Stanton Optical provided an outstanding experience for my two children and I. My children and I were out doing last minute school errands when we decided to stop in to Stanton Optical. We wanted to see if all three of us could squeeze in an eye exam before they closed, so we could update both our contacts and glasses as well as see if my 7 year old actually needed glasses. From the moment we walked in the door everyone was very friendly and informative to the moment we walked out the door. I apologize I don't recall everyone's names but I do know Sara H. was the first to greet us as we came in, she over saw our entire experience and made sure we were a 100% satisfied before we left (double checking all the math and making sure we got the most for our money). (This took so much stress off my plate as a mother trying to get her kids eyes taken care of before school starts). The lady doing the pre-eye exam was wonderful as well. She had a sense of humor and made my 7 year old (that was nervous), feel very comfortable with the process. The optometrist was also great at caring on this type of service. As we were late picking out glasses, I had apologized for taking their time and Lily assured me that they were not in any rush as they were there to make sure the customers were taken care of. I was very pleased with ALL of the staff members. This type of customer service is why I and my family will be returning to Stanton Optical. I noticed coming home from a long trip that i was having increased blurryness in reading the signs. I got home safe only because i knew the way. I thought id better get my eyes checked before my next long trip, but was worried over the cost of new glasses. On a whim i stopped in to Stanton optical and was very happily surprised.I had an appoint. for the next day. Dr. Frakell was at the end of his long day and down one doctor for exams, but none the less, he was through pleasant and didn't make me feel rushed or uncared about. Sj and Christy were an absolute delight answering questions and helping me pick out glasses. I was so stressed out going in, but they made it a fun experience. Sj set me up way better than i could have ever imagined at an affordable price even for my budget.She was very knowledgeable and helpful to me expediting the whole process to have a pair of glasses ready by the next morning! I've used the Nampa, Stanton Optical office for my eyeglasses since they first opened and have never had problems with the eye exams, bad service or an issue with the progressive lenses they have provided me. The optometrist is very skilled, reassuring and personable. My prescriptive lenses have always been just right and of good quality. Though the appointment I scheduled online for today's visit did not register, optician, Jordan, worked me right in for an eye exam and optician Jolene was a great deal of help in setting me up with new pairs of stylish, affordable frames and lenses with all the extras I appreciate. Jordan and Jolene were both so very welcoming, efficient and highly professional. Their friendly service which now includes maintaining COVID-19 health and safety procedures and standards was well executed, reassuring and greatly appreciated in these difficult times. Just had a GREAT customer service experience I just NEED share. Had an appointment for an eye exam and glasses but 1 of the Dr.s was not here, we saw the line was long and were ready to leave. Instead of letting us walk out the door, they let us know how apologetic they were, offered upgraded lenses AND frames for the inconvience (and it really wasnt that big of a deal, we just had some shopping to get done) it made us feel as though we were really valued as a customer. It wasnt just the free upgrade it was how they handled the situation that made me feel HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY...I will be back! I originally went to Stanton Optical a year ago. I wasn't impressed. The girls on the optometrist side were loud and and had no professionalism. The optometrist was ok, not very friendly. This time was completely different. I was greeted immediately when I arrived. I checked in and went to look at frames where I found a pair I liked. The optometrist was friendly and personable. I worked with John who was really nice. My new glasses were ready in about 45 minutes. In all I received new glasses, a free pair of sunglasses and 2 years worth of contacts for about $200. My husband, sons and I came in yesterday. 03/16/2020. We picked up a few frames for a reasonable price. Unfortunately our appointment was double booked. But we were still seen in a timely manner. All of the staff was friendly and polite to us. They were very helpful. In the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak, I saw many of the staff sanitizing their stations and other areas of the building wherever there may have been human contact. I visited the Nampa, ID Stanton Optical store December 16th, 2020 to buy new glasses. My eyes were still fully dilated from my eye exam so my vision was fuzzy. I was promptly greeted by a smiling, friendly, laid-back Jacquelyn who helped me from start to finish in finding frames that would work for me, walking me through the available options, answering all of my questions and completing my purchase with no problems. Ok. I know this world is crazy, and can be a little intimidating, but the staff kinda makes you forget that. They are so sweet, very interested in the customer they are helping. I'm super stoked I got such great customer service, because nowadays its next to impossible to find. My son and I were pleased with the doctors bedside manner, and the staff who provided us with tips and tricks for our contacts. Providing extreme patience and walked my son through his experience. NEW MANAGEMENT! I gave Stanton Optical a second try because I didn't have the best experience a year ago. I tried other places in town for affordable glasses and was disappointed several times. I went to Stanton because I knew I wouldn't have to pay $300 for one pair of glasses like the other two places I had tried before. The new staff and management took EXCELLENT care of me! My salesperson, Jacquelyn, was simply amazing and very professional. I gave her a general idea of what I was looking for, and she immediately showed me a few that I might like. I am incredibly picky when it comes to glasses, so she let me look around without hovering over me, which I can appreciate. She checked on me several times to see if I needed any assistance and when I had a few I liked, she helped me decide which pair looked best on me. I am so impressed with the service I received!! I was very fortunate and the manager help me to get just the right glasses! She also helped me get a pair of sunglasses!! I got the coolest color blue for my lenses. I thought I was going to get shocked when I went to pay ( which is what has happened at OTHER places) but nope. The manager took great care of me!! Went in to pick up me and my husbands glasses. The service we received was pretty outstanding. We were assisted when we entered the store, Covid precautions were being taken for the comfort of all, there was a bit of trouble finding my glasses because of the spelling of my name but the entire time I waited the staff was continuously pleasant and apologetic.
