Since I recently have a new job with insurance, I have wanted to take better care of my oral health and a coworker of mine recommended this office. I wanted somewhere that was welcoming, non-judgemental, and friendly. Diane Downton's office was all of those things and BEYOND it. I have never felt so comfortable and cared for in a dental office in my life. I was very embarrassed and nervous and Megan (the dental hygienist) was beyond kind and reassured me that it is all okay. She was very friendly and did a great job educating me and explaining everything. When I met Dr. Downton, she was so happy and kind to me. It was an overall incredible experience and I hope to stay with them for all my years to come, and will recommend them to everyone who is looking for outstanding dental care and a place that will make you feel welcomed.

Over the summer I came in because a part of my tooth cracked and came off. I needed a root canal, my first one ever. I was nervous but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, although it did tick me off a little when I had a camera in my mouth while he was taking an x-ray and he forgot to put the led vest on me. maybe the radiation will enable me with superpowers I can use to take down bad dentists! 2 months after my root canal part of the filling from my tooth came out! WTF?! and since my tooth was nothing but a hollow shell it weakened it and small pieces come off every so often. today at work I was eating a granola bar and it somehow drew out a remaining part of the filling and now I can feel another hole in my tooth, it's awful. I haven't brushed in months because I'm afraid it will actually damage my tooth! seriously, you shouldn't be afraid to brush after going to a dentist! a family member of mine also had a bad experience here, he had a cap put on his tooth by dr Conti and it fell off within 6 months! one of Conti's assistants was getting on my nerves too. during my root canal she would crack jokes with him and it seemed very unprofessional, like it was business as usual and they didn't care about my well-being. a couple weeks later when I went back to pay my bill this same woman was there at the reception desk gossiping on the phone with a friend about going out drinking like she was in her early 20's (she was in her 40's). also, their hours aren't great if you're a workin man. They're open til 5 on monday and maybe tuesday, but then wed, thurs, and friday they close at 2 and they're closed on the weekends. Marusich might be a good dentist, I don't know, but don't let doctor Conti anywhere near your mouth, Marusich needs a new partner!

This Aspen can get pretty busy at times, so it might help to schedule your appointment for an earlier time of day if possible.

Appointments seemed to be double-booked -- I waited far past my scheduled time more than once, and it was obvious they were trying to move patients through as quickly as possible. Communication was poor, and I often felt like I was being upsold instead of genuinely cared for. Dr. Birdsall refused to do the extraction despite extreme pain due to an extraction with 2 roots being too complex, in his words. Left the office in excruciating pain in tears and given a prescription for round 2 of antibiotics. Their next move was to mail a dismissal letter. Pretty humorous for a PPO patient with perfect teeth otherwise paying cash for urgent service. My regular dentist was "flabbergasted" at Dr. Birdsall's refusal to take action, I can only imagine how he would react to the unprofessional conduct for a patient left in pain after the fact.

Unfortunately, after being a patient for almost 40 years, maintaining my schedule of periodontal maintenance, ALWAYS always paying my bills on time, this is the way I was treated .Will not feel comfortable in returning to this office. Will only make appointments for ESTABLISHED patients 3 weeks ahead of time, yet if you can not come within the 6 month time frame, they penalize and charge you extra money for routine cleaning. As I was told "it doesn't matter if you are one day over the 6 month timeline , we charge you extra .

First time I told her in the phone call that I was traveling, and she said it was fine to see the doctor. So I drove 1 hour (I live in Ithaca) down to his office and when someone was checking me in I told them again I was traveling and that person said I wasn't allowed to come in (I said I called and that person said it's fine, but the person said they are sorry but can't let me in). I had to drive back for 1 hour. Second time my roommate was tested positive for COVID and I called immediately the office to let them know I need to be quarantined for 2 weeks and they said I could schedule later. After I got cleared and I got vaccines, (I know Dr. Bleier with older age he wants to make sure patients are careful and I wanted to create a safe environment for the doctor) I called them again and the front desk lady Nancy won't schedule me again because I "cancelled" 2 of my appointment. I'm an Asian college student and I feel very offended and discriminated. I tried to call them again, but the front desk lady Nancy just pretended she couldn't hear me and hang up. I wasn't in the waiting room more than 5mins. before they called me back (I'm used to waiting for at least a half hour at my old dentist) Their equipment is more up-to-date than I'm used to so everything went so quick. Whenever i had gone to the dentist before, i always left with my mouth hurting. Not this time. The women that did my xrays were quick and very efficient. I didn't have to retake the pictures, like at other places. Everything was done right the first time. The dental hygienist was quick and very gentle. She answered all my questions, regardless of whether they were general dentistry questions or about specific procedures. Very informative. The dentist, Dr Grossman, was very nice and addressed my concerns (i need my wisdom teeth out soon) and he gave me a referral to a great oral surgeon I've heard about. Dr Kamodia and his staff are very professional, caring and gentle. They provide routine dental care and complex procedures. The office atmosphere is very calming and I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for an appointment.
