Amy Kaplans office has been by far the most inconsistent/uncommunicative agent I've had yet. I've been with them for about a year now. It feels like almost every month something is going on with my bill, and I have to call and get it situated. What's encouraging me to leave a 1 star review is is absolute lack of communication on their end. When I started my policy here, I initially only had one car on my policy. Then at the start of this year (23) I added an additional vehicle. It was only about a month I had 2 cars on my plan. I was never told because I had two cars on my policy that added a "multi car discount" onto my policy making my rate cheaper. At the end of January I took off one of my cars leaving only my truck on the policy. When I did this they never informed me that this would take that discount off making my rate more expensive. It's been about 4 months since I changed the policy and this month my bill went from $120 (full coverage) to $180. When I called to see why she told me I was no longer eligible for that discount AND they were going to back date my policy since I went about 4 months with that discount. This was NEVER communicated through out the process. This is not a good building block to build a relationship with a client that pays your bills. $60 is quite a significant jump when you are on a budget. I feel like this is a bad representation for a company and has put a bad taste in my mouth towards State Farm. I have switched my agent and will be looking around for a new provider. I'm quite disappointed, especially since I've been with this provider for so many years.

Her husband noticed the damage and she told Skip I'd insisted she time my insurance card. He called me up and THANKED me for being a good honest person. My insurance did NOT go up. I've never been late on a payment, as i opted for automatic payments to receive the discount. Several times now I've been shocked by the amount debited to my account. When i call this office for an explanation there is always something such as "a multiple car discount was removed from your account" (which i haven't had multiple cars on my account for over two years, and this excuse has been used twice already when payments jumped drastically) or there's been an adjustment to your premium due to this reason or another. I've never been given a heads up there will be higher payments. I've been told several times that an initial higher payment was taken out, but the next few will be lower, only to be surprised again the following month. The only reason i haven't changed insurance companies yet is because i have enjoyed the coverage and i hate changing companies, as i prefer a long-standing business relationship. Unfortunately, Mr. Reeves seems to not care about this at all and offers no help and no understanding how some people live on a budget despite multiple attempts and pleas to have him provide a more stable payment routine. I am extremely disappointed with this business and it is not at all what i knew of state farm businesses in previous states I've lived in.
