Amazing! We travel from Merced up to Castro Valley just to have imaging done. It's easy to make appointments, the wait time has always been quick. The images have always been good. When we had imaging done in Merced, a lot of the time, doctors would ask us to have them done again at a different location. That is how we found out about Stanford Medicine Partners. The technicians here have always been friendly and knowledgeable. The quality of care is top notch. SMP has top of the line equipment. This is our preferred spot.

I've been a long time patient of Stanford. This particular medical office has almost everything. It's very clean and maintained. Very modern as well. They have on each floor showing staff and wait times. I have not had issues with appointments. The appointments have rarely been long waits. The staff, physicians and nurses have been helpful and friendly. I have never experienced a rude and disrespectful staff member here. I usually come to this location for lab work, X-ray's needed, see my physician here if I can't see her in the other Hayward office. Their care is great and I have never had issues. I would recommend this location to others. [116R,2025]

Appointments are spaced out well so you don't feel like you are jam packed and are actually seen in a timely manner. Clean facility. Parking lot has so many compact spots but the normal size spots grill up quick. But overall parking is easy. I'm surprised at the overall low rating as my experience has been positive. The check in team is always friendly and seldom a wait and if there is a wait it's quick.

I am incredibly disappointed with my recent experience at Stanford Castro Valley Radiology Center and will be filing a formal corporate complaint.First, the scheduling and communication here are completely broken. X-rays are handled on a walk-in basis. Despite arriving early, eight people who arrived after me were called back and seen before me. When I finally demanded an explanation, the radiology staff was unprofessional and defensive. They claimed they deliberately delayed my X-ray to keep it close to a secondary procedure I had scheduled an hour later. This terrible logic prolonged my total time at the clinic by 1.5 hours. To make matters worse, the radiology team then blamed the check-in staff, claiming they were never informed of my arrival. Nobody took ownership, and no one bothered to explain the timeline to me while I sat waiting. However, the most egregious breach of safety and privacy happened in the changing area. A male technician swung open the door of the dressing room while I was actively changing. He did not knock or give any notice. He was accompanied by a male patient, and neither of them averted their eyes or stares. I barely had time to scramble out of the room before the technician casually told the other patient he could go in and change. This clinic lacks basic operational competence and essential privacy measures. The dressing room doors do not even have functioning locking mechanisms. I am deeply shaken by the complete lack of patient privacy, the failure to communicate test timings, and the dismissive attitude of the staff. Avoid this facility if you value your time and physical privacy

You never see them. The place is run by entitled nurses who have a lot more attitude than compassion or empathy. The best thing about this place has been mental health worker Peaches. This place needs to build her a statue. She really cares and she brightens up my day. There are a couple other workers but I'll leave them anonymous. Some people who work here really do care. Some staff are just here to sleep. Treat you like your less than a dog. It's been absolutely horrible being here during the COVID-19 outbreak. Where normally I would get passes I've been on lockdown for over four months. That's enough to drive anybody pissed. All I've been looking for these people to do is to help me find a place to live and they can't even do that. Plus when you get here they don't tell you they're charging you $1,000 on top of whatever they're getting from your insurance. It's one big scam. Please do your best to bond with your family and don't come to Villa Fairmont.

My range of motion never returned back to normal despite the false reassurance by Dr. Stein. The therapists requested my insurance for more therapy sessions so they could try something different to see if they could get my full range of motion back. Even though my insurance approved the sessions, Jenn the PA ended up canceling my sessions being adamant saying I didn't need them. Then she unprofessionally kept arguing with me and said there's nothing else they would be willing to do to remedy the situation. I left a very frustrating voicemail for her asking why they would treat me like that. Not only did she not reply, but a week later, I received a discharge letter in the mail. Fast forward to this week, I had another injury to my hand. Knowing I have limited transportation and access to another hand clinic , I tried calling EB Hand again. I explained the discharge history to the receptionist, but she told me there was no record of me being discharged on file. So then I sent my referral to them and proceeded to book the appointment. I get three hasty call attempts maybe an hour later basically telling me they dug up files from 5 years ago saying I was discharged from their practice. I would avoid this practice like the plague. They mostly deal with Worker's Comp patients, and all they want to do is collect money from your insurance. Whether or not you experience a full recovery or they live up to their treatment promises is of absolutely NO PRIORITY to them. Beware! Zero stars for the medical staff. The one star is for Mike and Joe, the therapists, who were always great to me.
