Went in there without an appointment and had the best service ever. Wish I had the ladies name, but I don't. Anyways my fiancé needed our sunglasses frame curved more for ears. Let me not forget we didn't even buy them from this business. Without hesitation the lady helped us with the up most respect. Also, once done and we were ready to pay she said, " free of charge"! absolutely hands down the best service I've ever had. I ordered two pair of glasses & two packs of contacts and they were ready for pick up the very next day. My contacts came in the following day. I can't remember the lady's name who helped me but she was so helpful and sweet she double checked my insurance, that I had no card for and saved me over $400.00!!!! I highly recommend this place. I had my exam via an Optometrist on a TV screen. She was not interested in what I had to say about my current prescription. When my new glasses came (two weeks and $640 later) they were not my prescription...not even close. Stanton offered to get me a replacement pair if I got a new exam and waited another two weeks. I opted to get a refund. I had paid cash on the spot but the refund has to come from corporate. They are telling me it will be 30 - 45 days to get a refund!! How do these people stay in business? This place is a joke. First of all, there are no ophthalmologist or optometrist actually in the building. It's telemedicine. So if you're expecting a personal examination you won't get one. But, I went in for the eye exam just to get A new prescription for my contacts. Are use monovision so I told them what my prescription had been for the last year and told them it worked fine. Of course they gave me a different prescription and said they would order me a trial lenses. They called me and I picked up the lenses but it wasn't the prescription that they had given me. They were the wrong lenses so I took them back. Then they finally got me One pair of the lenses they prescribed and, guess what, they didn't work just like I told them. Then they suggested progressive lenses so I said I would try those. I told them I wanted them in daily lenses that extended wear. They called me to tell me they were in so I pick them up and, you guessed it, one pair of extended length it's not Daily's. So I told him I wanted a five day supply of Daily's because I didn't want to use extended lenses. They ordered those and I waited another week. (A total of four weeks so far). Then they delivered the progressive lenses but it was a different prescription then the extended wear progressive lenses they had given me. Before I called them back the coronavirus close the store. So at this point I'm six weeks after my examination date and I still don't have a correct prescription much less a correct trial pair of lenses. Don't get me wrong. The people that work there have tried to be nice but they're totally incompetent. Don't waste your time. Thanks read more

I was in desperate need of a new pair of glasses, and had already been turned down at another optical place because I hadn't called in advance and booked my appointment. Stanton was able to get me in with no hesitation at all. They were very thorough with my visit and helped me choose frames and the best lens options. Even after the sale was done, when I went to pick up my glasses, Stephanie helped me get my glasses fitted to my face. They were all very kind, but she just made my experience memorable! My husband and I won't be back. These people are just rude. No doctor on site. Finally get our glasses and still can't see. Called customer and was given the run around. Finally got my point across and was told they would send a refund request to upper management. Then I was only allowed to request a refund for my glasses. My poor husband had to call and fight with them again. We each spent 45 minutes on the phone with these people, AFTER spending 30 minutes on hold with the automated system. We have to wait for management to contact us to get this resolved, yet no one can tell us how long that will take, and in the mean time I have 2 pairs of glasses we cannot wear and are out $200. So far I have had the worst experience. I went in and ordered lenses for my glasses and contacts. It's been over two weeks and still no glasses or trail pair contacts. When I went in on June 5 to get my trail contacts Jenifer told me that my orders package was lost by UPS but it was found and should be here any day. I called the 1800# and they said the order won't be ready till June 15th...so where in the hell did the lost package story come from?? Biggest regret of 2020....trusting this company. I will be requesting a full refund and cancellation for being so blatantly lied to about my order being "lost". I called to speak to Jenifer to see what she meant by "UPS lost your package and found it". But never got a call back or any info...oh and still no trail pair of contact lenses....this place is a sham...no drs in building. Next time I will visit a mom and pop store. Had an eye exam and purchased glasses. No one available to make same day and was told it would be 2 weeks. Today made two weeks, called and was told it could be any day now. Could never get any specifics on when I could obtain them. I need my glasses for my job and now I can't see anything. Do not deal with this company I know I never will again!!! read more

Horrible customer service by one team member. The woman in the back, completing the eye exams was nice and personable and I wish I could remember her name because if we worked with her throughout the entire process, we probably would've had a better experience. But after the eye exam, we had to choose frames. The store was a bit busy so I waited for about an hour after the exam to actually get to see the next woman in the office to actually purchase contact lenses/glasses. I understand that with so few workers, things will take a while so I wasn't mad and I waited patiently for my turn. This is when my experience turned for the worse. The lady that was tallying up the total was completely unprofessional. She went back to the back to eat something and she came back to us, chewing on food. She then was getting noticeably upset and impatient with us when we asked her questions about the prices of different products. We ended up just paying for the eye exam because she was so rude. It honestly felt like racial discrimination because she didn't seem to treat the other customers horribly. She sighed with impatience and apologized to another customer like I wasn't waiting there about an hour and half too!! She threw her pen down...basically wanting us to know she was upset and wanted us out. After deciding to not get any glasses or contacts, she treated us like crap but she was already noticeably annoyed by me before that too. I've never felt so degraded in my life!! I've worked jobs that were centered around customer service/sales. Even if you used up some time helping a customer and they don't buy anything, you shouldn't treat a customer like that. That's like going to a shoe store and feeling pressured to buy shoes, just because a worker asked you if you needed any help. I should've called her out in front of everyone in that store but I decided to keep it classy and just write a review. In light of all the racial things that are going on in our society, if you want to work at a business, you should at least try to be better than what's going on. Stanton Optical is not somewhere I will ever go back to. read more
