I just want to say that Kaylee who works in the copy and print department ROCKS! She made my son's 21st Birthday banner and it turned out so incredible. Then a half year later I had her make my daughter's 15th Birthday invitations with the Great Gatsby style and she impressed me yet once again!!! I don't think customers understand what a big work load these employees have with internet, call in and walk in orders that they already have going on so please have patience when you can't get your order done right then and there because they have other orders in front of yours. Visited this location in January while traveling. Was in need of copies and shipping materials. I was blown away by the customer service by Courtney and Kelsey. Both were friendly, helpful, and professional. They were this way with me and my husband as well as with all the customers I saw them take care of while there. I also loved the new copy machines. They were easy to use, modern, and very inexpensive. Both my husband and I left very impressed with this location and all we encountered there. I highly recommend trying them first for supplies, service, and copy needs if you are in the area. read more

The line employees are helpful and courteous, but the store manager at the Lodi Staples turned me off for good. I took an advertized coupon to the store on a Saturday, but he said the sale did not start until Sunday, the next day. I then informed him that the ad was published in the Lodi Sentinel today, but he still maintained that "it's the way we have always done it." Since I frequently travel to Stockton on business, I will just begin using one of their office supply houses. I spend around $500.00 or more each year on office supplies, so that manager can kiss my dollars good-bye... read more

I love my local Staples because I receive the best customer service. Caroline, in the print center has helped me numerous times with such patience and Always with a great attitude and a smile. Don't use their print service. Bush League. Always a line, never get your prints right and it takes 30 freaking minutes for 3 black and white prints. Honestly. They used to have better workers but the folks they have now pretty much suck. read more

I have been trying to get posters printed for three weeks. The copy either turns out too dark someone else takes over they lost all the copies had to start over then the third week the manager quit and I had to start over again with the new person. So pretty the posters is still in progress, I try to buy something every time I come into check on the posters weather it's ink for the printer or some kind of supplies and there's always a line and you're always waiting after this is finished I will never come here again read more

This review is for the copy/print area. I have been there a few times and each time the staff is rude, not helpful at all, and acts as if a customer asking for help is bothersome. I personally prefer FedEx Office and each time I've use the printing at Staples I've regretted it and wished I would have made the trek to Stockton or Elk Grove! This last time an older Gentleman was needing help with the copier. And he apoligized he was use to the older ones not these digital ones. The girl at the register was so rude and dismissed him because she was busy. I got out of line and offered to help, it took 2 minutes but instead of helping him or telling him she'd be right over she was incredibly bad mannered. From now on I will go elsewhere. read more

Manager Brandon called me & when I went in to speak with him, he helped me to feel heard, corrected the disputed price on the item I had purchased, and gave me a $10 store credit for my inconvenience! Don't expect too much from their Staples Reward program. They seem to change it constantly and I have never been able to use the "reward" for anything. I dropped it and when I buy stuff I am always asked, "Are you a rewards member?" I answer NO, by choice. read more

Terrible service. Was reminded why i had not been in this store in more regularly. Found the neat receipt that i couldn't find anywhere else. They had 4 "display boxes" on the shelf on sale at that, seemed like a good deal until i waited in line for the one cashier to help everyone. Called for the manager to bring it out. When he brought out the real one he told the cashier it was the last one and it was different than the one on the shelf. This one was a "bundle" which was not even displayed!! This was regular price, $60 more!!! I call bull. I bet he just kept it so that he could buy it or sell it to someone else because it was such a good deal!! Never coming here again!! read more

I don't buy a lot at the store but have shopped over the years. Today at 10:30 I went in to the Lodi store & bought a printer & ink cartridges for my old one, taking a empty for recycle. Somehow or other I returned with nothing but the printer, not even my receipt.I called & was told some one found a bag with the items in it. At 2 0'clock I went out & nothing could be found. I am a white haired 90 year old woman but the young man who had waited on me didn't remember ever seeing me before. He looked at me so funny, I expected him to say " no English" I was given replacement cartridges but no receipt & doubt that I will ever go back, unless my new printer doesn't work. I only go to this store because 1) it's a Staples and 2) next to Target.. Don't even bring a competitor's coupon to this store or ask for a price match. They will treat you like you're stealing from them. Some staff are nice and helpful though. I spend about $1,000 at Staples every year - just not at this particular store. Staples phone, online and online chat is the way to go. If I need something fast, the Office Depot at 8-mile road gets my business. That's not too bad considering I live within a mile of the Office Max (worse than Staples) on Hammer Lane. read more

Horrible staff and management. They prefer not to sell printers if you decide on one that's $200 or less. They're up-sell strategy includes trashing HP printers and ink and making ridiculous claims. All this while management loudly complains near customers that they need to make more sales and meet sales goals. I've known this place since it was built. Horrendous customer service. Went in there to print out a 202 page document and was told the thumbdrive my files were on needed a password...i had literally just got the thing at walmart...and had made sure the files could be easily opened before I came in. I was then told the drive couldnt be opened on Staples computers because the computers wouldnt allow some brands of thumdrives to be opened. I was fed a couple more excuses by this girl, who had absolutly no personality....cold would be accurate. Of course it all made sense a few minutes later when she almost beat me out the door, guess I was gettin in the way of her time off. Went to UPS right accross the way and needless to say, I had no issues opening up and printing my files. I will never go back to this Staples....if I would have read thee reviews on here first I would known better. read more
