First off, let me say that the pricing here is a little on the higher end even though it's not a household name vision center. Regardless of the price, I was somewhat satisfied with the glasses I initially received. I was assisted by Lisa who was very nice and courteous. I've had my glasses for 3 months now, and they've started getting loose. I had never heard of the Leo brand, then again, I always went with brand name glasses at other places. I went in for an adjustment today, October 22, and was assisted by a guy was friendly. Friendliness aside, my glasses got damaged during the adjustment. I handed him my glasses and he went to heat them up to make the adjustment. He returned with my glasses and they were a good fit once again. I asked about the significant smudges on my glasses and he said they just needed to get cleaned. He sprayed some cleaner on them and handed them off to me. I walked out and thought, "he did a poor job of cleaning my glasses." When I got into my vehicle, I pulled out my lens cleaner and cloth and noticed that the "smudges" weren't coming off. I took pictures of my glasses since I'm nearly blind without them. I tried my best to look out of the side of my glasses to view the images and to my surprise, my glasses are severely scratched. I walked back into the store and I asked him how they'd gotten scratched. The guy flat out told me "man those are bad, yeah, there's nothing we can do about those scratches." I felt he was implying that I scratched the glasses myself so I made it point to say that lenses were perfect condition when I brought them in, and all they needed were an adjustment. Since there were other customers in the store, he lowered his voice and said he'd "make it right." He says "I'll have you some new glasses before the end of the day, hopefully." 95% of the time I'm working, I'm on the road. I literally cannot see with these damaged glasses. I wish I could call them "scratched glasses" but they're not, they're "damaged glasses". I'm now losing an entire work day because I cannot drive in the condition my glasses are in. I am extremely disappointed in this place. I had recently recommended it to friends and family, and I now regret doing so. The place seemed so promising and I was hoping to buy a second pair of glasses there to have as a backup. Not anymore. I'm going to take my business elsewhere. I understand that accidents happen, but to imply that I brought them in scratched is absurd! This place is terrible. I tried to do a walkin 3 weeks in a row and each time turned away cause they were busy. Not sure why they advertise "walkins welcome". On my 4th visit there I was able to be seen. I went in seeking a prescription for contacts.There were several red flags I ignored along the way but I wanted to believe they were reputable and would come thru. The young girls who helped me, had no clue what they were doing. They were all giggly and kept checking in with each other to figure things out. I kept wondering where the doctor was since it did not look like there was one on sight. Well...that's because there is no doctor there. They put you in a room with a TV screen and you consult via monitor. The doctor was young and very disconnected. After the "exam", they told me to sit and wait for results. After making me wait 30mins while they helped other customers, they finally asked me if I wanted to pick out glasses. UMMM..NO...I came in for contacts. They then tell me they only got a glass prescription and they would email the doctor. After another 15-20mins, I was informed they did not have contact trials on site and I would be called in 3-4 days to come in and try them on. Fast forward 8 days...after not hearing from them, I called to see the status of my contact trials. I was informed that there was no order and no contact prescription for me. Apparently the doctor needed more images??? Basically, I went in and accomplished nothing. The guy on the phone kept saying "I was not here last week, I don't know what the girls did." I asked for a manager and he proceeded to tell me he was the manager. I told him he should be responsible for his staff & he said he was new and had just started. Total waste of time, no accountability, very unprofessional- avoid at all costs. read more

Totally dissapointed.I went to this location in Stafford because it was the closest to my area, to get a new prescription, initially for me and also for my son. Since the beginning it was a bad experience, the appointment time was passing and I was still waiting that I had to ask if I would have the appointment or not ... all the associates with the exception of one that I think the name is Stephanie are rude and incompetent. When I came back to claim my eyeglasses frame which was a new one it was all crooked and the strength of the glasses were totally wrong. This associate Katya said to me that if I could read a line they were fine, of course I would not take a crooked frame with a wrong prescription...I was afraid that my son glasses would have the same problem and yes they were again the wrong strength, this virtual Dr that they have, provided us with inaccurate prescriptions twice.(Prescription number two at this point and all this has caused me so many inconveniences, coming to this store again and again and still with no glasses working for me or my son ) I complained with customer service and demanded to escalate the situation they told me they would provide me an answer in 48 hours. In the store the associate Katya stated she wont refund me the money from my sons eye exam (which does not work because my son who has myopia and he can't see with those glasses which are way off) all this situation only caused me a waste of my working time having to deal with them and the customer service because they dont have a dr on site only once a month then I am supposed to wait more time since December when I ordered my glasses. read more

Eye lab sucks. Worst customer service in the world. I went to 1st location to do my eye exam for several times. They let me wait and wait due to internet connection problems. Finally, I did my eye check. But the contacts doesn't work out. They assign me to another location where is far from home. They sent me appointments reminder so I drove there, the store closed. But they didn't tell me and sent me appointment cancellation. So I called customer service, they said they are sorry but nothing they can do. Ok. I told customer service everything and I need in-house doctor to do recheck. They rescheduled for me. Again, I received appointments reminder in the morning. I drove that location again, they told me the in house doctor is not available. I complained, I said I want to return everything and they said sorry and it's not returnable, they can't do anything. Because of this, I need to change me other schedules. Eye lab stood me up. Such a BS read more

My mom and I needed new glasses and are amazed at how much we saved at My Eyelab. Their package cost me only $183 for exam, a (free) frame valued at $99, and hi-index lenses with UV, anti-glare and hard coating options with 2-year warranty. This was without insurance. Other places we visited would've charged us an additional $100-$150 for a similar package. As for my mom, she already had her exam done elsewhere. Here she paid $146 for premium progressive lenses, the same options I got, and a frame valued at $139, which her insurance completely covered. My Eyelab does offer Buy 1 Get 1 Free plus free exam, but one pair of glasses is enough for each of us. Their customer service was superb. David, a manager-in-training, helped us during our entire visit. He patiently answered our questions, explained the different lenses, recommended what frames to get, and gave us a breakdown on how much our packages would cost. He even offered to call some friends he knew in the Lasik business when my mom asked him to suggest eye surgery centers. When I got to my eye exam, I admit I was a little anxious. But the lady who did the preliminary exam, Marie, put me at ease with her friendly manner. In the mean time, the store manager Edgar offered water to my mom as she waited. The second part of the exam consisted of the usual reading off a chart to test the eye vision. Someone from Refractive Services conducted the exam - via video chat. The doctor was not on site at the time and only comes once a week. So if I want to check my eye health, I'd have to return another time. My Eyelab had a decent selection of frames, ranging from old-fashioned to stylish, priced at $29 to $249-ish. I took a long while finding one that suited me. I preferred plastic arms rather than metal, which, when corroded, irritates my skin. My strong prescription further limited my options to full rims. Most of the frames I liked were half rims, but David advised me not to get one - hi-index lenses don't work well with them. I finally settled on a frame, as did my mom. The total time spent here amounted to about 2 hours, mostly due to browsing the frames, asking questions, and waiting for payment from the insurance company. I as a walk-in did not have to wait at all for an eye exam on a Saturday afternoon, I guess because this store just recently opened. The exam proved quick and efficient. That and waiting for the prescription took 20 minutes. The store also opens on Sunday afternoons, perfect for those who have little or no time on other days of the week. read more

I've always been self conscious about wearing glasses but Lisa made me feel super comfortable and helped me find a snazzy new pair of glasses. They came in so fast and look AMAZING!! We had an unexpected need for a repair as well as a new pair of glasses and our regular place was closed indefinitely due to covid-19. We went here instead and, thankfully, they were not only open and had appointment times available, but they were also taking necessary safety precautions for social distancing to ensure customer safety. Josh handled part of my daughter's exam as well as Ashley if I'm not mistaken, and both were very friendly and made her feel comfortable. During the checkout process, it was made known to me that my insurance was out of network and they could only offer a partial discount. (This was miscommunication on the 1-800 number's staff's part, NOT actual store employees. I'd called to ask TWICE if they took our insurance and was misled to think they did.) Anyway, after finding out the total (which wasn't too too expensive) I was really upset because I wasn't expecting to pay that price out of pocket at that moment. With the nation on a stay-at-home order, money has been a little tight. Well, Christa saw that I was upset and started asking questions about what was wrong. She listened and asked me directly how she could fix it. She didn't beat around the bush or direct me to talk to someone else. SHE fixed it within minutes to make it affordable for me to pay. I cried. Lol It was such a small thing that took literally only a couple of minutes but just the fact that she even bothered to ask what was wrong and how she could help us and went out of her way to do so really touched my heart. We were able to get what we needed and left feeling helped and happy instead of taken advantage of. Little things like that make a huge difference when doing business. This has to be the worst customer service experience I have ever received. I had an appointment for 9:45am and was not physically seen by the doctor until 10:30. She looked at my eyes for all of 10 minutes to tell me at first I didn't need contacts though that is what I made my appointment for in the first place. After discussing with her that I have literally worn contacts since I was at minimum 5th grade she then decided to then write me a prescription for trials. I was then told that my trials would not be in for 3 to 5 business days or more for speciality contacts. In all my years of wearing contacts, I have never not walked out with trial pairs mind you my prescription has been worse in prior years. I was also told that UPS does not deliver to them the weekends I called UPS and provided the zip code in which they stated that was false and they do deliver on Saturdays. I would not recommend this place at all. This was a last resort place and one of the worst decisions I ever made. read more
