Well had to let ya know it's a semi annual and annual thing we do is the carpets. And we depend on the folks at Stanley Steemer out of Fresno. These folks show up ready to take care of the task at hand. George and Ryan walked the job with the wife and began to get the job done. First off take precautions to protect door casings, laying a small rug down outside to wipe off their feet and such. Next preparing the carpet to be cleaned. Went quick but when you're prepared it goes quick. We have been using these folks for many years and tried others once or twice but always came back. The prices are reasonable compare to others in the area. They offer coupons and specials via online. We ordered the clean and protect the carpets. They came around 8am and was out by 10am with everything completed. They moved some of the light furniture which was very helpful to us. They had a text with the technician tracker on it. They didn't move any furniture, even the small stuff for carpet cleaning. They asked if I wanted the couches moved and I said yes. They didn't even move coffee table or end tables. The edges of every wall and stair were so dirty and still covered in hair. Baseboards were scuffed all along the staircase. When they did the tile/grout, walls were splattered and baseboards damaged. They did roll up a rug from under a dining table to do the tile, but left before putting it back. Grout was missing and cracked after "cleaning." When they left, they flooded my flowerbed with the soapy water they extracted. Flowers died and lawn turned brown. They spent 1 1/2 hours and charged me $680 . Complete waste. A 3'x3' entry and 2'x3' walkway to the dining area were billed as 2 rooms. Pricing is crazy for the amount of time and work. read more

*Review is based on false advertisement and then no resolution from the manager.* I'm very disappointed in this company. Look for a different company where the workers sent out know how to clean HVACs that are on roofs, being that that's very common in many households. I called to get the pricing for air duct cleaning after seeing on the Stanley Steemer website the before and after photos of inside the ducts that are cleaned through their services. The website also stated that all workers were "NADCA certified", meaning technician's are certified in expertise and skills relating to HVAC system inspections and hygiene. These things were confirmed by the phone representative, I then proceeded about a week after that initial phone call to book with Fresno Stanley Steemer. The workers sent out arrived at our home, I was not present but my husband was and they did NOT disclose to him that they did not have the capability to record with a camera the ducts and show us the before and after, it wasn't until I called him, my husband, around 30 minutes into them working on the cleaning that I asked him if they were showing him the camera images, to which he said no and he went to ask them and that's when they said they didn't have the capability to do that. They also DID NOT disclose that they were not going to clean the AC unit until the worker called his "boss" to ask him if he can clean it and the "boss" said no. They did offer to replace the AC unit cleaning with the dryer vent cleaning to which we said yes, but we still paid for that service. I called Stanley Steemer to complain about this false information I was given, to which my complaint was forwarded to the Fresno manager, I believe his name is David. David called me and basically just apologized and claimed that these men that were sent out had disclosed all of this with my husband, after the phone call with David I clarified with my husband again and he said they DID NOT disclose this information. I had David asked for some kind of remediation for this as I could've gone with a different company to which David said I had already gotten a $50 dollar coupon, and I informed him I already had that coupon applied prior to the men going to our home as it was given to me in the mail, it's not like he went and applied it after this whole discussion. *eye roll* I'm not upset with the workers that were sent out, they were just doing their job but I'm upset with the false advertisement and then the fact that the manager David didn't try to help me, the customer. read more

Yes...They arrived on time. The price increased by 30%! They stacked chairs on top of other furniture (on top of each other on the dining room table), didn't put furniture back and when I asked they didn't put plastic under most of the legs! I had to ask them to complete the work. We didn't ask them to move heavy items. Afterwards they walked all over the clean carpet with their dirty street shoes instead of moving out of each room to finish at the front door. Should have covered their street shoes with shoe covers. The carpet cleaning was for my elderly mother. I'm sick that I didn't hire our regular guy. He takes his time & gives a fair & accurate quote. Lesson learned! Expect that any quote will increase significantly. We called the office to give feedback but they just offered to come back...the damage was already done. I gave all our information over the telephone. They appeared to be very professional. We wanted our hardwood floors and bathroom grout cleaned. When they arrived nothing was what they said it would be. We moved all the furniture and had the dog at the groomers so our floors could be cleaned beautifully First thing is the price changed by about 30% more. They said they could not polish the floors only clean them. (Which means vacuum). We wanted our hardwood floors cleaned not vacuumed. We could do that. We decided to just have them do the grout in the bathrooms since they obviously couldn't do a good job on the wood floors. What a waste of money and time. Stanley Steemer came on Tuesday, July 12, to clean my tiles and grout. I used them six years ago, when I first moved in, and my grout came out like new. This time was another story. I paid $600 for nothing. because the grout looks exactly the same. Traffic areas, which I asked the technician to concentrate on, look as same as before? He was actually using a little kitchen brush to clean the tiles. When the job was finished, it was hard to tell if the tiles were clean, because they were still wet. I waited until Thursday, and I was so disappointed in the job. I called and was told to send pictures, and someone will call me back. Nothing! Called back Friday to the number I called ,and the number I sent the photos. Now THREE phone calls. They told me the photos are in for review??? Review?? There is nothing to review, some grout is dark, some are light. I feel I am being totally "ignored", I paid my $600, and they could care less. I was given a timeframe between 12pm & 2pm. They called to tell me they were on their way, showed up around 12:30 and were done by 1:00. The gentlemen (Zachary and Anthony I believe were their names) who did the cleaning were very courteous, efficient and professional. I contacted Stanley steemer to make an appointment to get my apartment shampooed. It's a small 1 bedroom apartment. I had saw a special for 99.00 and so when I asked the lady she said no we dont have that so I said ok what's an estimate for my apartment which I only wanted the living room and dining room done. She quoted me at $318.00. Ive never paid that much even when I owned a house. My uncle recommended Stanley steamer to me cause that's who he uses and he told me he gets his huge 2 story house for no more then 200.00 and hes been using them for years. After Stanley Steemer came and cleaned our whole house our carpets look vibrant, full and new! The workers did a great job, very thorough with their work and educated in what they were doing. We are very happy with our outcome. If you want them to look the best, you have to spend the best! We cleaned, protected and deodorized. I gave 1 star because this company is not being safe during this pandemic. No masks, no gloves, no shoe covers, and no social distancing. Two men showed up wearing masks around their necks, NEVER once did they pull the mask up to cover their mouth and nose, so it may as well have been in their shirt pocket. What's the point? My husband and I were both wearing our masks properly, so you'd think that would be a hint to them, but no.At this point the driver took the mask from around his neck and left it in the truck. Then the driver gave my husband the bill to sign and got super close to him. My husband had to tell him twice to back up! The clipboard was filthy, the pen was filthy, and the unmasked, ungloved worker kept getting in our personal space. They showed up on time and I had 1 room carpet cleaned and deodorized for 99.99. They did the job and I gave them a specific spot to clean cuz of cat urine. Seemed ok that day and a few days later but now the carpets dry it still smells like cat urine. I'd pass on using them again! Addendum: Stanley steamer came back out to help deodorize the cat urine smell and charged me 15.00 for the deodorizer. I get the smell might be in the pad under the carpet but make a customer happy and do it from free since I already paid. Service was so so take your chance. I've used this company for a few years now and they usually do a good job. However, I had them come a few days ago and they did a terrible job. They rushed through my home and forgot to spray the cleaner before they begin. They left bright and dingy patches all over my carpet. I had to ask the workers to rack after they were done. Instead of fixing the problem the manager called and begin to argue with me. Very unprofessional and rude. Really bad service... Think twice about using them. I thought this would be a reputable company but I was wrong! Cost me $550.00 for carpet and tile cleaning. Poorly done and unprofessional. I was told would take 2 hours, turned into 5 hr affair. Their truck "broke" and had to send out another crew. They used their tennis shoes instead of a brush to rub carpet cleaning into carpet!! What??? I don't call that professional service. They did not move all the furniture as they said they would. They poured "concentrated acid" on my tiles and unable to finish the job because their truck broke! They went through my garage door and the carbon monoxide alarm kept going off, so the stupid guy unplugged it!! I found it on the ground after they left with the battery missing! I thought this would be a reputable company, however the service is very poor. I used a promotion code to save money but the guys who cleaned my carpet were not informed. However rather than calling to verify they insisted my husband was wrong and requested the money. When they were advised to return the money my family was noticeably upset and the drivers continued to taunt them rather than taking the high road. The manager then called to scold me about my family's behavior. While I believe wrong is wrong I feel like the customer is always right. I think that it was in poor taste for the manager to argue with me about what had transpired when neither of us were present during the argument and the initial problem was due to a lack of communication between the company and its employees. Because of this I will never ever use this company again and I'm am also going to contact corporate because under no circumstances is it ok to insist that your customer is wrong.
