Good spot for authentic Bengali cuisine. It's a very popular place to have fresh tasty Bengali Indian foods , snacks as well as sweet and dessert items. Price is reasonable. Street parking available. Very busy and fast pace service because of it's popularity. Don't forget to try their sweet & desert items. Beef tehari is must have !! Try Bengali tea with cream and sugar, you'll thank me later. Customer service is excellent . Highly recommended for everyone.

Clean, timely service and good sweets. There is a lot of choice of lunch, dinner, snack and sweet items. The cha is just like home made cha too.

Not a great place. Avoid I wanted to give this place a higher rating especially since I eat at the Premium Sweets in Bangladesh often when I'm there. However, when we came here for iftar on Saturday evening, we were greeted by overpriced food that wasn't worth the hype and wasn't anywhere near as good as the original in Bangladesh. On top of that, the chicken in the iftar platter was raw (see picture) and the restaurant didn't replace (made some excuse about not having enough left?) and didn't adjust the final bill. Pretty shocking stuff Either way, there are plenty of other great places for Bangladeshi cuisine in the area. I would avoid this one

Crazy guy

We had to wait 30-40 mins for just the food to get ready, while eating the food I noticed the excess oil on it, and above all else, the entire time that I was eating there was this lady and a man staring us down, please becareful if them

This is a spot thats open late at night and great to go to when craving chai. Its a Bangladeshi owned and run sweet shops and one would find things most bengali would eat when living in Bangladesh. The style of cooking is homestyle however the quality of material is ok and can be better in my opinion.

Do not recommend this place. There was water leaking and the time it took to get our food took longer than my mom figuring out what my name was again.

Wanted to eat malai and I stumbled upon this place. I used to live in Brooklyn and my apartment used to be in the vicinity of Bangladesh/Pakistani neighborhood and their grocery stores carry these gulab jamun and rasgulla in sweet syrup packaged and the sticker would have premium sweets on it. I used to buy it so often that when I came into store, I had recognized it! I had to buy it of course! You can mix some of the sweets as long as it's the same price per pound. So I got $6 per pound sweets and $8 per pound rasgulla and covered in powder. It's not overly sweet like almost all the sweet restaurants does so I will definitely buy it again! $14 well spent! :)

Food and sweets are on point. Try the beef tehri with yellow rice. End it with a bengali tea.

Great Indian bakery and desserts in Jamaica! I loved the mango chutney smoothie with lychee and the rass malai dessert. Also good samosas.

This review is ONLY about the food and my experience eating here. I stumbled across this spot and stopped in because I was curious about the food since it was vegeterian and I was on a no-meat cleanse. It's a bit inconspicuous so you may not even realize it's a restaurant from the outside. That being said, it seems to be a very popular vegetarian spot in the area and has a good variety of vegetarian Indian dishes as well as Western vegetarian dishes. The spot is midsized, with a good amount of seating. The staff were very friendly and helpful with questions about the dishes. I ordered a few items - vegetables pakora, bhajia, and the Annam Brahma dinner. I also tried their chai. Overall, the food wasn't too bad and was a good portion for the price. I loved the chai and also ordered a mango lassi, which was also very tasty. The pakora and bhajia were delicious and paired well with the sauce. The Annam Brahma dinner was filling although I wish it has a bit more seasoning. Overall, this is a good spot for vegetarian food if you're in the neighborhood and looking for a good vegetarian spot.

It soo much easier to make a…read moredecision of what you want to eat since every dish has a picture which helps out a lot especially for me who's very indecisive with ordering food! To start off we got the Aloo Gobi Samosa which was good. As for the main dish I got the Chicken Saag Tikka which was very good but had very little chicken inside of it which was really disappointing. It seems like I was just eating a dish filled with sauce and few pieces of chicken inside it. We got one order of garlic and rosemary naan which was already cut up in quarter pieces. The naan came in very useful especially with all that extra sauce I had left from my chicken saag tikka dish. To finish off the night I got the Malai Kulfi ice cream for desert which was super frozen took some struggle to break off the pieces without making a mess. Overall this place is a nice quiet spot for dinner not to mention the TV above the door had plenty of Indian music videos on the whole time we were there. Also the service was good no complaints here.

I love potato dishes so I had to try the "Aloo Dom" (Potatoes stuffed with cheese and chaat) with a hint of curry..delicious! Chicken tikka was ok and portions could've been a little bigger for $10, they were bite sized pieces. However, i'm a fan and will definitely be trying more menu items!!

BEST TIKKA MASALA IN NEW YORK!!!…read more Love coming here, couldn't recommend any more. Excellent food and great service!

Delivery order This…read morewas a miss. While the order was on time and the driver was courteous the restaurant will not be getting more business from me. They got 2 parts of the order wrong. The worst was the drink. I paid EXTRA for strawberry lemonade. Not only was there no strawberry, it wasn't even lemonade. It dusty colored cold water that tasted like someone added a teaspoon of lemon concentrate. No sweetness, barely any flavor at all. Just a weak hint of fake lemon. Definitely no strawberries. The food itself was not great. Just meh. The lamb vindaloo was the only thing with any character. I think there were 4 small cubes of lamb and 3 small potato cubes. I know it's a lunch portion, but dang. They didn't skimp on the sauce though. Everything was drowning in sauce. I've never had thin tomato soup before, but the flavor was OK. I might try those ingredients myself at home with some Campbell's - and a heavier hand. At least it was piping hot. The one thing I really liked was the naan! It was soft and warm and tasted like it had just been made. This was a $20 order, I expected a lot better. I didn't think the bread would be the star of this show.
