I had a problem with my chair, actually…read moremultiple problems all of which took a very long time to resolve, the latest and most serious problem was when my chair had a part replaced by a service technician somehow a screw was not installed properly an came out causing me to be dumped out of it and I landed on an asphalt service causing several injuries. It took them several days just to get back to me, meanwhile I had to reattach the screw so I could have some way to get around. It took several calls to get a loaner chair that was awful. I have tried everything to work with this company to no avail. I'm in this chair for a reason and now I'm scared to even get in another chair. Now what do I do? I either don't move or run the risk of being hurt again or even worse.

My father in law age 90 and mother 83. Mother passed away about 4 months ago. Since her passing, I am yet to have seen the elevator work one time. I called last Friday, I was told I would receive a call back, never did. I called back Wednesday of this week, and can not get the elevator to be looked at until Next Friday. Very sad, we have told my father in law that he will have to stay on the main level until it is fixed next Friday. I have been told because my mother in law passed, this time and this time only there will not be a service call charge when the elevator was supposedly repaired a few weeks ago, that never worked the one time i tried to use it. It is very sad that an elderly couple, now just an elderly man will be charged for an elevator repair that never worked in the first place this time. I would find a company that not only takes pride in the equipment they sell but also takes pride in the service they provide and stand behind it. .

I contacted Southern Stairlifts about installing a lift in our home and it was a fantastic…read moreexperience throughout the entire process. The kind gentleman who worked with us, Richard (he goes by Dick), made the entire procedure painless. I received a call back to the message I'd left enquiring about a stairlift and he came out the very next day, answered all of my questions and gave me the estimate. I'd already researched pricing and the estimate was within what I expected so we wrote up the contract and he went ahead and ordered the lift and its parts. This was all during the week that held New Year's Eve and Day so I expected installation to possibly be delayed because of this, but he called me a day EARLIER than I'd expected to tell me everything was ready to go! On the day of the lift's setup, Dick and his installation partner, Dan, arrived right on time. It literally took less than 90 minutes for the stairlift to be installed and working. The stairlift is easy to operate, moves without any jerking or hesitation once it's engaged, and is allowing my mother to remain in the home she loves now that she has mobility issues. The communication from Dick and Southern Stairlifts is excellent. He had the answers to all of my questions both pre-and post-installation and I am happy to recommend them to anyone.
