I do a lot of paperwork at this staples:printing faxing and copying. Julia is so helpful and always resolves my issues with copies faxing or printing. She is always so pleasant. The manager Anthony is terrific as well -he's always willing to help me with whatever I need. He's is knowledgeable too. I prefer this Staples to others I've used-I won't go anywhere else. OK, HOW IS THIS PLACE EVEN STILL OPEN ? WHY WOULD ANYONE COME HERE ? Walked in looking for a digital camera. An associate pointed me to the section for digital cameras. The rack was empty ! It had ONE camera. It was a camera that you place on the top of a child's bicycle safety helmet ! LOL . I left this horrible and dying store and went to BEST BUY where they had at least 3 or 4 choices for me , name brands , in my price range. To the people that WORK HERE: Go and find a new job. I got notice of $20 off if I spend $50 so I went in with my Staples App and spent $85 on double pack of black & color HP ink. The Associate scanned the $20 off coupon. Did the $20 come off the $85 price??? Of course not!! The Associate told me " You'll get it next month!" So next month I'll have to go back in and spend another $50 or more to get the original $20 off !!!! REALLy!!! I don't think I'll believe these Staples Coupons anymore!!! I needed to recycle a trunkful of obsolete computer electronics. They were the only place on the Island that would take them. Routers, printer supplies, poster printing. - all things they do well. It's one of the various times Staples had a convenient service that solved a problem. read more

Prices are a bit on high side, the lady at the printing area is an absolutely delight, she knows the meaning of customer service which nowadays is one of the rarest things in the CUSTOMER care industry. It's a good location, needs a little more variety but overall good. read more

I go out of my way NOT to go here. It is the closest Staples to me. The older, white-haired, heavy-set man at the copy center is beyond rude: he actually scoffs at customers if they don't do what he wants them to do. The first time I came in to get a blown-up, 11x17 copy of digital photos for watercolor transfer, he brusquely told me to come back with photo on my phone (I had it on a USB drive and he was NOT about to help me figure it out. I am QUITE sure there is a way to transfer a photo from a USB to a printer. I have actually done it. s/) So, after that, I went to the Staples in Commack near HD on Jericho, and the young man there accepted my photo, told me it would be a bit blurry at the size I specified, I said it was ok, and five minutes later, I walked out of the store with the copy I wanted. The second time was on 3/29/19 (and when I saw him, I nearly walked out but then I did have the photo on my phone so I thought maybe there wouldn't be a problem). First, he pointed me to the machines, but I asked him if he could help me. Next he told me my photo was cropped, would come out on an 11x17 sheet about the size of a half of a postcard, and tried to talk me into photoshopping it even though I explained to him that I was ok with a blurry copy for a project I was working on. He kept on insisting on photoshopping it and then telling me that if I wanted the 11x17 copy --ONE copy -- I would have to come back for it even though there was ONE person waiting after me. So, today, 3/31/19, at the Commack location, a young woman with glasses, dark hair and fabulous nails told me that she could do it but would have to resize my photo and I told her to charge me whatever she needed to to do it. She printed out my copy, showed it to me (blurry as I expected and okayed) and charged me 36¢. Here's why the other guy at the HS location wouldn't do it: 36¢ is beneath his dignity. It's not like he works for a graphic artist company or The Met. He's a copy man and he hates his job. He is SO bad for business! I have no idea if the copy center is under Staples' jurisdiction or what, but this guy needs to have an employee evaluation stat. read more

Always dead as a doorknob here - Overpriced for mailers - overpriced for pens and refills - wow refills Out of refills indefinitely.... LOL - they never seem to have any of the pen refills in any of the right sizes and colors and point broadness. Employees have a "I just work here" attitude - EXCEPT EXCEPT for one cashier that is a young fellow. Really motivated outgoing personality and engaging. Nice guy - younger guy maybe 17-20 caucasian. It was my first time in this store but I must say it is my last. Went there to make a double sided copy of legal size document. No one at the counter, noticed there were couple people waiting, after few 1-2 min wait the other customers left. I approached a clerk at check out , he stated he will call for someone. returned to Copy center, there was a youg lady helping undecided customer. After few min wait, I asked if anybody else is available to help with copies. She stated she closed production at 4:00 PM. I asked if anybody else is available. Manager came stating he is busy with cashier drawer. I asked for refund of bad copies. it was stated it is not a normal practice He but will make exceptionat check-out. Thanking himand thinking I made a mistake following instructions, I returned to copy machine to try again. the same problem. Being frustrated and dirty looks from the staff I left the store. Stating I will never return to the store. My point is; On the internet, store hours are posted but nowhere are there closing times of individual sections. If copy center closes at certain time, please state so.. Perhaps I was negligent in operating the machine or perhaps the machine was not set up properly or malfunctioning. Someone should be there to offer a hand to a customer. Perhaps there should be another staff member available for help. Lousy customer service. Keep my few dollars for bad copies, perhaps you can hire additional staff or send your staff to human behavior classes. read more

NO STARS WATCH OUT ALL STAPLE SHOPPERS THEY ARE OUT TO CHEAT YOU. I needed ink for my HP Printer and went on line to find who had the best price.Staples had the best price for the HP 61. $ 32 dollars but when we went to but it in the store it was& 36 . When I asked the cashier why the difference he said that it happens and gave it to us for the lower price. That's not the point, its that all the people including myself who didn't check on line first I would have paid the higher price. WATCH YOIR BACK WHEN BUYING AT ANYY. I don't know about the rest of the store but I came here to print a couple of copies of my resume and the older man at the printing station was so nice! He double checked with me asking if I needed my copies in color and complimented me on the unique layout of my resume! He wished me luck on the interview that I was headed to and it was just an overall nice transaction. read more

Usually a dirty, filthy store, cluttered with boxes, a mass on shelves and very dirty restroom. The personnel is incompetent they do NOT know what they sell, can't advise about products, and don't know where it might be. Just awful. And that for a "business" supply store?! read more
