This will probably be my last trip to this Staples. The service was terrible, unfriendly, unhelpful mumbling workers that can't count change. The store was dirty and cluttered, I don't think the bathroom had been cleaned in months. This is not the employees fault, this blame management if no one is holding these people accountable to provide good service. In the past I could always depend on this store to provide that and helpful tips as well, with a smile. I used the copy center and shopped for a couple of items for the office, got the copies not my supplies. read more

Lady at the register/answering phone with an accent is extremely unprofessional. Felt unwelcomed, unwanted, and uncared for. I was truly baffled as I've never been treated as poorly as she treated me over the phone. She constantly said she will not help me unless I do the work for her by finding the item number, she got aggravated when I asked her to repeat herself because I didn't hear her, and said she didn't want to help me right before she hung up on me. I had an experience today that reaffirmed my love of this location! First of all I was looking for pocket folders and knowing it is school supply season I knew there would be every color available. I am currently looking for a job and so was looking for a black file folder for my rejected applications - and a sweet associate let me to the *only* black 2 pocket folder in the entire store which was just 15 cents! Score for me needed have a catharsis with my rejections! As I was checking out there was a sweet mom and child in front of me he was very busy and mom was using a coupon on her phone. I was distracted by all the impulse buys on the way out the door! Love them! But when I was checking out I realized the mom in front of me left her cell phone on by the stand by the key pad. I pointed the phone out to the cashier who picked up the phone and dashed out the door to catch the customer who left the phone behind and he caught her! Kudos Staples and these great employees! I placed an online order for our "Change the Dates." With Covid-19, this wasn't something I planned on, but we needed these FAST in order to update our family and friends ASAP. I placed an order online before 2 pm EST and was assured by the website confirmation the prints would be ready the same day at 5:30 pm EST. Welllllll, that wasn't the case. I was nearly ok waiting until the next day since a 5-hour turn around time did seem a little fast; except no one called me to let me know. That would have made this a 5-star experience. In a time when service matters, let me emphasize - service matters. My prints were ready before noon the next day, and for the quick turn around and inexpensive cost, were great. The store manager, NATALIA, displayed extremely poor, dissatisfying, and untrustworthy customer service during my visit to the Hamburg store. I went into the store to find a particular item and she legitimately refused to help me locate it. She first told me the item was on a truck somewhere, before even looking the item up. Using the Staples website, I proceeded to show her that the item was available for in-store pickup, thus the item was in stock. When I asked for help to locate the item in store, she pointed to the back of the store and told me to go look for it myself. She even suggested I should look through the crates of unshelved products scattered throughout the store, as if I was an employee. To this, I offered her a look of astonishment and bewilderment. I've never experienced such blatant rudeness and unwillingness from a manager. Even the cashier looked very uncomfortable and in dismay towards Natalia's comments and behavior. read more

Went in to buy a m.2 ssd. Product box was placed on the shelf but sign stated to ask an associate to find the actual item. Nobody to be found. So we went to the register and the cashier paged the stockperson. Waited a good 10 minutes as the cashier paged for help 3 times and was finally told that they actually no longer carry that particular ssd. He offered another option that was very overpriced. Gave up and left. Annoying and a waste of a good 30 minutes. read more

It's not as easy as one may think. So the customer service here is always great; however, the checkout thing is confusing. I went today because my got dang printer refuses to print out a birthday coupon! So I floored it to Staples and I bought a black ink cartridge. The thing with ink cartridges, though, seems to be a HUGE production. Every time you recycle one, it seems that it goes onto some stupid rewards thing, in your email, and then you are suppose to show that for redemption. Why not just take out the stupid thing and give people a discount right then and there, if they are buying an ink cartridge? Well, one theory is the whole "oh...if we put it on rewards and most customers forget about it in their email, we can make even more profits off it!" If they would just give the discount, when you buy another, ba da bing, you would not have to wait for a rewards thing and you get a discount! Some ghetto azz thing. I have been recycling these things and god knows how many pelicans, fish, etc. could have their beaks, fins, etc caught in a cartridge or intoxicated by the ink. I have not received a got dang discount! Yes, they probably made TONS off me. Also, just recently, I found that when you use a card at staples, the two options are Visa Debit and U.S. Debit. The top one runs as credit. WTF?! Put credit and debit so people are not CONFUSED! read more

I had several color copies that I needed to have printed. I have been here a few times when I'm in town traveling. Very personable staff working in the print department. Steve has been very helpful the last two times I have been in. They always do a great job and get my projects completed very quickly. Staples has a ton of stuff. They have so much stuff that I get overwhelmed when I go into places like this. Anything you can think of buying for an office, they have. From the big heavy furniture to the supplies you hoard...They got it. There is always someone here to help you or ask if you need assistance. The layout is open and uncluttered which helps. I just grabbed a box of my favorite pilot pens and ran the hell out. No lie. It even took a while to find them. read more
