I have been here a few times. It is a very convenient location and the store layout is typical which makes it easy to find things. My biggest gripe is the printing area. The printers are almost always out of service and the staff there is useless, rude, and lacks accountability. I had a printing job submitted and I received a call which required me to come in to help explain to them what I wanted/what their website was telling them to do. The staff recommended i do it another way so I came back the next day and things were missing, tabs weren't labeled, and my double sided document became single sided making it 3-4in thick! The staff blamed me for not correcting them even though they recommended me to XYZ to remedy the issues, then the manager blamed the website saying they weren't even supposed to put tabs in it, and then they went back to blaming me for all the issues. I ended up walking out and told them i'm not paying $100+ for something that is messed up. The manager was upset that I didn't want to pay but I would highly recommend never pay upfront at this location until you see the product. If i paid beforehand i am almost certain they would have told me to deal with ut. read more

My experience with Staples was absolutely terrible. I ordered a banner, and it was done. I asked if they could make some certain holes in it, and the guy said he could do it in an hour. came back in an hour and told me that his manager said it wasn't (a priority) because I was a buying customer, which I don't understand how that works. I came back to the store before it closed to check if it was done, but it wasn't. Someone else told me that it would be ready tomorrow, but there was nothing they could do about it. They were sorry for my experience with the manager saying that I wasn't a priority. When I came back four holes on top, five holes on the bottom, and not even at all, not centered at all. It seemed like they did a terrible job and just put it together and told me to take it and leave. I waited two days and came four times before it should have been ready, besides the banner being ready already. I just asked for some holes around the banner. It was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. They should have accommodated me and said, "Hey, sir, I'm sorry to hear that. We'll be done in an hour for literally just making holes on the banner. Let me know that there are 50 people in the line, and he can't assist me when there are five people on the floor. read more

I came here at the beginning of September on a whim looking for a dayplanner, but it's early in the "season" for them. I ended up finding a plastic sleeved folder for my bestie and felt ridiculous going up to the cash register with a $0.55 item. Figured l could look at the printer section since ours is such a problem child. And has been for too many years. I ran into Delmer and asked him for some help. He was SUPER informative and walked me through all the brands and told me all the functions of them. I told him what I needed and we found out why I was having so many issues with our printer (some because of a lack of printing...we don't print often but found when we would try to we would always be out of ink, how could that be when we never printed?!). Delmer explained that due to us not printing often we would have our cartridges dry up prematurely. Who knew? So we ended up buying a printer that uses some powder like stuff to combat that since l don't need to print often but need the ink to work when we do. I appreciated his vast amount of knowledge, patience, and him getting that behemoth of a 4 in 1 to my car. read more

I hate giving bad reviews but this has to improve. Reported this location to Amazon. Amazon drop off in this Staples location is unreliable in this site. There have been 3 different times now that this service is not available during their normal office hours. Staples don't take into consideration the drive and time the customers of Amazon just to be told it's not available. If they need to train more people to make sure there is coverage, then get it done. Lately, I've been needing professional printing services. I placed 2 orders online, and the turnaround time is excellent. If you only need one or two prints, they can have them ready the same day or the next day. I also like the quality of their color printing for documents. I'm impressed with the service here as well. They are friendly and efficient. You will receive an email letting you know your order is ready for pick up. Prices are really competitive. Ample parking in the huge lot outside. Needed to print a label to return an item back to internet provider . The girl was polite and helpful at the desk. I really dislike how companies are having the consumer start doing everything ourselves. If I wanted to do it myself I would have gottena printer and done it at home. Anyway, I went through the process after I told the young lady everything I had she directed me to do it. The label ended up coming out on two pages because it was in the wrong format, . I went to the desk and showed it to the young lady, she knew right away what was wrong. I gave her the two pages the original label printed on and then did what she told me again. This time it printed correctly. I'm most upset having to pay $1.35 for the 2 pages that came out wrong. I asked for help so I wouldn't do anything wrong?? The page I ended up using was only.35 . I told the manager/cashier and he just shrugged his shoulders:( Why should I have to pay for the wrong label print, I didn't use it, I asked for help and it doesn't cost them much to keep a customer, just kindness. Associate Scott was very rude. I was making copies when my original document was jammed in the printer. I did not want to ruin the original document so I went looking for assistance. Scott was the closest associate to me that was not busy helping another customer. I asked for his assistance and he said "I don't do that ask *****" without telling me who or where she was. The only other associate was very busy so I let her know when she was done to please help me. Her line got longer and I took matters into my own hands, thankfully not ruining my document. This store has been advertising Party City supplies for a while now. I went to check it out and got a few party decor items last minute. They had a helium balloon station so I purchased a few balloons to do a helium balloon bouquet. The staff clearly had not been trained for this as no one knew pricing and told me it would take multiple days to pick up my order of 7 small balloons despite an empty store. After talking to the manager, she told me they could do it immediately but upon blowing up my balloons, the staff working on my order had no idea how to blow up balloons or tie them to string. The manager used this situation to have a training session and had the audacity to have me stand there and wait for almost and HOUR as the multiple employees struggled to blow up 7 small balloons. The manager would walk by and see the employees struggling and never once jumped in to help other than occasional verbal instructions. The manager was a shorter brunette woman. Extremely unprofessional and rude to have a customer wait for 50 minutes for a small balloon bouquet as you use my order for training. Your employees should HAVE BEEN trained as party city has been advertised for a month or two now. Waiting that long was ridiculous and the manager should be fired. read more

I hate going to Staples for anything, But even worse would be a return for Amazon. I walked by in after dropping my kid off at school at 8am. It was definitely not busy. There was an older lady at the register minding her business. Seemed like a nice lady. I walked around the corner to ask the nice lady where the Amazon returns was located. I was met by a rude sarcastic younger lady barreling out of a side door (overhearing my question to the older lady) saying their returns was shut down and if I noticed a small sign in the corner of the window on the left hand side of the store window. I entered from the right side and didn't pause to read every window advertisement sign they had in their window before entering the store in a hurry. Obviously, the sign was put in place long before that morning and the short tempered manager was tired of answering the question about returns. (Staples had no problem taking your money but takes their time fixing the service of returning it. Specifically from Amazon) I'm sure I'm not the first or the last to comment on the shred middle aged female manager that has no business in a leadership role from Staples.) Maybe Staples should reconsider having this woman in any role that involves her interacting with other human beings. Maybe their rating would improve. I live in Menifee, and there's a Staples near my home. It's about a1.2 miles away, very convenient. However they're under staffed and it takes me a while to get a service representative to help me. They don't have some supplies I need because I was shopping for a business car, and their chairs were uncomfortable and cheap quality. Every chair I sat in was uncomfortable and finally made my back hurt. Value for my money was just ok. I will still go to Staples for basic supplies I need. read more

I've had some printing done a few times and had great experiences. This last time I had some issues with some of my pictures. They were saved as a lower quality image and they pixelated a bit. Finn was amazing. He was able to fix the issue with eh same file and provided awesome customer service. He called me to keep me updated. Go somewhere else!! Customer Service is not the focus at this store. Visited the Menifee location on 9/6 @ 825pm in need of printing an individual item. I typically go to a competitor but this location was convenient at the moment. Upon inquiring with the gentlemen in the self serve print area, I was rudely told that printing is self serve and to follow the directions on the screen. I then asked what paper options they offered as I wanted to print on card stock and was told that was not an option at this time. I then proceeded to ask if I should come back tomorrow to get what I need and then he decided to get the details of what I was looking for. As we interacted he was extremely unprofessional carrying an annoyed tone as though I was interrupting him. Mind you there was one person in the store and he was standing at the counter. He proceeded to tell me that they did not have what I was looking for because I said "speckled" paper in reference to texture. He grew more impatient in our 2-3min dialogue and stated "those are your wants vs your needs and we don't have what your looking for" Personally I would fire someone who treated any customer this way. I run 3 business and print over $500 worth of collateral monthly but it's safe to say that I will never step foot in a staples again! Business have to do better in the economic environment that we are in as there are too many competitive options to lose business. read more

Meh prices are high. The only way you're going to get customer service is If you're there to buy a cell phone plan or high priced computer. Otherwise you're on your own. The copy center is about the same. If you have a big order you'll get help. If you're there for a few copies you'll probably be ignored. They have a decent selection of random office supplies but there isn't anything here you can't get for less online or better value at Frys. I've had some good service in the copy department hence the 3 stars and I have to admit it's nice to have a store that carries this stuff in town. Sometimes you don't have time to order online. I would recommend for small last minute supplies or items. Quick copy service. Otherwise you'll get a better value and service online. read more

Staples saved the day! We needed to print a 3,400 page document ASAP and originally went to the 24 hour - FED EX Office on Winchester in Temecula. FEDEX needed 20 hours to do this job....and would have charged me $0.10 per page. I called Staples and asked if they would be able to do this job in 4 hours (BTW it was Friday eve. at 5:30pm). They said, YES! I brought it by, saved a lot of money because they only charged me $0.05 per page and STAPLES GOT IT DONE without any issues or problems! Debbie and the General Manager focused on getting the job done and we were EXTREMELY GRATEFUL! It's a lovely store, well staffed and they understood our urgency! read more
