The 3 stars I am giving to an employee, Camille, who works in the Printing and Services Dept. I would give this Staples a 2.5star review overall though. This morning I came in, just to retrieve a printout of a UPS label, so that I could send off/return my package. I got to the counter and stood there, there was two ppl actively working, a Hispanic woman with glasses and a tall guy. The woman did not seen to be doing much, while the guy was busy with an order/preparing something. Both their heads were down and not even attuned to the fact sometime had come in and was standing there, waiting for service. (Maybe I had been too quiet? Lol). The woman even crossed the room to talk to the guy, who was busy formatting an order, but never once looked UP. I was going to call out for attention, but I didn't think I needed to...since it was **so** quiet and really nothing going on. I was LITERALLY standing right by the laptop at the counter. Maybe about 10 minutes go by, and I said "Wow someone is standing here, and no acknowledgement." Then the Hispanic woman with glasses *finally* looks up and is like, "You need to send something out?" I told her I need to retrieve a printout that I sent via email. "Oh, use the self service kiosk," she says, still not coming to the counter, and went back to working. Um, OKAY. I did not *know* where the kiosk was. Maybe customer service doesn't exist before 9am... Fortunately Camille (who had JUST come in) came out from the work area, and showed me where the kiosk was, and also helped me to send out the package. So 3 stars to you. I'm a nurse by profession, and any time ANYONE stops by our nursing station, we STOP and ask if we can help them. Tsk tsk Staples. read more

Worst printing ever!!! i 'm forced to order from them becuse they're hands down the cheapest way to print in bulk but they never get it right. it doesent matter if you order online or in store they never do it. expect them to lose your order and only complete it when you go in and tell them this is your second time placing the order. read more

I rarely leave bad reviews but I have never in my life had such a horrible experience at a staples. The workers have absolutely no idea what they are doing and the manager is beyond rude. Not accommodating. Ruined my copies and my laminations. Something that should have taken ten minutes turned into a two hour ordeal. If you want to keep your sanity do not go to this staples. read more

Worse customer service ever. Today I went to buy five Amazon for stick and they refuse to help me and lied and said they sold out. Then I checked online and u saw they had six in stock. I do not know why there are several negative reviews for this Staples store in Bayside. On Friday I needed to make 6 copies of over 120 pages of documents. It was ready by the very next day at 1:00 PM as promised. The copies were neatly separated by colored paper, organized and placed in specially marked Staples boxes. Worst print and copy department ever. First online it says if order is placed after 2pm it will be ready the next day but no it took them 2 days to email me that it is ready for pick up. I have to go out of my way to pick up my online orders which i dont mind if its just one time. I ordered 500 of business cards got 260 initially called to notify them. They told me to come back in 40 mins, i went back 5 hours later and they didnt even start onthe printing. And asked them to just mail it over to my house but thry do not offer such service. The manager looking lady was not helpful at all. I will not be going back to this location. read more

I don't know why they closed 20th Ave Store, they were nice and helpful. This store is the complete opposite. Store Manager is nasty and unhelpful, the tech support is awful (will barely even answer a question). If they had a book on customer service the staff here threw it away. Just awful. read more

Unfortunately the staples store on 20th Ave. closed (they were helpful) and this is now the only staples that is near my house. They are the worst store I have ever dealt with from the store manager who is usually nasty to the tech support who doesn't help at all. I went there with my daughters 1 year old computer. I bought a 2 year extended warrenty and wanted to ask what we do because there was a problem charging the computer. I have never had anyone be nastier. The tech hit the counter and said "don't bother us, you bought a warrentee. Call them" If you ever bought a product at Staples they push those warrantees like crazy. I couldn't believe how impolite and nasty he was after making us wait for him 10 minutes just to ask the question. Terrible store. read more

Horrible customer service. Three Salesmen and a Suit (probably the manager) stood around talking to each other. They were ignoring the shoppers and seemed annoyed when I finally asked for help. The salesman who helped me had no personality, a bad attitude and showed no interest in helping me. He seemed annoyed when I asked to compare products. What should have been a 15 minute purchase was 45 minutes because No one came over to see if I needed help, the cases were locked so I needed a salesman. I had to go find one. It seemed as if no one was actually working. It was a horrible experience and I won't be spending my money with this company again. read more

This store has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. After waiting for the next customer to finish, the clerk did not acknowledge me and went inside. I sew them talking to each other and after about 10 min other people start filing the waiting line. I was first and the guy there started calling a girl behind me and forget about me. I will never come back to this store again. Very poor customer service!!! read more

Worst customer service at the copy center!!! The women there are nasty and miserable. They make up their own rules when it comes to pick up times for documents and when a rush fee needs to be charged. This has been my experience 3 times already! I've had it! Never going there again thanks to the rude woman named SHERIN!!! She needs training in customer service and in English! Don't waste your time going there. I am writing this review as I sit on hold on the phone, how busy can the store be .. schools began earlier this week, its 10:31am on a Wednesday morning, I am sure it can not be so busy as to where an employee can not answer the phone. It has been 11 minutes now and still waiting .. OH WAIT - someone answered and put me back on hold IMMEDIATELY ... Awesome customer service ... it is now 10:50am .. still on hold, 20 minutes now .. The copy center workers in this store are liars. At 3:30pm, I needed a job right away. I was told I could get it first thing in the morning by around 8:00am. Then when I double checked the time as to when job would be available as I was about to leave the store, I was told not until 3:40 the next day. I was told if wanted it as promised at 8:00am, there would be a 30% additional charge, and that in fact, the job had never been promised for 8:00am. The two people who had promised me the job said it was never promised to me at that time. In another words, they were lying for what amounts to about $3.00. After arguing with the head liar, I was told I wouldn't have to pay the additional charge and it would be ready at 8:00am. I really hope it's ready. Already I've wasted 15 minutes arguing with the workers who can't even stick to the truth, and another hour back to the store to pick up an eight-page job the next that takes three minutes to run. Second similar experience I've had with this staples, where "expedited charges" magically appear and I have to fight to get the right price charged. The copy center at this store ought to spend more time printing and less time on devising ways to cheat the customers. read more

Their copy/print service has been good to me thusfar. I get color flyers same day from them ready to go no problem. The only drawback is it's a little pricey, but if you need something done right and done fast, that's the place to go! read more

The past year this store has undergone a transformation! The employees are so pleasant and helpful. The copy center has been updated and the staff there are complete professionals. I would drive to this location over another Staples any day! read more
