I was a little nervous because I had never done a brow lamination before, but Jennifer was very attentive and made sure I was okay with what she was doing. I had a mirror in my hand the whole time to see the process and kept asking me if everything looks good. She gave me her opinion on what I could also do with my eyebrows (shaping), but of course she said it was my choice. She took her time which I really love. This review is long overdue. Melissa is amazing at what she does. Ever since she's been doing my eyebrows, I've felt more confident and I get compliments from people. For over 20 years, I did not trust anyone to wax my brows, as I had a bad experience in high school from another salon. I just plucked them myself. Until I met Melissa. I trust her and no one else when it comes to my eyebrows. Her calm energy also helps me relax and sometimes have a little nap in the chair while she's working on me. (She's a Reiki practitioner too!) I'm typically not someone who feels the need to post Yelp reviews. I've only ever posted 2 in the past, which were both 5-stars for businesses that I wanted to recognize for their great service. However, I feel like this is my last resort. I made a lamination appointment with Jennifer and long story short wasn't happy with the results. I reach out and she texted me back asking what the issue was so she could either fix it or give me my money back for the service. I sent a reply explaining and asked for the refund that she offered since I didn't have time to come back in. Several weeks went by with no response and no refund. I reached out again to follow up and we had a few back and forth exchanges where she then offered me a $50 refund and then she said it was unfair for me to be asking for a refund at all. I asked if we could set up a phone call to communicate better and we set up a date and time and I asked her to call me when she could since she made it clear to me she was busy. It has been 2 days since then and I have still not received the call. At this point I am done reaching out because the refund isn't worth the time/effort to chase it down. I feel like this could have been easily avoided if a refund wasn't initially offered up front or if I received a reply 3 weeks ago when I had agreed to the refund to clear up expectations. Instead, I heard nothing for weeks and when I followed up was made to feel like I was being unreasonable. I thought this whole interaction was super unprofessional and disappointing. read more

After my time here, I now know more about my eyebrows than ever before. I had the pleasure of meeting Grisel and Jennifer, and they are the loveliest ladies! Jennifer did a lash lift and cleaned up my eyebrows to give them more definition.
