My husband needed new glasses. We had seen the ads for Stanton Optical on tv, so we decided to check them out. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and my husband was taken straight back to set up the eye exam. We were told there would be a short delay, so we decided to choose his frames. Shawna, the Sales Manager, came over to help. She listened carefully to what my husband wanted and started bringing him frames like he wanted. She did not try to pressure us into higher-priced frames, instead she started with good frames at lower prices and worked up. My husband ended up choosing a rather expensive titanium frame because it was so comfortable. My husband needs bifocals for his regular glasses and another prescription for reading, so I asked if his free pair could be the reading glasses, and Shawna said "Absolutely!" He chose a very inexpensive frame for his reading glasses, and we got our first bit of sales pressure; Shawna pointed out that this pair was free, so was he sure he didn't want the more expensive frame? About this time the General Manager, John, came over. My husband was wearing his Navy Veteran cap, and Shawna had already given him a military discount, but now John upgraded his lens to a better quality one, gave him his second pair (the free pair) as prescription sun glasses, and gave him the reading glasses- all for free! My husband's prescriptions are such that they couldn't be done that day, and we will have to go back to get them, but we got THREE pairs of glasses for over $125 less than we paid for his last glasses! Shawna also repaired his old glasses so they would be more comfortable while he waited. I will definitely be going to Stanton for my next pair of glasses! read more

My Husband has very poor vision and the last couple pairs of glasses I have purchased for him have cost me anywhere from 500-1000 with insurance. I was expecting to pay at least that as he doesn't have vision insurance right now. I was amazed that we were able to get the Vision exam, 2 pairs of bifocals with high index lenses and all the bells and whistles that are needed for him for less than 400 under their specials. Not only is it the best deal around but John the Manager, is amazing. He is friendly and helpful. They were short staffed but he made it a point to explain and check in with people to ensure they knew he had not forgotten about them. This is the best Customer Service I have received and we will definitely be back anytime we need new glasses, etc. read more

Great experience at Sherman, TX Stanton Optical. I booked my eye appointment online 2 days before going in. It was a very easy process. They left a voicemail reminder. Michelle & Dr. Nguyen were very nice on the eye exam side. I was going to just pay for the eye exam alone, but Breanna gave me a GREAT deal I couldn't refuse. She was nice and helped me pick out my frames. Not only was it great service, she said my glasses would be ready in 10 minutes (even though it took me a little longer to shop at Aldi). I have a high prescription and get the Anti-Reflective coating & the works. I have NEVER received my glasses this quickly. I HIGHLY recommend Stanton Optical. read more

I have been calling this store for months looking for the contact lenses that I purchased there for $230 in December 2019 that were supposed to be mailed to me. It is now August 5, 2020, and I'm on hold on the phone for the past 10 minutes supposedly waiting for the manager. This is my 4th time to call since I moved back to Texas in July, and every time before this, they have told me that the manager would call me. I will NEVER use these people again. I cannot imagine why they have treated a loyal customer this way. I will be filing a complaint against them with the BBB. read more

Had a great eye visit. Sales staff was fantastic. I had been going to Walmart to get my glasses, I have had nothing but terrible service from both the Sherman and the Anna Optic Shops. I decided to go to Stanton to test out their service. It was wonderful. They answered all my questions and helped me pick out frames. They even tried to help me find ones I liked that were in the cheaper range. Thankfully that wasn't a problem. They even assured me that it was not a issue that I have a dog that likes to unzip my purse and take out my glasses to use as a chew toy. read more
