Spaces are extremely tight, which increases the risk of vehicle damage. Security is also a concern -- lighting in certain areas is inadequate, and there does not appear to be a strong visible security presence. For the cost of parking permits and daily fees, students and visitors deserve a safer, better-organized facility. Improvements in signage, lighting, traffic flow, and overall security would make a significant difference in the experience and safety of everyone using the deck.

It fills up fast AND you can get a discount depending on when you book. We had little to no trouble getting in, just showed our email stating we paid and they let us right in to park. Getting out was a bit of a circus so I took a star off for that but once the parking attendents stepped in and started directing people it ran much smoother. Again get there early as its just a short 2-3 min walk from the theater but it can fill up fast, esp since its the main paraking for the college as well.

I was able to find a document from the early 1800s regarding the marriage of my ancestors, it was amazing. This Library offers more than just books for you to view it offers a window into history, life and Virginia the good and the bad.

However, the folks at Marshall Bros were professional, and in-kind, I was too. YES, I would've appreciated knowing where they were *actually* located (I went to Roseneath as per 911 and a web search), that my car was safe, and when was the soonest I could come get it -- they really should add that info on their outgoing voicemail message, but they don't. I hope my post here offers you the info you're needing. 1. If you're towed after 7pm / before 8:30am YOU WILL NOT get your car back that day. At 7pm the phone goes unanswered, try to enjoy your evening, call back in the morning. 2. Marshall Bros is not in Scotts Addition anymore, haven't been for awhile. The police seem not to have that info correct either. The gal at Marshall Bros told me they've tried to fix it with the city, but I guess no one has applied that info to 911 / 311 records. 3. Rest assured your car has been taken to a gated lot. When I inspected mine there was no damage to my car. And stupidly, I left my wallet in the car. I was relieved that nothing was stolen. 4. Contrary to other reviews, they take all credit cards. I was charged $125. 5. Retrieval at 8:30 is easy and fast. Being a fan of Marshall Bros is a bit of a stretch, and I'm not disputing others bad experiences, but I'd like to add balance to the many poor reviews I read last night. They made me very nervous. In hindsight, now that I have my car back, it was as good as a towing experience could be. Now if they'd only re-record their voicemail giving folks some info, THAT would be 5-stars.

At the Kroger lot at 901NLombardy St, no signage indicated a 2-hour parking limit, yet the tow company claimed that I violated this limit. Because there was no posted time-limit signage, I could not have known that my vehicle was allegedly parked too long, and therefore the tow was improper and in violation of Virginia law.

I gave a star for each plus that we experienced. One big annoyance was that the signs to direct folks to the exit were few and far between --which actually presents a safety hazard. If you are really trying to find your way out and you are looking for the hard to identify 'exit' signs in the spirit of 'where's Waldo,' then you may not catch a car backing out in time or pedestrians walking to the elevator or their own vehicle. We were also irritated that the parking attendant told us she didn't have any change. This was so odd and we didn't know hpw she figurd she would handle the massive amount of vehicles exiting the garage.

Door staff and security are easy and friendly, the facilities are always clean and kept up nicely. The event staff ranges from friendly to unsuitable but I think they're usually hired by an agency, so we'll take the good with the bad. The Siegel Ctr doesn't leave much for one to desire. Parking sometimes isn't all that fun but it always works out. Good venue for local sports and other events.

We attended a Candlelight Concert featuring a quartet of strings performing Vivaldi's "The Four…read moreSeasons" at Bolling Haxall House in Richmond. This beautiful concert was just over one hour long, and it was a real treat! The foyer and concert hall were lit with about 2,000 candles. The sound was crisp and clear. Tickets are sold by section, with Section A being the closest rows to the stage. We lucked out with front row seats. While they performed classical music tonight, we learned they also perform renditions of music by contemporary artists as well. We highly recommend!
