In fact, she even stated she didn't HAVE the 130 to pay for the Glamour lashes and all she had was $85. Then stated she would be back at 6pm so they could fill them in more - but refused to pay any additional charge. This woman's sense of entitlement was ridiculous. This place has the right to refuse service. Not surprised she gave them a 1 star. You cant go around not paying people for their time and service. Even after they waived her $30 lash removal fee. Any ways, This place is legit and they have a cute little set up. I ALWAYS fall asleep during the process, really nice. Get tons of compliments on my lashes.

Why I went back, I question every day. She doesn't change the sheets between clients, she offers a blanket every time that I know is not washed between clients, so I decline. She doesn't leave her chair when she calls her next client into her station. I'm not sure how she has time to sterilize her equipment; therefore, I don't think she does. This last time I went to her, I got a horrible infection that resulted in my eyelashes falling out. I have no eye eyelashes! The pain was unbelievable, so much so that I almost went to the emergency room. I couldn't sleep, my eyes were red and felt like they were bulging out of my head! I went to my eye doctor twice and thank goodness my eyes are okay and I'm grateful for that. However, I have no eyelashes! I questioned her in the past about the eye infections I've had and questioned her about her sterilization procedures. In her broken English, she told me she does sterilize between clients. I do not believe that she sterilizes her tools. I've have two friends who have also gotten eye infections from her. One day as I was waiting for my appointment, a lady was checking out and questioning the receptionist as to why her eyes have been so itchy and red the last time she got her eyelash extensions. That should've been my clue, amongst others, to not return. When I go to my nail salon, they open a package of tools that have been through a sterilization process. Hannah's business does not do that! Shame on me for returning and I learned my lesson the hard way. She did return my money, including my tip and offered me free eyelash extensions when my eyelashes grow back, really? I will never get eyelash extensions again. I'm grateful that my eyes were not permanently damaged. My eyelashes will grow back, but I will never get eyelash extensions again. Please be aware that it appears that Hannah is violating health codes. I have notified the health department. She could truly damage someone's eyes permanently! It's just not worth the risk. Hopefully she will get a violation and get her act together by changing the sheets between clients, bringing a new blanket in each time a client walks into her station and properly sterilizes her tools with the proper sterilization equipment. This is a disaster waiting to happen... I was lucky there was only my eye eyelashes and my eyesight was not damaged. Hannah, I've seen that you have responded to others who have given you a low rating. Don't you dare respond to this one with any excuses. Hopefully the health department will be knocking on your door any day now. I would suggest that you get your act together and sterilize your equipment and change the sheets! That's disgusting!

The male that called me is very rude and unprofessional. Straight Bull! I ask for what was advertised. I did not get that. Oh! And, Hope took it upon herself to charge my credit card $25. And, had the nerve to charge my credit card $25 when I did not owe. Sad!. Ridiculous! A happy customer is a return customer. The process to schedule the appt over the phone took longer than I expected and someone snagged up the 2:30pm. I had to settle for the 5:30pm, which I guess wasn't too bad. I was hesitant to try Nina out because it was just her second day here and there were no reviews for me to refer to. I took the chance and it ended up working out. I got there on time, completed the paper work and Nina took me in to get prepped. She showed me a few pics as reference and I showed her what I wanted and the lengths [10,12,13 and 14]. We wrapped up at 7pm and my lashes looked good. My eyes weren't red and none of the lashes were stuck together. I do wish she alternated the lengths a little bit more like I requested but I'll make sure that happens upon my refill. Few things to note: there's plenty of parking, the shop is very clean and you get $10 if you leave a review on Yelp with a picture and another $10 if you pre-book your refill appt 14 days after your initial appt.

I was very hesitant to get a lash lift because I've always had full and long lashes and was scared they'd get messed up but I wanted to stop using mascara as often so I decided to get one. Now it's June and my lashes are broken off and frizzy. They go all different ways and just look really really bad. I've tried oils and everything to get them to look normal but nothing has worked yet. My experience wasn't great when I went in and now my lashes are ruined, I can't wear mascara because it looks crazy. I'm not sure if they were over curled or the chemicals were left on too long but my eyelashes still haven't recovered. I'm so upset my beautiful lashes are ruined. I regret getting a lash lift and would never get one again unfortunately.

Before I begin, I want to acknowledge my own role in this experience. In hindsight, I should have…read moretrusted my instincts and refrained from proceeding with the service given my known sensitivity. That said, I do feel it's important to share my experience to help others make an informed decision. At the start of my appointment, I informed the stylist that I have sensitivities and have required sensitive glue in the past. She paused to check, then returned and said they did not have any on hand. I expressed my concern, but she reassured me that most clients believe they're sensitive when the real issue is usually application technique. She also mentioned her experience and skill level, which gave me enough comfort to proceed. Immediately after the service, I noticed a burning sensation in my right eye and mentioned it. She gave me a fan to help soothe it and reassured me it would subside. Unfortunately, by the next morning, I had a swollen left eye and a stye something I've never experienced before. Later that day, my right eye became irritated and pink, and I was diagnosed with pink eye. Both eyes were red, irritated, and uncomfortable for what was supposed to be a special occasion my birthday. As I write this, I am still dealing with discomfort and unable to have the lashes removed because I'm out of town. I plan to have them professionally taken off as soon as I return. While I don't place full blame on the stylist, I do believe this situation could have been avoided with clearer communication, more transparency about product availability, and perhaps erring on the side of caution when a client expresses concern. I share this review in the spirit of constructive feedback and in hopes it may be helpful to others with similar sensitivities.

I love Star Lash Bar!! I've gotten extensions before, but when I went to Mia... she was amazing!!! Her waiting area is clean, she has refreshments, and she is very professional. Booking appointments is easy and she responds very quickly. She is also accommodating when you have to move your appointment date and time around. Since going to star lash bar, I've received several compliments on my lashes. They are soft and full and I love them every time. They also last a long time with minimal lashes falling out. I set up a appointment for TODAY on yesterday by texting as directed. I received a response very timely and I contacted them after 5pm....HUGE Kudos! I arrived early which I was glad I did because I filled out their health assessment and consents. Although Sarah was approx. 25 mins late, there was plenty of soothing music, waters, and snacks! The salon is nicely decorated with gentle relaxing music, comfortable treatment lounges, and pleasant and professional staff. Everyone asks me where I get my lashes done.
