Plenty of seating inside. Various types of donuts including gluten free. Liked the Lemon Pistacio cake donut and Brown butter Glazed donut. Came here visiting out of town. Good, but didn't think it was spectacular enuff to make a trip out. Definitely make a visit if nearby.

Stan's Donuts & Coffee in Chicago is always a must-stop for me! I always grab the sprinkle donut whenever I'm in town--it's just that good. The donuts are fresh, tasty, and perfect with a cup of coffee. A classic spot for anyone with a sweet tooth!

I think this might be the first Stan's of the franchise that opened in Chicago. It's a pretty small space but workers are attentive and fast. I got the croissant donut and hot mocha and they were delicious. The croissant donut had a crème filling that I was not expecting but it was still good. It is not similar to the Cronut which I was expecting but that's fine. Hot mocha was good as well. Convenient if you're on the run to head to Damen station

    Not fresh even early am.

They are not the quality we use to get. It 9 am and not fresh. Local grosser store is fresher. Stan quality team need to improve. What is going on ?? Please bring back the basic quality. If I m going to eat something unhealthy @ least provide me a donuts that is fresh

Stan's Donuts always hit! Quick spot to stop right before getting on the Blue Line on Damen. We tried the birthday cake and carrot cake donuts and both were delicious. Location was also very clean.

Such a depressing breakfast $7ish not worth it. Stick to original breakfast sandwich for more quantity of food.

Stan's is always a chicago MUST!! From the coffee to the bakery, you can't go wrong! The matcha latte is the perfect afternoon pick me up!

The refresher: the prickly pear flavor was on point. However, i did not know/was not told the base of it was lemonade (Not a lemonade fan). The barista also filled the drink 2 inches from the rim and i just asked for him to add more ice. Customer service: not very interactive or anything special, sub par from my usual experiences.

I came in on a Monday morning after grabbing coffee elsewhere so I just wanted a donut. There was one or two people inside when I arrived and I ordered at the counter. I'm a huge Biscoff fan so when I saw that one in the display case I had to get it! It was good! Not the most amazing donut I've ever tasted but solid. The outside glaze was good and the inside had some Biscoff but not a ton of it. I had about one third of the donut when I arrived. I sat at one of a handful of inside tables and also used the restroom when I was there. The service was friendly and quick. I would visit again on another Chicago trip.

--Location/Parking-- The location I went to is near the Damien stop on the Blue Line. There is NO parking lot that I can see, but the location is convenient to the Blue Line. --Ambience-- The interior reminds me of a cross between a 50s bakery which the mixer adoring the walls and a big family style table space in the middle. You get the feeling in the back they make their own donuts. There are plenty of tables along the side to chill and relax and the napkin holders display the Wi-Fi instructions. There are two restrooms to choose from and two doors to enter and exit from so it does not feel very claustrophobic. The restroom was clean and had pink signage and the lighting was a nice pink ambience. Upbeat relaxing music can be heard playing throughout the bakery. --Service/Staff-- I came on a Sunday afternoon and there were two employees. One was taking the donut order and the other was taking the coffee/hot items. They were friendly, but it was confusing why they need two employees when I was the only person in line ordering. --Food/Products-- I ordered three items. One was the PB& J donut, which was a freshly baked heaven coated peanut butter on the outside and a jelly filling on the inside. The other item I order was a pretzel bun, egg, bacon, and cheese were a disappointment because the egg was bland, but fluffy and the pretzel bun which they reheated and slightly burned was hard. The last item I order was an espresso, nothing special, just a typical espresso. --Capacity-- There are plenty of tables, maybe 8 or 10 tables, a countertop. Plenty of space, when I came in, I saw at least three people lounging around surfing the internet, talking, and enjoying their food. --Overall-- I will be back to try their other donuts. The location makes it easy since it is right off Damien on the Blue Line. I would probably avoid their "hot" items, since I was disappointed with the pretzel bun, but it could be an old item.

I'm in Chicago and everywhere I go I make it a must to try local donuts. Well what better way. Its 32 degrees out and I'm craving some sweets after down shopping in the area. I decided to get the minis to try diff flavors. The Chocolate dipped The sugar cookie Birthday cake Vanilla cake Amazing. Perfectly glazed and baked. We went at 5pm and they tasted as if they were just made.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed. $42 for a dozen donuts that tasted like sugar coated day old bread. It was very dry and stale.

Both were delish! The glazed donut was fluffy, sweet and my fave. My husband loved his old fashioned donut! He said it was crunchy yet moist. Pulled up just before 6:30 AM on a weekday and there were just a few folks ahead of us in line, but service is quick. Cake donuts were actually pretty solid here; the Blueberry Cake Donut was the best item, super soft and moist with a good amount of berries throughout. The Pistachio Cake Donut for some reason was texturally firmer and drier than the other. Unfortunately, the fried donuts were all misses. The dough was just really dense and none of the toppings really hit. The Glazed Donut just made me sad that the dough was bad and the bacon on the Maple Bacon Donut wasn't crispy, so you got a cold, chewy, greasy bite that wasn't super pleasant. The chopped dough pieces in the Apple Fritter were also oddly firm instead of soft. For a place with rave reviews, I was pretty bummed by the donuts, but maybe the fried chicken sandwich is where it's at.

Recommended some items to us and after hearing we were on a donut tour, even threw in a freebie. Only outdoor seating available, but the weather was perfectly lovely. Everything led up to (finally) some lovely, super soft fluffy fried donuts. Glazed Donut and Strawberry Glazed Donut were exactly the pillowy, yeasted texture I was looking for and the latter even had a little extra tartness from the strawberries, which you could tell was made from real fruit! The Lemon Poppyseed Cake Donut ended up being a banger as well; great balance between sweet and sour, not dry at all, and cross between crumbly and a melt in your mouth texture. The Apple Fritter was the only miss. Had an odd aftertaste that almost reminded me of curry powder and was texturally super hard, like bits of cardboard.

However, it wasn't the cleanest but we were still willing to give it a try. When we arrived, the hostess/waitress asked if we had a reservation and I told her no but there were literally only 2 tables being occupied at the time, so she had us wait until she cleared another table. The menu gave a hibachi vibe, they had teriyaki bowls, unwich sushi rolls, soup, and specialty drinks but no fountain or canned drinks. I wanted the salmon and everyone else was getting chicken but that didn't happen because they were out of salmon. Really wasn't feeling the other options, so we canceled our order and left. I would definitely give the place another try but maybe earlier in the day and a different location.

Think Taiwanese fried chicken sandwiches, Japanese mochi donuts, ube, vietnamese coffee, etc. What I tried: - Mochi donuts (1 strawberry, 1 chocolate) ; so fresh! 10/10 - Strawberry/peach lemonade boba; Extremely sweet, but good! Staff was super kind from start to finish. The only downside (which is big) - it is pretty dirty around the restaurant. With all the white, you can unfortunately spot things quicker.
