I am so glad this place opened up in this area. Hate traveling too far for authentic Chinese food…read more For those who know you know right. Peking duck, roast pork and crispy roast pork are my faves. And soon to be yours. Service is very good for Chinese restaurants. And it's a typical chinese restaurant layout. But it's the food you came for. Dim sum is not bad for location but it's not a dim sum restaurant FYI.

Wo Kee has lately become our extended family's go-to Sunday luncheon spot, and it's easy to see…read morewhy. They have a larger dining room that's perfect for big groups, so getting everyone together is comfortable and stress-free. The food is solid, classic Chinese comfort fare -- flavorful, satisfying, and yes, unapologetically rich in MSG (the good kind that makes everything extra tasty). The Fish Fillet Home Style is always a hit with the younger crowd, and the Double Cooked Pork is another standout -- think lechon-style pork belly tossed with plenty of vegetables in a savory brown sauce. That combo somehow gets the kids happily eating their veggies too. They also do Hot & Sour Soup right -- nicely balanced with the perfect tang and heat. The sautéed snow pea leaves with garlic is a staple order for us, and the pan-fried noodles are consistently delicious with great texture. The crispy garlic chicken was surprisingly good as well -- super flavorful and cooked just right. Portions are generous, making it ideal for sharing family-style. The staff are friendly and quick, and the place is clean and well-kept, which makes dining there even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a reliable, no-frills spot for big group dining with satisfying dishes, Wo Kee delivers every time.

Just another hole-in-the-wall Chinese takeout spot, but for some reason, we come here every so…read moreoften. It's changed hands several times over the years that we've lived in the neighborhood, but the food has been pretty consistent. There's not much variation in Beef & Broccoli, Sweet & Sour Pork or Fried Chicken Wings. What has changed with the current owners is that they've tried to branch out from the cookie cutter Chinese takeout by expanding into other Asian cuisines, such as Thai. The main printed menu still has the standards, but new hand written menu signs hang from the wall with dishes such as Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried Rice (*w/ choice of protein). We still like to get our regular Pan Fried Pork Dumplings, our favorite Cold Sesame Noodles, Sesame Chicken (or Sweet & Sour or General Tso's) & Moo Goo Gai Pan. I like to add a large quart of Wonton Egg Drop soup for good measure because I love soup. It's Chinese-American comfort fast food, not something my mom would make, but it gets the job done quick. Pretty much any size order you throw at them, it will be ready in 20 minutes for pick-up. Those blazing hot woks are no joke. And you get a free can of soda for every $25 spent. You can also get a 32 oz quart of their homemade iced tea that is super sweet, but is a great thirst quencher in the summer. They take credit card payment (not sure which ones, probably Visa & MC) without additional fees and they are closed on Mondays.

This is my favorite Chinese spot! I order from here probably once a week. It's so convenient since…read moreI work on the next block. The service is fast. The woman is very efficient. The food is delicious. Sometimes, I take my food to go or I eat inside. The restaurant is small with about 3 tables inside. The restaurant makes good business though.
