Hired Stanley Steemer to clean duct work twice in less than a year. The first time, we were living in a house temporarily while searching for our forever home. My husband has COPD and my daughter has severe asthma and allergies, and the previous owners had never had the duct work cleaned, and all 3 of us were getting sinus infections and/or bronchitis back to back. So we had Stanley Steamer come out to clean the duct work, and they were awesome. We stopped getting sick, and things were great. So great in fact, that a few months later, we ended up finding a home we loved, but unfortunately, the duct work was needed a serious cleaning, and it was a no-brainer to call Stanley Steamer. However, this time, they stuff an awful job. In one month of them coming, we've had to change the air filters in our furnace 5 (FIVE) times! It's like they stirred everything up and pushed it into the bottom of the furnace instead of sucking it all out (you can see the chunks of dust and debris everywhere when you pull the filter out, and the filters are FULL of the dust and debris with each changing). I repeatedly reached out to speak with a manager (literally every week for the last 6 weeks) and each time, I was told that I'd receive a call back, but never get a returned call. The amount of unprofessionalism is absolutely insulting! When they'd came the first time, I was present for the entire job, and watched everything they did, but the second time at our new home, my realtor was the only one there, and was busy filling out paperwork, so there was no actual supervision. Since they've left, we're having to change the filter our weekly, and dust daily. My husband has been hospitalized, and my daughter and I have been on antibiotics 3 times over sinus/chest infections. We've lived here a little over 2 months now, and have received no solution, or even attempt at a solution with Stanley Steemer. They're great if you shadow them, and when they set up your appointment for service. But once they're paid, they don't care about you. We've officially reached out to local news and social media to let everyone know about our experience, so nobody else has to go through this nightmare. read more

I did call customer service and yes, the managers reached out to say they took no responsibility for the fading and that I should have done yearly maintenance. I spoke to managers, Corporate and you Lindsay with no concern for my now faded carpet! read more

I live in Alexandria, Ky. Hired Stanley Steemer to clean carpets in three rooms. All seemed fine yesterday until after Brad left. I woke up in the middle of the night gagging on wet dog smell. Brad charged me for deodorizing all three rooms, he definitely did not do the master bedroom. Concerned, I went upstairs today to find stains that were left behind and hair not raked away from baseboards. I had to wait for them in their arrival window Wednesday and now I have to wait between 2-6 Friday for them to come back and do the job right. Situation was weird but the costumer services after the fact was incredibly poor. Went to Stanley steamer to get several rooms cleaned and a couch cleaned because we were moving out of the rental property. The couch was dirty due to our dogs but was coming with us to our new home in Cincinnati after it was cleaned at our old place. Everything went well and the technicians were great, and we tipped them nicely because it was crazy hot that day. After the couch had dried, when we were about to move it to our new home we realized it was not clean at all. I understand that when couches dry sometimes things can be missed but it was still crazy dirty. We had to move the couch but called Stanley Steemer to see if there was anything we could do. Well being that we moved to Cincinnati we were told there was literally nothing could do about this because they were a franchise and not apart the the actual Stanley Steemer umbrella. The only suggestion they had was for us to bring the couch back the NKY and they would reclean it. Not a discount, credit, or refund. So we basically paid money for a dirty couch. read more

Pretty disappointed overall. Just had Stanely Steamer out a few hours ago. My wife was home & I was at work. She said the guy was nice but didn't wear a mask or ask about it (whatever not big deal) Although when I got home I was kinda shocked at the result. It all looked like a rush job. He didn't bother moving the coffee table to clean underneath it. We have a small floor matt at our basement entry door and a small mat by the fireplace (so embers don't burn our carpet) and this steamer guy decided to just clean over top the two small floor mats rather than move them and clean the actual carpet underneath the mats. I don't usually do reviews but I work in the "service " industry and its the small things that customers pay attention to. Not to mention it was a ridiculous price, for a tiny basement & a small couch it was $400.00 & they both don't look like they were cleaned. Just sharing our experience.. not looking for a refund but I think paying full price for a half-ass job is frustrating. read more

They contacted me for an interview for an open position after company. The day of the interview they didn't call but sent a message through indeed canceling the interview. This was only two hours before the interview and they should have called at least. My wife missed half a days pay to takeoff and watch our kids so I could go to the interview. I needed a couple rooms cleaned because my dogs were both sick and had accidents. I tried cleaning the best I could and used my own rug cleaner but the stains wouldn't come out. I scheduled my appointment and requested to be notified by text when they were on their way. They arrived within 1 hour of the notification and were so NICE and POLITE. I say this because customer service hasn't been so great since moving here and they were wonderful. Shot out to Ian and Stefon for making my carpets look wonderful, having a smile at all times and being super nice. It's hard to come by but they were great. Thanks a bunch!! read more

I would DEFINITELY use their services again after this experience. Calling to schedule was very easy; Nick was very nice, answered all of my questions, and was able to set up an appointment within 24 hours of when I called. My boyfriend and I had two couches cleaned that we were giving away to family members. We have cats and they are allergic, so we decided to get them professionally steam cleaned. We were given a 4 hour window for the tech to show up, but Joe W. arrived very close to the earlier end, about 15 minutes into the 4 hour window. He got started right away, and even gave us a discount on deodorizer treatment. He informed us that the deodorizer has an enzyme to eat up any pet dander or residue from the cats, and that if we were giving them to a family that was allergic, it would be a good way to ensure no leftover allergens. He was very proficient and got the work done (couch, loveseat, all of the cushions and 4 pillows) in about an hour. When he was done, the couches looked brand spankin' new. We almost considered keeping them for ourselves! Thank you very much Joe W. I can't wait until our new couches are dirty enough to have you come visit again. read more
