I was in the neighborhood. I thought I look for my eco food trays at this Staples since I saw them at another Staples that ran out of them. This Staples is smaller than the ones I've visited in the past. Anyway, I perused the inside perimeter before going to the aisle that had food trays. I didn't see anything that was desirable to my eyes. Hence, I said enough is enough lets get to the purpose of my visit. I walked to the aisle that had the food trays. Unfortunately, they did not have the ones I was looking for. They had the Rubbermaid brand though... these were almost double the price of the eco brand. No cigar and that's okay. I left without buying anything. This is the last time I would look for the eco brand. They just don't sell them anymore. Thank you anyway! Since I didn't buy anything, I didn't cross path with any staff, hence, I don't have any comments on them. The printing section was absolutely bonkers when I walked in. Only two women working and helping at least 10 people all at the same time. These two ladies absolutely crushed it!! Social distancing is strictly enforced, allowing only 51 humans in the store. Grace was very helpful in assisting me with my fax needs. The only downside was, sending a fax was quite expensive. I was charged $7.40 to send a fax, to a number which was considered long distance, because it wasn't an 800 number nor a local number. read more

Wanted to give a shout out to Alex and Vanessa from this location of Staples. On Saturday evening we went to pick up the funeral programs we had printed at Staples for my mom's services.  The website said they were open until 8 p.m. We were at the front door at 6:01 p.m. and they were closed. Alex explained to us the recently changed their hours and they now closed at 6 p.m. He asked what we needed, and we told him we were picking up a print order and he let us in and helped us. It turned out to be a blessing because on Sunday morning we noticed we had made an error on the programs, so we went back down to Staples right away and Vanessa in the print area helped us. Let me just say, she needs to be employee of the year. It was so busy, people at the Amazon return counter which she was also responsible for helping, people in line to be helped and people who were doing the self-printing who needed help. Vanessa was so nice and helpful to everyone; she was quick and efficient and made sure everyone got helped and had what they needed. She never lost her cool or acted like she was stressed out. I was feeling overwhelmed for her, but she held it together and handled it like a pro. She was able to do our print job for us and it was ready in 30 minutes which we appreciated since the funeral was on Monday morning. I hope someone at the store reads this and gives Alex and Vanessa kudos for helping us with what we needed so we were not stressed out in a stressful time. Both Alex and Vanessa are an asset to Staples. I feel they both went above and beyond to help us. read more

I've never printed at staples but was pretty good at figuring it out, it is definitely self serve. I had 1 document that would not up load or print. I asked for help got a half hearted frustrated really quick explanation then she walked away, turned out the printer needed service and that was part of the problem. They were closing by now and the frustrated lady left for the night. we were told we could come back in the mornin. with just a little help it could have been done. if you can do it your self your good if you need help go to your next choice. I had to get a paper faxed for a rebate and I was right by staples so I figured why not just run over there and do it really fast...wrong! The self serve fax machine requires you to put in a credit card to prepay because obviously so many people stealing faxes. I didn't have my atm card so I went to the counter where only one girl was working. She was super nice and it was lunch time. I had a completely confused look on my face and I asked her to fax my paper. She informed me that they now charge for the cover sheet that they used to provide free. Whatever it was only $1.79 and I was getting a $70 rebate from Home Depot with that fax. The stupid people are the ones who kill the environment for me. It is a nice office supply store, located in Jess Ranch Market Place of Apple Valley. I have frequented this establishment many times. I would visit this place to look at the prices of laptops, desks, and other office supplies. The prices, usually, were fair. Furthermore, there were days, when items were on clearance sale. So, I would purchase those items for cheap prices. Usually, my purchases would include storage bins, to store papers and other documents. Definitely, if anyone needs to purchase office supplies, I would recommend to visit any Staples store. This one is conveniently located in Apple Valley! read more

Buyer BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Been coming here for years. They had one of the best ink cartridge recycling deals around. I brought in ten cartridges last year. I asked the employee Corke if they still had that program. (Recycle one cartridge for two dollar reward. Limit ten per month) "was told they did. It would be a lil over a month before I received coupon in mail." Today I Asked about my Reward coupon Now they say they do not honor that program. Bait and switch. This has happened two or three times in the past so it is clearly company strategy. I went in to but a laptop. Decided on a particular model that was on a great sale price (discounted $170) but the salesperson said that they were out of that model. I asked if I could order it from the warehouse or online and she checked stock and said there were none in the warehouse. But she was glad to suggest a different BUT MORE EXPENSIVE model. I asked why they didn't take the label advertising the great sale price off of the shelf and she said that she wasn't allowed to. I asked why, because it was very deceptive to advertise it if in fact it was impossible to buy or order. She gave the ridiculous answer about how long it will take to put up a new label when (and if) another one ever arrives. That is a real insult to the customers intelligence. They add and change labels all the time. But they want to keep the deceptive add,with an amazing markdown, on the shelf so that they can get you to engage in conversation and then talk you into a more expensive model that they just do happen to have in stock. Classic bait and switch. I even predicted to my girlfriend exactly what was going to happen as we were driving to the store, as this exact thing happened several times before to me. We left and got a much better deal and had many more models to choose from at Best Buy. Staples runs scams on their laptops and computers like this all the time. read more

I bought a printer for my wife in November 2018 as a Christmas gift and she had only just recently set it up. Unfortunately it was a defective printer right out of the box. I hadn't purchased a protection plan, I lost the receipt and it was well past the return date. I talked to Vanessa over the phone who told me she had found a couple different reciepts and to come talk to the manager, Corky, who would take care of it. I got into the store and corky basically told me there was nothing they can do without a protection plan and left me with another employee by the name of Steven. Steven really came through! I was ready to get ahold of corporate but he provided excellent customer service to go above and beyond to keep a happy customer! I really appreciate the help and next time will definitely be buying the protection plan. read more

I have been going here since they opened. I absolutely will not go any where else. Office Max is terrible! Even the other Staples in town are horrible. I love Mary in the copy center she is wonderful and deserves a raise. Hardest worker ever. Always friendly and goes above and beyond all expectations! This Staples is not your average Staples because Corke works there. She is enthusiastic, positive and loves her job. We came five minutes before closing and she assured us we could keep shopping. I only shop here if it's my last resort. Everytime I'm in this location the customer service is just horrible. I was in today and I waited in line for 30mins. The cashier was have register problems and no would help. The line just kept building.
