My overall experience is a 0/5 stars because of the poor quality customer service, display of the store and lack of items for sale. I went in this store on a Sunday after looking at the new weekly offers hoping they'd be stocked up with what they advertised. When I arrived right when they opened, I asked the guy with dyed hair in the front and a mask on where I can find a specific item (post it dispenser) and he told me to go to aisle 2 where post its were. I would have appreciated if he actually took me to the item as he was not doing anything but standing there in the first place. I went to look for the post it dispenser only to be greeted with low stocked shelves and not the item I was looking for. I perused around the store and enjoyed adding items to my cart and then took a dispenser to the front cashier (2018359) he tried his best to help me get the post it dispenser I was looking for by looking at the SKU, showing they had it in stock and directed me to the person I already interacted with when I arrived. He walked me to the post its and I asked if he can look in the back. It took about 2-3 minutes and this employee walked right by me to the cashier 2018359 and delivered the post it dispenser. As a customer I would have appreciated if this employee connected with me more by bringing what I asked directly to me instead of acting like I was a bother or nonexistent. I also would have appreciated if this employee actually brought more than just my item out to add more to the shelves in case other customers like me wanted to buy it. This makes the customer experience AND the employee experience more enjoyable because it is efficient to make sure stock is out for customers to get. I surely hope this Staples is receptive to feedback and makes some positive improvements to make customers feel welcome with good interactions so customers want to come back to shop here. read more

The lady that helped was not friendly (that's fine, maybe she was having a bad day), but I told her I didn't need the small bag back and she could throw it away, she acted like it was a huge imposition when there was a trash can right underneath her. I went to Staples a couple times and I've always had a really good experience with this specific worker. Leesha is absolutely amazing. Every time I come in she is the only person upfront working as a cashier and an Amazon return returns. Today I witnessed her ask for help multiple times and no one came to help her. She was still quick and asked me about my day and my plans for the weekend. amazing customer service regardless of her being visibly stressed. there were at least 15 people in line for both. I go to Staples in Medford often. On this day they were short staffed and I could tell the manager was mad and stressed out. I needed some business cards made and he expressed to me how short staffed they were and he couldn't help me. I'm sorry but you are the manager you need to know how to do these things. They weren't that busy. If he treats his employees the way he treats customers I can see why they don't want to be at work. Very disappointing. read more

More staff! Bought a Brother printer there and have printed only 5 pictures. Keeps disconecting from WiFi. And I have to start over from the beginning every time. Waited over 30 minutes for assistance. There were only 2 people working, print shop & cashier.I'd be happy to buy a cable to connect my laptop. I couldn't find the correct cable. Maybe I should just bring my laptop and my phone and let the print shop print my pictures. This has been very frustrating. When you go online it gives you all these instructions that somehow don't work. So I'm stuck with a dead printer. read more

I've been shopping with Staples for 40 years ever since I realized they were the most consistently reliable office products store I found. I needed dependability because I was a busy Organizational Development consultant specializing in psychological assessments used in hiring and leadership coaching and development, classroom training, and facilitation. All of that required a LOT of technology supplies including toner, paper, binders, tabs, etc. i tried to keep an inventory on hand but sometimes I needed really fast service to my door or at the store. Staples ALWAYS delivered. Staples employees are typically knowledgeable, warm, and helpful. Sometimes it's hard to find one but that has been getting better, I have noticed. I love that they recycle toner and I get rewards. All of this adds up to one very happy long-term customer. read more

I went in to print a label for UPS. The clerk at the copy center said I could print it on one of the copiers myself. I told her the last time I came in they printed it for me because it did not work on the copier. I just emailed it to them from my phone. When I said that she said I could email it to the store and she could send it to the copier for me. So I emailed it and waited... What she did was to print a barcode on a sheet of paper and sit it on top of my package....WOULDN'T BE JUST AS EASY TO PRINT THE UPS LABEL FOR ME!!! I took the barcode over to the copier and tried to print it and it would not read the barcode. The clerk did not come over and try to help me, or call someone else to help me. I just picked up my package and left. I have been coming there for a long time and never treated that bad before. read more

Staples has FAILED to refund an order that was canceled within an hour of its placement, on 9/28/17. The original Staples employee said our $$ would be refunded to the card immediately. It is now 10/30/17 and after more than an hour on the phone, they have acknowledged they owe us the refund, but refuse to return the $$ to the card it was purchased on. We now must wait 7-10 days for a CHECK to be issued. What? Who has time for this? A check??? We are NO LONGER CUSTOMERS of Staples and encourage everyone to shop for their office supplies else where. EDIT: 10/31/17 NO- WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CHECK OR ANY OTHER REFUND FOR THIS PURCHASE. Staples customer support saying I already received a refund. WE HAVE NOT. I've had some pretty poor experiences at Staples locations over the years in NYC, Chicago, and Orlando. But this Staples location was an AWESOME experience. It was like the Staples you see in the commercials! I wish I remembered the names of the women who helped me so I could call them out for their great service. I went to Staples to check out office chairs. I'd been searching on Amazon but thought maybe it would be easier to go and check them out in person. This was a very good decision! The selection at this location was very impressive. I was asked if I needed assistance when I first got to the chair section and then wasn't bothered for the next 20 minutes while I literally played Goldilocks and sat in all 50 chairs. Once I'd decided on my purchase, I easily found the same employee who was happy to help me carry the box to the front of the store! No searching around the entire store for someone to help. Extremely easy checkout process. I was very happy that she offered me the $10 warranty... chairs break! And then three different employees were ready to help me carry the chair to the car. Older building, which gives off a rather stale feeling. Was a bit disappointed in the selection of notebooks that were not marketed to middle school students. Decent display of electronics that I noted browsing. Cashier was friendly and quick to open up when I stood in line.
