I was excited to be part of their ambassador program. I was emailed all the requirements and "contract" of sharing the box on social media. Ambassadors are also required to pay $14.99 for the box as a discount since we are in the program through a website called Cratejoy.com. My first payment was deducted on 10/28/21, I received my box early November, and did my part by sharing my review on all my social media and blog platforms. I noticed that I had another $14.99 deduction on 11/11/21, and I was expecting another box for late November, but according to Cassandra, the 10/28, charge was the November box. Usually when a payment is made on the same month you get that box for that month. That has been my experience with past beauty boxes. I cancelled my ambassador subscription at the end of November, to avoid getting charged again in December since I had not gotten the 11/11 box yet. I continued to wait for the box I was owed and never received anything for the months of November or December. Per the Cratejoy website Cassandra states: "Your box will ship on the 20th of every month although you can order a kit any day of the month to "try"!" So thinking this was a monthly subscription, I contact Cassandra and her team and I am told that it is NOT a monthly subscription and December, was their giveaway month for their Anniversary, and they were focusing on that. I tell them that I got charged twice on Cratejoy and they still owed me one box. They informed me they would sort everything out. Since they told me, December was their giveaway month I looked into it on their Instagram and I entered their giveaway through one of their third parties that was hosting and won a box. I received that giveaway box which made me feel a little better since I was still missing the box I was charged for on 11/11. At the end of December, I contact Cassandra once again to tell her my experience and that I was still missing a box for 11/11. She informed me that I would be getting their January box. January came and left and I sent her P.R. team a message on Instagram on 2/6/22, stating if they already sent their January box? They responded with a message saying, "yes they have, it is February." I told them that I was supposed to be sent a box per Cassandra, but never received it. I also asked if they could verify if I even was on the January mail list and if not, I would like a refund. They then forward my message to Cassandra and she messages me on Instagram. I AGAIN told her what happened and I am frustrated at the whole situation because I keep repeating myself. She tells me that I cancelled back in November, and then offered her subscription AGAIN! I reiterated, I was charged on 10/28 and 11/11, and included the box I had received plus the giveaway that did not count. She then states: "If you won & entered a giveaway I'm not sure exactly what you expected? For us to send you two of the same box?.. we don't have enough for that and I told you we didn't have a kit for December .. our next box comes out next week. I'll manually put your order in today and you'll get a notification from lash binder." Cassandra lost her professional status and came across as I was in the wrong. I then asked her for a refund of what I was owed. She then told me that she already had processed my order for the next box. She also stated that she has no control over the Cratejoy website and that I would have to take it up with them for a refund (then why use them if you have no control over them?) She also said she has been on maternity leave and that she runs the boxes herself (then why do you have a P.R. team Instagram then? Congratulations on the baby but this is still a business. ) Cassandra's frustration grew and she stated she could just Venmo me the refund to be done and stop explaining or arguing her stance. I accepted her Venmo refund  and she canceled the box she had processed. The whole situation and lack of customer service was very disappointing. I kept getting the run around and different information from what is on her Cratejoy website. It's a shame because her beauty boxes are great, but the way she treats her ambassadors that are trying to promote her business is horrible in my experience. I wish Cassandra and her team the best of luck in their endeavors.
