We faced a problem that was not our fault, but Alicia refused to help us, referring to the fact that the period (60 days) when they could help us has expired, and now we either have to pay again, or they will not help us in any way. The General Manager Kristine Osterberg was amazing. I came with my father to repair his glasses frame which was damaged to an accident. Since it was not repairable Kristine helped with finding a new frame fitting the same lenses within minutes and adjusted it to my father's needs. they lure you in with specials but you really have to spend allot of money to get anything worth anything. the glasses for east too loose. they tried to adjust them and they weren't trying back to being too loose. staff was wonderful however. except I think the optometrist recommended too strong of a prescription because since I got my glasses a few months ago, my natural vision has declined Fernandez play today. Kristine was cute as ever very energetic and the best customer service I have ever received. We had one small hiccup but she more than made up for it. Sham, scam, confusing. I came here back in January 2018 and bought two pair of glasses. They have a good frame selection. the prices on the frames are great, but they will charge you insane amount for lenses and Coatings Etc. I returned in July because one of my glasses continuously gave me a headache. They wanted to charge me 20% for new lenses. I told them I shouldn't have to pay since the mistake is theirs in the carving process. The optician said she would speak to her manager and came back saying there is nothing they can do since there is a small scratch. They are in New condition, and I gave them 1 month to adjust and still get headaches and eye discomfort. The warranty process is confusing. Sales staff are friendly but optician and general manager Kim are combative. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. Note: parking lot is a piece of crap. Well.June 6 exam glasses orderd one pair (sunglasses)received on time then all down hill 6 return trips and the last time corporate assured me they were there but low and behold somebody stole a case of glasses with mine in it such b.s.now 60+ days later they are susposably being re maid now I can even get ahold of the store this joint is a crock of dog poo I've burned over 150$ in gas going back and forth on promises with no avail.very unhappy should have went to walmart read more

Called Stanton Optical in Elk Grove, CA to get an appointment for my 88 year old dad and they didn't have any appointments available for over a month. I did get an appointment in Fair Oaks for feb. 28th. My dad is getting his driver's license renewed in March. I got a call tonight, the day before the appointment and they said they had to reschedule because of my dad's age (which the knew well in advance) he needs a doctor to give the exam. I called they're headquarters to get the appointment so I did talk to someone over the phone. I made the appointment a couple of weeks in advance, but they didn't say anything about my dad's age at the time. Instead they waited until the night before the appointment to reschedule. I got him an appointment for the same day and the same time at Kaiser. I will never call these people again. read more

I was very discouraged when that when I bought my glasses it's supposed to be $79 a pair I got two for reading eyeglasses and the doctor's visit for the application was free that's fine by the time I left out of there it was $249 for the two pairs of glasses I don't understand that the lady said at the counter that my eyes or had stigmatism so they had to make a more special that's ridiculous and now that I ordered the glasses and paid the fees I've been waiting almost a week and a half and still nothing they said 14 days so maybe I'm being too anxious but I can't see without my glasses I replaced these ones because the other ones were just one were broken and I lost one a pair. Anyway I tried to call the store and I get my call transferred overseas to a call center somewhere probably the Philippines unbelievable I just wanted to call and check the status of my glasses that I bought overpriced and I kept getting overseas call centers I hate that the people I talk to can barely speak English other than that and no English slang so I was pretty upset bad move Stanton I pickle that's why I went with them LensCrafters it was the more a little more expensive but the the p&r with the customers is fantastic I miss you Bruce you're a good to me when you've adjusted my glasses at LensCrafters I'm only giving Stanton optical barely two stars bad bad service. read more

If you go to the Madison Ave location you will be bombarded with pot holes. One of the worst parking lots in the County. My mom and I went to Stanton Optical on Madison Avenue and the service was horrible. We made appointments online for 10am on Tuesday August 16 and when we went they were under staffed, rude, and slow. We thought we would be seeing an actual eye doctor but we say the doctor over zoom and we weren't able to get an actual eye check up with getting her eyes dilated and actually being able to get our eyes fully checked out because there was only two doctors and they were both on zoom and then when we went to go pick out our classes and check out one of the ladies was rude and saying that we couldn't get the right prescription and had to pay extra money for the glasses in the checkup what she was supposed to be $79 so they tried to make us pay more than what was actually advertised. If I were you I go to a regular eye doctor to get a check up because the Stanton Optical is not good they're rude they're slow they're overbooked they're not on time so if I were you I just go to a regular doctor. read more

When I arrived in the morning for my appointment, Kristine Osterberg was the only one working (she had some folks call in sick that morning). It got very busy while I was waiting and Kristine handled everything and everyone like a pro.....she was kind, welcoming and very calm making everyone feel comfortable. I'm giving two stars for just the girl in the front who directed me where to go, otherwise I would hesitate to even give one star. I needed an eye exam and was surprised and happy to see they were taking patients during the CoVid. Went online to make an appointment and saw plenty of time's available for the day I needed. Hmm..interesting, maybe they are slow. So I booked a time which was very easy to do and got a confirmation. I head to my appointment to find a line outside where there was a table and sign that says to wait here for pick up. Doesn't state what to do if you are there for an appointment. No one is at the table for at least 15 mins while a group gathered outside. Finally a very cheerful girl gets a bunch of glasses out of a box and mans that table to hand out people's orders. I asked what about appointments, she says to head on in. Others walked in with me. We all stand there for about ten minutes without being acknowledged, told where to go, how to check in etc. Finally someone comes over to ask us our names, only gives registration info to one patient while three of us are waiting. I hear another patient ask an associate how much longer it would take to get her prescription since she her appointment was for two hours ago! That patient was given the speech that contact lens fittings take much longer. But what was clear was that they were running very very behind. Which is understandable, however please let your patients know that when they come in. So I asked point blank, how far behind are you and was told it would be an hour and a half before I was seen. Ok, not much I could do about that, I had to leave. There were minimal places to sit, while maintaining social distancing, and again, no one let us know that we were facing such a huge wait. Has I not gone out of my way to ask someone I would have been waiting there wondering when I would get called to even begin registering. It's obvious they book too many patients in a particular time. This needs to be fixed. I won't be going back. read more

I could not believe the level of rudeness the employees have at this store! I was barely acknowledged at all and when I was it was a yes no situation. The eye doctor was amazing but the other employees not so much. When I came back to pick up my glasses the same rude employee hands me the boxes with no comment. I open the boxes to find my glasses needed repair. Thinking I was going to be fitted I waited until finally I had to speak to and ask was I going to be helped or not! So beware they never fit you for the glasses. There is no customer service and you will be waiting long past appointment time read more
