Short and sweet review to shout out the print team at this Staples location! I called them in a pinch .... after my go-to print shop wasn't able to get something complete in time for a big event. In the future, I will plan to check with this store first! The team member I spoke with on the phone was great - they could tell that I was in a bit of a rush and shared an easy, step-by-step guide to sending over the files. Our custom-sized print order was done in around 2 hours - and it was perfect! Just what we needed. On a different note, I think Staples should look into a digital payment link for print orders (especially when they're placed through email). I had someone else pick up the order, and had to coordinate a bit more than anticipated when we realized they had to pay in-person with a physical card. This doesn't detract from the awesome service I received - but it would definitely add to customers' convenience if they could pay in advance! read more

I waited almost 2 hours to print two documents on card stock. The service here is absolutely and I mean truly terrible. If this was the last Staples open available for printing and shipping I would rather walk to deliver my items. Everybody here moves slow and has no sense of urgency. I was continuously skipped over and the employees helped other customers before me. Not sure if this is in regard to race or what but I have never received such horrible customer service. read more

I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of customer service and zero accountability I experienced at the Staples store located at 100 Powell Place. A few weeks ago, I purchased a charging cord for my phone from this store. Initially, the cord worked properly, but after several weeks, it began to malfunction. It no longer charged my phone consistently, and I often had to plug it in multiple times before it would connect. Eventually, it reached the point where I had to plug it in 15 to 20 times before it would begin charging, and even then, the connection would frequently cut off. Because I work full-time and have additional responsibilities, I had limited opportunities to visit the store to return defective merchandise. When I finally returned to Staples to exchange or return the charging cord, the clerk informed me that the item could not be returned because it was beyond the store's 14-day return period. I explained that the product was defective, but he refused to assist me. I then asked to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, the manager repeated the same response and offered no alternative solution. I was disappointed that neither employee was willing to take responsibility for a defective product sold by the store or provide any form of customer accommodation. I was told that I had no recourse through Staples despite having purchased a product that failed after only a short period of use. What was most troubling was the dismissive attitude I encountered. When I stated that I would no longer shop at Staples because of this experience, the employees laughed. Customers deserve better treatment, particularly when they are attempting to resolve a legitimate issue with a defective product. I hope Staples will review this matter and consider ways to improve both its customer service and its handling of defective merchandise. read more

The black young girl that works the return section for Amazon wouldn't know what good customer service is, if it smacked her in the face. No "hello", no smile, using her phone... and as the only time in the last 5 years, every single item that I retuned is now claimed to be "lost" by Amazon and I have to deal with not getting charged for them again as they never received it. This was literally my very first time returning anything at Staples and will absolutely be my last! Should have gone to UPS as I usually do. Staples came through in a pinch! I needed to print some very colorful signage that would have drained my home printer. I walked up with a thumb drive ready to pay a toner-load in printing cost. The girl behind counter saw I only needed four copies of the same item and suggested the DIY printing area. Her words, " If I do it, it will cost about $20. If you do it yourself, maybe $5?" Sweet! This review is for the Print center and specifically Joshua. I ordered business cards last minute for an event and the website said they wouldn't be ready until the next day, but I needed them the same day. I called Staples and Joshua, aka The Man, said he would try his best and that if I called back at 5 he would tell me an update. I called at 5:15 and he already had my cards finished and ready to go. Staples - Shipping Centers Near Me - Nashville, Tennessee

I arrived for my TSA Pre-Check scheduled appointment today and was notified that there is a system-wide outage for all airports and TSA Pre-Check centers nationwide. I was provided a $10 coupon and instructed to come back and see if their team could "squeeze me in" tomorrow, as the employee was 100% certain the system would be up and running again. There was no notice of cancellation. - I contacted the TSA Pre-Check call center and they have heard of no such thing. They have not been notified of any outages and all appointments are available as early as tomorrow at 8am. If I had been notified of this appointment prior to leaving my house, I could have had a walk-in appointment at the airport before they closed. Will not return. read more

If you're looking for mailbox services please stray away from this location. I am often willing to give businesses the benefit of the doubt given I know how customer service can be and things are sometimes out of your control; however, the consistent issues I have experienced the few months I've had an iPostal box at this location have far outweighed the good. Most of the time I have had a negative experience despite attempts at being patient, calling ahead, being sure to schedule pickups, etc. From lost packages to giving me AND charging me for other people's package despite me rejecting them I have experienced a complete nightmare at this location. I tried canceling but I have to wait until my final packages come through then I am out of there. The icing on the cake was a visit last week. As I am a content creator, a mailbox provides convenience and security for me though it can be pricey. Last week I went to pick up a mail item that showed delivered but they did not scan in (which happens often here) . I was told that FedEx in fact did not run that day. Because I had the proof of delivery I mentioned the time it was delivered and who signed for it. They then told me that person is on vacation and had been for some time so that was impossible + FedEx didn't run today. At this point I am frustrated because how would FedEx know to sign this person's name and why would they show as delivered if they don't run that day (a Monday btw) .. eventually I ask about the manager and a woman tells me she is the supervisor and is also very rude and adamant that this mail did not come and that the store manager is on vacation but they can take down my info (also has been done before) . I don't live in the area and explained that I would rather them double check because I drive out once a week to pick up a group of items. They again told me FedEx did not run and the item was not there despite it showing delivered. Because this was sensitive mail I was extremely upset at this point and just left and I make it to my car and someone is running out with the mail. While I understand oversights happen, the customer service and lack of professionalism is horrid. FedEx did in fact run and someone absolutely signed for the package. There is also no reason to schedule pickups because regardless you will be waiting for them to search for packages/items always. I only have a few items left in transit and I will be moving to a new location but definitely think others should beware as this has been a constant negative experience at least in that specific department. read more

This is my second recent attempt to get something printed at this location. A month ago I was told I couldn't get the printshops email to send a print job cause I had specifics. (I do it all the time at the other locations) This time I sent an email and got a response that I have to use the app or site. It's very specific and it doesn't have the size paper I need. Then I'm told to pick a size and write it in the notes. But then I have to prepay for an item and the size and could be possibly different in price. Very rude staff. I was looking for ink for a security stamp. The staff I approached gave me a very long vague response to a question and in the end he said, in short, "I'm not sure". When I asked if someone else could help me, he sarcastically and rudely said "Do you want me to call everyone? If I don't know it everyone would give you the same answer." I told him to call everyone until he finds someone who can help me. GM Johan came over, he also didn't know the answer to my question, at least he was very polite and kind enough to help go through the product details to figure out what product I needed. GM Johan saved the day, but I'm still giving this store one star because of that rude staff. There may not be a GM at any given time there so you're left at the mercy of rude staff. read more

Went in for an interview and the hiring manager told me to wait 5 minutes because he was on the phone which is understandable, but then he proceeded to talk to a coworker and I walked by and overheard that they were gossiping for 30 minutes as I stood and waited for an interview that was scheduled 30 mins prior. Ordered some documents online and had a TSA Precheck Appointment in the afternoon. I was greeted by a representative right away who directed me to the right spot. I asked that my documents be ready in the time it would take for me to have my appointment done and they completed them for me! I was responsible for purchasing some school supplies and printing some literature for an organization where I volunteer. Instead of going to two different stores for this, I was told by someone to try Staples, as they had a center for making copies and for printing, in addition to decent prices on everything else I needed. Turns out, they were correct. The young lady working in the area with the copiers assisted with my literature. She was extremely nice and helpful. I only needed color on the cover sheet, so I used the color copier for that and then the less expensive black and white for most of my sheets. From there, it was only a short walk over to the shelves with pencils, school glue, tape, notebook paper, etc. Their prices are a bit higher than at the store where Paris Hilton thought they sold walls, but it just makes me tired to think about going there. The checkout guy was also nice and got my large amount of small items scanned and bagged in quick order. I also joine their Rewards program, which didn't cost anything and should help our organization save on future buying outings. All in all, I was really pleased with this store. read more

I've had to deal with this store multiple times for multiples different jobs and projects. As a freelancer, it is easy and convient to most places that i am working, so the store is great for quick grabs and supplies. YET, the problem I have is always in the employees there. They are often hard to find, so when I can't find a product, I have just as much a time trying to find an employee to find the product. Part of my job also involved purchasing a order cut to a specific size where the employees in the print department did not assist me much. I asked for them to cut them, instead they took forever to acknowledge me presence, then I ended up having to cut the materials myself because they basically refused to. The store in general is okay, the employees need a fire lit under them sometimes though. read more

Avast! Where does an office pirate go for plunderin' supplies? Ay, staples! And what Staples be the pride of the Office Seas? Yarp! This one. Problems you may encounter in the store are if you need to push a cart through you will realize everything aisle on the middle and on the left of the store are a little too small for car and anyone else, so should you go down a path and along comes someone else who won't stand down, you may have to run them through to get your UPS booty safely to the journeymen up front. At the bow of the SS Staples you'll find a Beats by Dre setup should you car to listen to headphones or earbud... yes you can sample other's earwax... I'm not entirely sure who thought this was a good idea. Getting out is hit or miss, occasionally it's smooth sailing, but every now and then there'll be someone with 100 gift cards that have to be activated. You can wander around the store plundering for 20 minutes if you get stuck behind that person. All in all, a fairly decent-faring presentation of an office supply store, if a bit thematically inconsistent. read more

It would have been one thing for you to quote me the price but to shrug your shoulders say you don't know and then tell me this 2 min process cost me $72 dollars is unacceptable. I'll leave the employee unnamed but he barely spoke English and knew nothing about pricing when I asked. Once again $2 a page for a PDF file??? I could have bought a scanner for that price. I purchased the same HP printer/scanner twice from this Staples and both are defective. Staples customer service won't help me and HP customer support is useless. Adrian Visaiz responded via email and offered to send me a replacement seat plate as of October 9 and also included instructional videos in the email. The seat plate that I received did not have a gas cylinder included and we were unable to remove the gas cylinder from the existing seat plate on the chair even after using a rubber mallet repeatedly. I contacted Adrian Visaiz again via email on December 9 and received no response. I then contacted the service@trueinnovations.com email for assistance on December 11. I received a response from Andrea Mendoza which included the instructional videos which we already have. I responded that they were not what we needed and that I needed a replacement gas cylinder. She said that she was sending me a replacement gas cylinder and 5 star base on December 13. I never asked for the 5 star base and do not need that at all. Today I received the 5 star base and nothing else. After four months of futility trying to get this chair fixed I am very frustrated and will never purchase from your store again. I would like the store to bring me a replacement new identical chair with all of the necessary parts as I am tired of requested parts and not receiving what I need. I contacted Staples via Messenger on December 13 stating that I felt like the store should repair the chair as they put it together incorrectly in the first place. It barely fits in our car and we do not own a truck so getting it to the store is a hardship. I was told that if I brought the chair back to the store that it may take several days for it to be repaired. This is entirely unacceptable. She helped me right away with a smile. We couldn't find it at first but she used a scanner and found it that they just received shipment and she went thru it and grabbed me what I needed. Unfortunately, this Staples store managed to lose a long standing customer. I bought a Western Digital hard drive from them which failed after their 14 day "Return" policy. I will accept the fact that it was roughly 60 days after the purchase date but I only wanted an exchange. I am, or was, a Rewards Customer, who had benefited from the program due to the fact that my business buys hard drives, monitors, software and office supplies from them. It was a simple issue of looking at my purchase history and validating that I am, or was, a long standing customer who has bought many thousands of dollars worth of products. The manager appeared to not even consider this for a second and said it could not be done. I informed him of my customer history, that I did not want money back, just an exchange for a functioning product that is guaranteed on the box by the manufacturer for two years. I was told the manufacturer is who I would have to deal with due to their policy. I spent the remainder of my Customer Rewards and requested my Rewards Account be deactivated and that I receive no more emails from them. I was instructed to call an 800 number which I did and the lady on the phone seemed not to care that I was taking my business from them either. I run my own business. I do not lose long standing customers with simple and valid request over this kind of policy. I certainly don't treat them as though I do not care if I lose them. I understand this manager obviously has little concern about the overall Staples enterprise but I expect a little more when my business history is right there for them to review and understand I am a good customer that they benefit from on a regular basis. Pens, paper, pencils, paper clips, and parking make for a quick and easy in-and-out experience at this location to get the necessities of work life. They have a large selection of the basics in terms of office supplies including a pretty great selection of Ink Cartridges and Printers. Not as large as the staples of office work, but they have reasonable selection of computers and other electronic tools. Their office equipment selection includes a nice selection considering this location isn't "huge" like other box store supply locations. read more

Experienced come terrible customer service here, dropped off a computer and they called a few days later telling me it was fixed which was great, when I went to pick it up the computer was not working at all and the tech guy could not figure out what was wrong. After leaving it for a second time they said it had to be shipped out, I told them I'd just pick up the hard drive and get a new computer, when I arrived it took a good 30 minutes before someone was with us and they had lost the computer. When they finally found it I just left and went to another place to purchase. read more

I was walking in and there's a table vendor set up outside the door. I was not interested in stopping and was in a hurry. He said hello and I said hello back. He asked me if I was originally from Tennessee and I said no. I didn't want to continue and just go inside. He then asks me where am I from. I just responded 'Thank you' and was going to leave it at that. He raises his voice and his voice turned aggressive. He responded by saying, I said Where are you from? I feel that was unnecessary and went over the line. Unfortunately, not everyone wants to deal w a pop up ad. I just wanted to go shop in the store that I came to. I just walked to customer service and told the associate, the guy at the table was very aggressive to me. She just laughed. I was still upset and bothered when I was leaving and decided to tell the manager. He listened to me and said he would talk to the guy. I can only hope he does. If I see a table set up in front of the store, I will just go somewhere else. read more

The employees that work at this print center are not very helpful at all. I had a school project due and I needed a little help using the printer. They didn't even come over and help me and now I have bought printer paper and used the self print station only to realize that my prints look bad because I should have used a photo printer. Now I have to go somewhere else and pay to print everything again. read more

No where close to same day, no updates, and the price isn't competitive without same day turnaround. Don't bother if you are in a hurry for cards. They can't deliver.
