I was excited to try it, and yes the bottle 100% did say TESTER. As I opened the lid with the intention of squeezing a tiny dollop, the bottle accidentally gushed out about 3/4 of a tablespoon because it had been strangely pressurized. It was slightly more than I could use, and very wet. Of course, the moment this happened, the owner, Ereeda, came out. I was graciously apologetic about the incident and inquired as to whether she had a napkin or paper towel, because it was clear that I couldn't rub it into my hands to be absorbed. I was shocked at her reaction. She curtly said, "No" with an air of major arrogance and disdain. She then proceeded to place my jacket on the table (she knew why I was there, as I had called before coming) and then turned and left the room. The clincher here is that I noticed as she was walking away that there was a full roll of paper towels no more than 8 feet from where we had been standing!!! Now, I'm not an idiot, and I think it's clear what was going on. Seeing as (A) I was not a paying customer and (B) I wasted some of their product, she wasn't willing to spend the extra 5 cents or however much to give me one of her paper towels. Or maybe it was because I was wearing jeans and a sweat shirt and hadn't put on any makeup? I almost felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman in the shopping scene. Anyhow, I had been polite and friendly, and had been seriously considering purchasing this lotion. Due to her attitude, I did not buy anything. It's been a long time since anyone has treated me this rudely. Moral of the story: If you own a business, treat your clientele (and really, anyone who enters your business) with kindness and respect. I've had many services here, including the hammam spa treatment, facials, and body wraps. Everything has been fine except for the facials. Regarding the facials: I've had problem skin that I was managing OK by myself, but I wanted better skin in preparation for my wedding. Mahin told me that the products I was using were too harsh on my skin and that if I got facials with her and used the products she recommended, my skin would become awesome. She mentioned previous clients whose skin she has turned around because these clients followed Mahin's regimen. Well, I was curious so I decided to try it. She seemed so nice and so genuine, so convinced she could help my skin. After 4-5 months of facials twice a month & following her skincare product regimen carefully, my face was worse than it started out. Acne, scarring, etc. By then, it was 2 months before the wedding... that's when I finally quit Mahin. Too late, though -- with all that acne and scarring, I needed a really thick spackle-job of makeup to cover it all up on the wedding day. So, fair warning. Maybe Mahin's expensive facials-and-products regimen works for some people, but it certainly didn't work for me after months of trying it and a lot of money down the drain.

The lady complains to me before I pay about the previous customer being picky asking her not to use her phone during his appointment and to lock the front door during his appointment. I did not appreciate her stating the suggested tip percentage was 30% as she had me pay before I received the service. For a deep tissue massage it was $90, but then when I used my credit card I was charged a $4.50 "service charge". She asked me if I had cash before I took out my credit card. Tip is based on the quality of service which completely missed the mark. During my one hour massage session, aside from leaving the room twice to fetch wet towels, she left the room an additional four or more times to talk to whoever walked into the business downstairs each time taking at least 2-3 mins. She had her phone sound on. You could hear a pinging sound for every text message she received and she even send some voice memos during my session and picked up several phone calls. She complained to me during the session something about it's hard to find girls to work for her. She could just subscribe to an online booking appointment system. When people get a massage they want to relax. I don't know why she thinks talking, texting, and running in and out of the room is professional. She only went two minutes over the starting time 62 mins in total. For all the time she spent multitasking and leaving the room it was disrespectful and wasn't worth the price.
