of this within hours of my initial call. Instead, he chose to put me off, waste my time, and outright lie about what he could do or was doing for me, I do not consider him a reputable business owner, and I obviously will never do business with him in the future. read more

I owned an Eichler for over 40 years and have had a lot of work done over the years therefore dealing with a variety of specialists. Dave was extremely professional, punctual, thorough, efficient and detailed. Quick at understanding the issues, communicating clearly what was necessary to do or not and performing his work without any hesitation, installing new dedicated lines, new exterior and interior gfi outlets, motion lights, rewiring...
